i can confirm that scb has stolen money from my bank too

30,000 baht went missing from my account when i was out of the country, it was traced to an ATM machine, when i went there they said there was no camera installed in that ATM machine so no proof it was ever taken from there. i was not even in the country and definitely had my card with me.

i went to the head office in SIAM SCB and asked what could it be, a bank error or can i investigate and get my money back, the managers professional and customer service orientated reply to me was,, were you drunk that day, sure you didnt have a few drinks?'

NEVER TRUST THAI BANKS, especially not the SCB - keep the minimum amount in there and its safer to keep the rest in a safe

another reason i think its rigged is online bank statements are always only the last 3 months, if you want to check more you have to pay for paper statements to be made specially, i had to wait 10 days just to get a statement over 3 months. HSBC in the UK provide them for free and i can check up to 3 years ago or more.

Why just 3 months? surely hard drive space isnt that expensive for a few digits.

i've heard some nasty things about the glues they use, causing problems with the eyes. Even the really expensive ones have toxic glue that have made me shy away from the idea.

if you have western hair with waves and wot not, Barbers dont have the skills to layer things, remember they are not hairdressers they are trained to just shave and trim, not stylists by any means.

a barber in Bangkok is more for Thai men who have the traditional army cuts or Thai mullets, don't get me wrong Thai Barbers are great for farangs that have crew cuts or very short hair.

Personally i go to zenred salon, its salon for westerners and expats, the stylists speak good english and is well known

I pay 350 baht at zenred and its better than i paid for a 100 dollar cut in New york last year,

Actually i don't agree with the information Chiman is saying - apart from Be Careful

For everyone who is concerned about Brazilian Keratin - There is an official BLACKLIST from the Canadian Gov and many others who tested these so called BEST products.

Keratin Complex contained 10 times more than the legal and safe amount of formaldehyde which is supposed to only be a maximum of 0.2% - and was banned from Canada. Also Oregan OSHA and Europe baned the exact same products after formaldehyde or formalin was found in them.

Brazilian Blowout was believe it or not, the worst with almost 50 times the safe amount - with 8% being found in the product. Many people were complaining of health issues. hair stylists were getting sick and understandably why.

The blacklist states very clearly that KERATIN COMPLEX contained lethal levels of Formaldehyde, as did Brazilian Blowout and also La Brasiliana (which i believe made a hair stylist collapse in Bangkok's MBK Mall just last year so you dont see to many Brazilian keratin products in Thailand, and if you do be very Careful if they are on the blacklist below.

All of these Brazilian keratin products where banned and can not be used in Canada or europe at all

For those that don't know the latest Bangkok Gossip about Brazilian keratin, a little bird told me:

There was a big thing last year apparently happened in at least 2 salons in Bangkok with bad Brazilian keratin products that were banned from Canada for having too much formaldehyde, this is really nasty stuff they use to embalm dead bodies.

Well the story goes that a salon in MBK brought the 'La Brasiliana brand',

and it made the staff so sick they collapsed and went into a coma.

This is another shining example of how lax Thailands laws are with dangerous products that anywhere else in the world would be banned.

The salon did not even pay for the staff when she was off sick, that's just awful.

Also the famous Brazilian Blowout apparently contains 8% formaldehyde, the recommended level is actually 0.2%

So if you see any of these brands in Bangkok - i would say steer clear as you get get very sick and they really should be banned here too.

I prefer to have my hair done and a manicure, pedicure at the same time. I just think if im going to be sitting down for 2 hours i may as well have it all done at the same time. I highly recommend Zenred Salon for Manicures and Pedicures in Bangkok, well for anything hair related too.

But why i love them is they have the latest OPI nail polish and laquer range, plus China glaze and a few other top brands, normally you will pay quite a lot for those but everytime i have been they had some promotion on where it cost about the same price as a regular manicure or pedicure.
