  1. Easy easy way. Play be the rules ok then your life will be easy easy.

To answer your question one entry one strike through in your passport. For single entry visa is now dead. For double entry your visa has one more life. Two entries and you need a new tourist visa.

Try this way... is if it is easy then get a double entry visa in ny. When you arrive Do Not enter your visa number on your embarcation card and try to explain if asked by immagration that you are only staying for 2 weeks and plan to use your visa on arrival back from burma.

If you win the conversation then you will have the entilement to stay for longer than you proberly want too. I.e. 2 x 60 days with a depairture mid point.

If you dont win then no loss you have one strike for 60days then when you return you can stay for another 60 days with the chance of extending for an extra 30.

There are many other ways to di this involving getting visas in other countries employing "local services" etc...

The answer is they all may work or not work but general rule of thumb is syay within the law and you will be fine and if you have the opertunity to apply at home then do so

  3. Only farang's tongue restaurants made the list. No surprise.... I am Thai and I know what delicious Thai food is like. Why do I have to care about it. I am non-alcoholic so wine is not necessary and I can't trade my precepts for haute cusine.

For me, street kow soi taste much better than famous ones because it made for locals not tourists.

You say you know what delious food tastes like because your thai????...

What has being thai got to do with food knowledge? ?

Im all confused now. Please correct me if im wrong here.... Thailand is the second largest user of MSG in the world only second to China wont bore ppl with % with population, china verses thailand but I think we all agree nearly all food here contains a lot of MSG. Mind altering drug that basically makes any food taste nice MSG is natural in some food products but here in Thailand "probably" all restaurants add it by the kg.

So my question is what does being a thai person know about good tasting food????? Just a question.

And as for famous local thai places where only thai ppl can go. You mean really those pasted on to pantip and facebook????

Famous famous famous.......... must go must go can we can we........been to many of those places with my wife. The only thing famous about them is the long long long line of ppl all rwading pantip waiting to eat lots of msg. Most of the time these places listed in pantip are no better than anywhere else in thailand. But we all know asia and there adicition to social media and the I want to be seen in these in places syndrome.... So i must go even if the food is terrible because its the most famous. Oh not forgetting to check in on facebook when you arrive and take a picture of your food.

There is good food and bad food everywhere in the world and trust me is doesnt make a diffence if you thai or english or american to locate it.

And I definitely dont need pantip or facebook to advise me.

  4. There is no pizza anywhere in Thailand.  What passes for pizza here are dribbles on some low quality doah.

Being from NYC I think I can speak about pizza - NY pizza is only available in NYC, even crossing the Hudson River to NJ you lose that NYC quality.  One slice of an authentic NY pizza contains more food than a whole pizza in Thailand.

Pizzas origin is not Italian it's from Coney Island boardwalk in the 1940's after the war.  Italian immigrants working the boardwalk baked lasagne and other deep dish Southern Italian foods.  They tossed some thickened doah onto the bottom of the ovens to catch the drips from the deep dish items - that's what they ate for themselves.  Someone eventually started to sell the dripped sauce fallen onto the doah and wella pizza was born.  Pizza became a bar-food, an easy way to get a liquor permit as NY law then had it that to sell booze you had to also offer food and pizza was easy and fast.  Up until the mid 50's pizza was only available in NYC but gradually it worked it's way to NJ and then westward ho. and eventually found it's way to Italy and 'round the world but the NY recipe was never quite the same outside of NYC.

  6. Out on my bicycle this morning as usual and on my usual route.

Cycling along a four lane main highway a policeman told me to stop cycling and stand for the National Anthem at 8am.

I was surprised as I was riding along at about 40kph and he tried to step out in front of me! Anyway, going too fast to stop so carried on.

Now I will stand up in the cinema and at the local market in the evening like everyone else when the anthem plays but to try and stop traffic just because the National Anthem is playing seems slightly over the top to me.

  7. I can't imagine a single pizza big enough to satisfy the appetites of four. It'd be the size of a manhole cover, no?

It would suit that big fat ugly guy in the first thread for his breakfast.

;) have to agree maybe 2 ppl at a push

  10. Best italian style pizza in bangkok for sure is from scoozi. There small resturant but do offer delivery not sure of the range they cover but they have a website. When I say Italian pizza I mean traditional thin thin crust with lots of toppings to choose from. Price is compatable with other takeaway/delivered pizza outlets.

Dominoes is very good too but I guess its the same as scoozi. So far limited on number of shops and delivery range. Most appear to be around suk road and one in bang kapi??????? So depends where you are based for this availabilty.

Forgot to say scoozi located on surawong road just off silom road nearest bts I guess is chong nonsi. Other one I know of is on the srinagarindra road for those living in bangna area.

For faty fat thick crust pizza's falang style with beer etc the the pizza company is probably the best around.

As for pizza hut....... well if you have too just order the pasta....unless you like frozen reheated bread cheese and tomato sandwich spread and a few toppings over the top.
