I think its important to not forget places like NONG NUCH Gardens too, which you can find drugged tigers sprawling around for 20 baht a shot photos... it seems there will now be an extra 150 tigers ready to be moved around all the local attractions soon.

one of the problems with the Tiger temple was interbreeding, the head monk said in the documentary - if he heard the tigers getting frisky, he would open the cage and let a female in, afterall tigers have feelings too, just like humans do. hmmmm ok Einstein... so 3 tigers becomes 150 because you promote sexual behaviour with tigers... i can just see how it goes down with frisky monks too.,

I think the PM is definitely reading THAIVISA - it seems the normal slap on the wrist that mostly happens was rebuked due to our constant whining. And its not the first time too.... Fact is ALL relationships are Give & Take - The guy benefits from a loving easy on the eye girl and she benefits in return from security and a future she can depend on.

Now imagine your getting old and all you want to do is relive your youth? and perhaps not be stuck with some old battle axe or a miserable old girl with lots of baggage.

In return the young 17 year old can be guaranteed assets, a future (probably not with him forever though) and is it so bad? he may be more patient, noble and more interesting than a 17 year old guy, he may even be more trustworthy.

all thai restaurants that have a SERVICE CHARGE plus 7% VAT i would avoid like the plague....
Basically they are claiming they are a proper co ltd company so there is the 7% VAT

But the 10% service charge????

Basically they are demanding you tip their staff 10% extra - and then i guarantee they will have the cheek to bring the bill on a plate, expecting you to tip more...

so if you are in the habit of paying 17% over the price quoted - then being expected to tip too... go for it... personally this is not the way i want to see thailand going and Farang business owners need to stop it... yes sunrise tacos you especially...

its bad enough that the bigger airlines cant even maintain their aircraft with qualified aircraft engineers & technicians... Any light aircraft or private jets here you would be seriously dicing with death if you can trust that they did service the aircraft properly...RIP another sad case of Thailand not being able to apply laws or rules or have any insight as to what health and safety regulation and responsibilities are actually for... Mai pen Rai syndrome!

i tend to agree, why tie up 10 mil in a crappy 1.5 interest saver in Thailand just to stay here when 2 mil will get you 20 years here and the 8 mil can stay back home in lets say funds or safer investments that can generate higher interest.. Buy and rent property ect - that would easily pay off your 2 mil eventually... its easy to bring money in but each day gets harder to take it back home...

Stop using SCB Easy net to do it... walk into the bank looking smart and do it in person - 700, 000 per time....

Its not easy running Thai business and many will fail esp during the hard times - making it in Thailand is far harder than back home in my opinion. However you will always see loads of foreign business still thriving - the secret to these is they are the best or the only Niche in their demographic.. Food & drink is always difficult and over saturated, if you make a good idea it will be copied.... however if you offer a service that the Thais cannot copy due to lets say lack of skills... then you reign supreme.

Nonse loads of places open until 5am - In Bangkok at least.... It all depends who owns the establishment and how much they pay off the police. Need to ask the creatures of the night and they will tell your pal whats what.
