Kind of an odd edit this one , looks a little HDR but no application there,
I was shooting at about 20 degrees towards the sun trying to get a backlight
The image came out full of magenta , was an effort to save this shot ,

Whistling Peanut ?
any ideas ?
Some of this art is very cryptic , not easy to decipher to say the least !
It's an aerosol/paintcan goompa, you should have included the writing in with it.
As it turns out RX I did get the writing in another shot , but just as cryptic to me ...
I think it says whistling peanut

On the 20th February this year a Tropical Cyclone crossed the coast near to my home town , rated at a severe cat 5 but downgraded to a 4 , this still meant wind gusts approaching 200 kms/hr .
I was one of the lucky ones in that we did not suffer significant damage to our home , as others did , still it is not something I would like to go through again.
These images are not that great but it may give a small insight into the effects of a major storm .
During the " Eye " of the cyclone I witnessed these Great Terns flocking wildly , these are Sea birds , I am located 50 kms inland , they are trapped in the eye of the storm and have to stay confined in this until the storm abates , trapped in a circle of winds 200 kms per hr. ( would have shat myself if I saw a pelican in there )
As I said we were lucky not to sustain major damage , good thing for steel buildings I guess, not for trees
Just a couple images to share , I have many more but don't want to bore you guys .
5 Days later the electricity came back on .....
Cheers Goompa

Nice shot , I would have liked to see the entire vehicle in frame , would have shown more scale IMO , still good viewing !
