I think that if you can prove you already had that $100k in your account, before the start of this year, then you can subsequently bring in up to that $100k tax free. After that amount it will be assessable for tax.

Hi Crossy, Do you know if the new electronic meters "clock up" units if i am exporting to the grid or just not "clocking down" We got changed to new meter and so i have unplugged one GTI so as not to produce more than our normal daytime consumption in case they do indeed charge for exporting

If true then you will probably be buying it at least over 40% market value

Thats a bit of a worry Has anyone else have any experience of the smart meters?
