I don't mean to hi-jack the thread. I am pretty new to this. Can someone explain what is meant by Non-B visa? I carry what I think is called a category B visa, multiple entry. I have been working in Thailand for seven months on and off and am exploring moving here.

Probably just using a crocodile fable to keep the stupid tourists out of the sea when there is a rip current.
Good Idea!

Citra appears to be a pretty disgusting corporate citizen of our world. I hope this backlash continues and their products as well as those of it's parent and subsidiries get the kind of consumer boycott they deserve.

# 1 thing about Soi 33. I was in BKK for months before I went anywhere else. I was always told watch BKK for ladyboys. No such thing on Soi 33. When I finally ventured outside, I was shocked that Soi Nanna for example is a full 70% dick swingers. In some clubs its all or almost all the dancers.

I grew up in Saskatchewan. Not sure about Thailand, but it was a practical reality there.

Quite clearly your graphics card is hooched. Simple fix on many, but on others, the graphics card is bonded to mother board or other components with a sticky glue like substance. A heat gun set on low along with some nasty sticky fingers will separate on many models in this case.
I always keep the original build data sheets for the laptops I buy. Then if money is tight, I can keep them going for fractions of replacement by knowing what fits and what doesn't myself.. I was once stuck a few months without a computer and learned my lesson.

You sir are way out of line here. Geckos are wonderful, friendly creatures and quite witty as well. Have you not seen the Geicho Insurance TV commercials from America?? Some people can be so intolerant and ignorant.

The rates seem high. I realize Australia is 3 times as high, but rates in the U.S. and Canada don't seem more expensive to me. Mind you, I am no expert. My numbers are only anecdotal. I have never paid for, or played with, a pair.

This is sad news. I found the staff there quite helpful and friendly. From the Calgary Consulate
"" It is with a very heavy and sad heart that I must inform you that the Royal Thai Consulate-General is closing forever on Friday, August 30 2013. We have yet to find out why, but we have received a message from His Excellency, the Ambassador from Thailand, Udomphol Ninnad that Dr. Lacey is no longer the Honourary Consul-General in Calgary. Therefore, any future visas will have to be applied for at either Vancouver Consulate-General or the Thai Embassy in Ottawa "

20,000 baht a haul each? These guys were making some pretty serious coin. 10,000,000 per year out of the BKK GDP now.

I have been wondering the same thing. Do Thais need passport for any or all of these surrounding countries?

I'm staying home tonight. There'll be Falang rioting in the streets if the Bar Beers have run dry.
Oh wait, no beer, no drunk Falang? It's a chicken and egg sort of situation.
Nuh, I'll stay home.
LOL... Brilliant! But seriously 48 baht for Chang. Is there a protest planned?
