  1. Certainly surprised, last time i looked they only had one DOT approved one, somehow need to make sure it isn't fake, I'll stick with Shark, fit well
  2. Depends on your head shape i guess, my first Shark helmet was 1999, fitted great, same Shoei size
  3. Rutnin want 4,500 baht for an eye examination, eye watering with no symptoms
  4. no way that is snell certified for under 3k
  5. I always thought they weren't expansive enough, need at least 2 packets
  6. Shoei is over rated though, had one full face, nothing special, never bought again. 6k for a full face isn't a lot, has EU safety thing, Real will have nothing
  7. Shark helmets are good, certainly better than Real, on Lazada Ridill 6k for full face, i have one, plus open face. I like Shark more than Shoei
  8. You may be correct, it's just what i read earlier
  9. Easiest way to tell for me is a download bank statement for a month/s and they should total the debits, I've been the same every time i check, make an adjustment for yearly or one offs
  10. Just get a cheap open face one, girls prefer that. 500 baht would be ok for a temporary bird one, check Index on Lazada. I use the free one Mityon gives out when you buy a bike. They are more likely to agree to wearing a half face vs full face
  11. they won't do it, at Jomtien immigration 6 photos was 150 baht, the kodak shops were more when i went 3 months ago. A copy shop might do it, if in Pattaya the 50 Satang shop opposite Thepprasit night market, probably less than 20 baht
  12. Yeah I've seen those and an entire back, probably best of the bad bunch. A really hot girl had a back tattoo in Baccara agogo looked good but would have been even better without
  13. Looking at Rutnin's website they do refer to an examination, I'm checking the price
  14. definitely the guys idea, girls can fall for guys quite quickly, desperate and all that
  15. I've seen Euro Optic get recommended a lot and they have an optometrist which seems to be what I'm looking for, Rutnin don't even mention that, only ophthalmologist
  16. Imagine the kind of loser guy that gets them to do it
  17. Looking for a general test similar to what they do in the UK so not just glasses prescription. I only wear glasses when watching golf on TV so not interested in that it's more the other checks glaucoma etc. Any specific recommendations in Pattaya? I'm not interested in Bangkok Pattaya hospital. The other option is trying Rutnin in Bangkok, I'm up there in a few weeks, but looking at their website it's not even clear who I'd book with, any recommendation there?
  18. The sensible thing for banks to do is share ATMs, even branches, cashless is taking over, I scan QR 75% of the time
  19. Probably you're one of those tattooed guys, you know the ones best avoided
  20. I've noticed them repaving in Bangkok and leaving the difficult bits like in the photo, there is logic to that, get the easy stuff done first then go back and finish the tricky bits....well that's the logic, the test is if they go back to complete
  21. Yeah lot's of possible reasons for it including family, school fees, drinking, golf, sex workers, supporting buffaloes, anything
  22. mine isn't a budget, it's just what i spend, probably similar to back in the UK, over here guys who play golf, drink a lot and see a lot of sex workers can easily add 100k
  23. How do you spend 100k a month? not easy, maybe with family and school fees
  24. Been before, nothing special, PP expat types looked the low of the low
