  1. Best to drop Thai Pass and follow example of Cambodia.
  2. Insurance only pays if you actually have Covid and require medical treatment so if you test positive has big financial implications.
  3. Thailand Pass a step in right direction hopefully all restrictions will be lifted by January except negative Covid test before travel
  4. Don't expect rush of international tourists until all restrictions lifted especially quarantine on arrival.
  5. Really so arrivals nothing to do with Thailand Pass which scheduled to be launched on 1st November.
  6. Don't know why you publish this nonsense. Everyone knows we are going to have to live with the Viras but vaccines reduce risks of serious illness requiring hospitalisation.
  7. Best thing Thailand could do is to extend visa exemption to 60 days and entry with only Covid vaccination certificate. No other ridiculous requirements especially quarantine expensive tracking apps so called Covid insurance which in many cases does not pay out.
  8. Let's wait for publication in the Gazette as don't forget state of emergency has already been extended until end of November. Personally think High Season has already been lost as nothing to stop complete reversal international tourists need definite confirmation COE etc has been cancelled and only requirement double vaccination.
  9. Fear there will be little international tourism to Pattaya only domestic until at least 2022. Good Luck you need it.
  10. It is nothing to do with vaccines the problem is testing for variants and reason why Thailand is on the red list. Only UK Nationals travelling from Thailand are permitted to enter UK but they must arrange and pay for quarantine upon arrival for 10 days costing about £2,300 about Bht 100,000. Presently UK nationals are advised not to travel to Thailand.
  11. There is never going to be a right time to reopen for Tourism but it is clear so many are suffering lack of employment hunger and lack of basic necessities especially many children so we must realise we are going to have to live with Covid for a long time and must get on with our lives
  12. Just advise when Thailand will welcome vaccinated tourists without any other restrictions. Looks like peak season will again be lost so may as well wait until later half of next year by which time TAT will realise we are all going to have to live with the Viras whether we like it or not.
  13. Bank of England notes are always valid however after September you must pay into a bank in England with which you hold a bank account or take to the Bank of England who will change a reasonable quantity otherwise you will have to justify how they came into your posseion. It is up to banks in Thailand to decide whether or not they are willing to exchange them same as any other currency
  14. Presume Chinese are supplying their vaccine for FREE which for a short term fix better than nothing
  15. So far as I am aware Thailand is the only South East Asia country to try and open for Tourism. At least Phuket Sandbox allows some freedom unlike the Samui plus which doomed to failure. Restrictions should be gradually reduced and freedom to travel between Phuket and Samui would help to boost Tourism which will be in no way near past numbers whilst Covid persists
  16. STV is no longer available but since already issued you should be entitled to one further 90 days extension.
  17. Inevitably Thailand will have to open for vaccinated as we are going to have to live with the Viras so do utmost to vaccinate Thai's soonest so that this can happen
  18. Don't have to be a medic to realise this just get on with vaccination programme so that we can all learn to live with the Viras and get on with our lives.
  19. TAT can improve number of foreign arrivals by simplify sandbox schemes into one scheme with minimal restrictions the Samui plus scheme is ridiculous and should be scraped immediately and merged into the Phuket Sandbox which allows greater freedoms such as car hire and unrestricted travel within the Island. This would facilitate arrivals through Phuket Airport and those wishing to visit Samui accomdated by direct flights from Phuket to Samui and vice versa. This would attract Russians who have traditionally holidayed in Samui
  20. Do utmost to procure sufficient vaccines is the only answer and then prepare plans to attract tourists with promotions and minimal restrictions.
  21. Estate agents that I have see interviewed about property market have all been bullish and stated how well the market is performing some saying prices are actually going up in tourist areas. If this is the case the market should be booming! Is it?
  22. The best solution is to do utmost to increase production of AZ vaccine in Thailand. If Chinese vaccines are ineffective why waste money ordering more. More worrying is what is China doing to vaccinate its people if their vaccines are ineffective there is a high risk of the viras getting out of control there and creating futher variants.
