  1. Hungary and the other Visegrad countries are exactly right and within their rights when saying they don't want Muslim immigration under whatever pretense, having acknowledged the obvious in that it is more trouble than it is worth in the long run, as can be witnessed in every single nation that had a taste of it.

250k per refugee they don't take? Like the sort of money you can easily finance a fully functioning camp along the Syrian border or in Turkey or Jordan for close to a hundred people a year, without all the "social costs" in our modern countries? Yeah, let's play the arm-twisting game some more and watch the whole EU implode. Which, to my mind, would be more catastrophic than anything that has so far perspired. You might not like the EU, they seriously should all get together and do some renegotiating on some points like immigration and welfare, but it is as such a really good thing and worth keeping.

  2. I think all the police that should have been providing public safety should be transferred to inactive posts in Hexenplatz.

No, no and no. There is a lot of blame to put everywhere, but the police actually there on Domplatte are not to blame.

They were too few, their superiors failed to call in more reserves when those were actually offered from Düsseldorf, if memory serves.

Those police present were totally overwhelmed and the information about what was happening was first not available, then things had got too much momentum. The little charmers were running in circles round police, actively blocking their access to victims crying for help. Hard to think of a tactic to devise there and then. (I actually do wish they had used their handguns, it's not like we would be missing anybody now, but in Germany that would be very unusual and legally risky at the moment.)

And what is "Hexenplatz"? "Witches' place"? Does not ring a bell with me.

  3. Sounds like they were really in a hurry. I wonder where they were going?

To meet their 72? virgins? whistling.gif

I never got that 72 virgins deal, I'm ok being a suicide bomber but can we get 2 or 3 sluts instead ?

Incidentally, the ancient Arab word for those virgins is "hooris". Ever wondered where the English word "whore" came from?

It's because the then European empires and the Pope used it in their propaganda for the crusades round the 12th century to slag off Muslims, like where they where going to in death. That's when the word "Hure" appeared in the then (much different) German language and subsequently made the leap to the British isles and into the English language.

On the other hand, makes you wonder if they know more than we do. Doesn't sound like a rough estimation after all...

  4. hundreds arrested

as usually the minority has the loudest voice

good the police did their job - probably they know the character of muslims very well from experience

Those protesters where not Muslims, they were left-wing fascist Antifa. At least there have been no reports of any Muslim protesters. And they somehow got hold of alist woth the names, addresses and contact details of some 2000 AFD members and published them on their Indymedia terrorist blog already calling for each and everyone of those AFF members to be " visited" at home and at best be killed.

No reaction by justice minister Maas to this, while he otherwise bellows he'd be hitting the " right-wing haters" with the full force of the law, the little weasel. Served him right what he got in Zwickau. His Facebook page presently is a mess with gloating.

That's what this country is coming to.

  5. So, What has happen to that EU policy of "open Boarders"? Found out that it is still each country for it self eh ?

Germany closed borders and no one protests. Austria does and the EU say tut, tut.

And there are some who still don't think Germany runs the EU admin arm.

Germany did not close it's borders, it introduced border controls. Which meant general traffic including commuters where slowed down and harrassed while the criminals simply walked past over some open field unfazed and unhindered. Police where even forbidden to physically stop them. And those poor sods actually being stopped and sent back to Austria for saying they were actually running for their life to Scandinavia "to claim asylum" there, i.e. not in Germany, simply walked to the next crossing to then give "the right answer".
  6. Well, time to do like Austria.

Enact emergency legislation, temporarily scrap right to asylum (which BTW is quite possible under the 1951 convention, EU Charter, and the ECHR), chuck the 600 criminal males out ASAP, then deal with the rest, i.e. those rather in need of protection without all that pressure and with kindness. Best done before we get any hostage taking scenarios.

I don't even know why I have to spell this out to anyone.

  7. What Germans do in Germany is not the business of Turkey.

The German government should know that an protect their citizens

Perhaps it's illegal in Germany to accuse people of having sex with children and animals?

Although I would have thought it's a civil matter rather than a criminal one.

In this case possibly a criminal matter, from the OP...

"German law forbids insults of organs or representatives of foreign states, prosecutors are examining whether criminal proceedings can be brought"

Next you will need to define what an insult is, and while that is as such easy with this case, you might find it surprisingly hard to insult a politician in Germany. There was one Fj Strauss in Germany, could have written a book about his trials and tribulationsCould well be a way back for this Böhmermann fellow into the protection of sartire.

BTW this §103a StGB provision is only for the foreign head of state, all other representatives would have had to have been in Germany in an official function. Erdowahn's now telling the press he's going until the last port of appeal, yes? Will be much quicker than he thinks.

  8. Read the whole article hoping to see a response by Merkel...but absent again.

You were hoping to... see a response by Merkel, yes? To then do what? Read it? Do your surviving braincells a favour, it would probably be along the lines of 'don't follow those harbouring cold in their hearts, even hatred' (translation of some real-life drivel when those Pegida-protests would not stop), what are you expecting here, honestly?
  9. You know, I really want to say something nice here, I really want to. But regardless of what drivel press are releasing here as in 'Macedonian police were firing rubber bullets at THE DESPERATE' or 'desperate people trying to storm the border', it's just so hard to love them when they are throwing stones and slingshots at police, fling back those inhumane teargas cannisters, and everything else...

  10. Carrying on in a violent manner as if they were in the middle east isn't going to help. What country wants to let this violent scum in.

Exactly. Just watching that video I thought to myself it looked like the middle-east was coming to Europe. Which is absolutely going to culturally enrich and help us here, according to Angie.

  11. Carrying on in a violent manner as if they were in the middle east isn't going to help. What country wants to let this violent scum in.

Well, since European men are such puzzies, we'll send some American women over there to protect them.

Yes, please do that, that would make for a refugees-welcome party.

  12. To prevent it from being a shrine for the neo-nazis. Doesn't make much sense to spend money on preserving it.

Too late, the actual private owner, Gerlinde Pommer, makes some average 4.800 EUR per month on random visitors.

Not all of them are neo-Nazi's...

Nice attempt at being sarcastic, but that thing is standing empty, the Austrian state is paying for it.
  13. What appears to be the problem here? This Pommer woman is the rightful owner, she has been renting the thing out for 40 y now to the Austrian state. Not the slightest hint of her wanting to turn it into a Nazi attraction. Austria is still renting it from her (that's the 5k Euro of rent), they just don't know what to do with it as she refuses to allow alterations for better accessibility and refurbishing the bathrooms. Which is within her rights, a lot of elderly landlords don't want that to bw sone to a house they liklely lived in themselves during their childhood. Disown while she is still using it economically, i.e. renting out? Tough cookie! So while using the thing (it's not 'Hitler's house', he never owned it nor is this Pommer woman related to him) as a workshop for disabled might be a nice touch with a view to the Nazis' ableism, there does not seem to he a call for that.
