  1. I've got my own domain where I can host any file format... Unfortunately I have to pay for it! :D

I don't know of any websites that offer free video hosting, the way some offer photo hosting... If you have funny clips then some joke sites might host them for you or you can register for your own domain and hosting service...

www.jaidee.com has already been taken though - is that you? :o

  2. Hear Hear....

When I get married (October), I will get married legally - I haven't looked or considered any economic advantages or disadvantages to it, they aren't relevant...! If it causes problems, or presents advantages in the future, then I will either deal with them or benefit from them - thats life.

If you were english, marrying another english man/woman, would you start wondering if you should register your marriage or not? Maybe because of child support etc.?

If you even consider this question, reconsider getting married...

  3. ‘Philanderer’ loses penis

KHON KAEN: -- The 53-year-old wife of a 35-year-old man chopped his penis off early yesterday morning after he allegedly asked her to make love to him for the last time before he left her for another woman.

Saithong told police she cut off Udom’s penis in a fit of rage because he was leaving her. She hoped he would stop philandering and stay with her if he could no longer function sexually. “I love him and I don’t want him to leave,[/B]” Saithong said.

Hmmm maybe i will start a poll, hands up all the men who would realise the error of there ways and stay with the lady because obviously she loves you so much to go so far as to chop your dick off to prove it? :o

I can't bear to even think about how to vote...

  4. I too am living and working full time in LOS, and yet each morning I open up Thaivisa (alongside the bbc website) to 'lose' my time!

    For me my motivations are pretty much 2 fold;

First, to read George's news reports about whats going on in Thailand - I realise I could get this info from the newspaper, but thaivisa saves me the effort of filtering the interesting news from the nonsense!

Secondly and more importantly for me, as I live with my thai family, and work alongside thai's, my contact with farangs is limited. Thaivisa helps keep me sane - looking at (and laughing at) others with similar experiences, and as a release of my western mindset - the thai's just don't understand me! While I do communicate with friends back in the uk, they don't quite 'get' thailand, whereas the contributers to this forum do. It's purely to be part of a community - a cyber community.

  5. I was pleased when I saw BambinA writing a reply to this topic, as it's one that has made me curious in the past and I was hoping for some thai insight...! I kinda get the process part now, but why...? Why change your name?

I heard of one girl who changed her name to get away from some bad debt in her past, but really just change your name to become luckier???

    TiT I guess... :S

No television. It has a fridge, telephone line and separate kitchen. You should be able to ride a moped, the apartment is at the sea and located 2 kilo's from the white sand beach. Have a look at the area and then decide. Best wishes.

    -----------

Not studied German for a few years, so it's a little confusing to me how it can be at the sea and 2 kilos from the beach, but maybe I missed something?

  7. SYDNEY, Australia (CNN) -- Australia's biggest city, Sydney, has again been named the world's best city by readers of the U.S. magazine Travel and Leisure.

It is the eighth time in 10 years that Sydney, known for its iconic opera house, harbor bridge and stunning beaches, has topped the list.

It was followed by the Thai capital Bangkok in second place, with Italy's Rome and Florence in third and fourth places respectively. The northern Thai city of Chiang Mai made its first appearance in the top 10, placing fifth.

New York ranked sixth, followed by Istanbul in Turkey, Cape Town in South Africa, Oaxaca in Mexico and San Francisco.

Travel and Leisure magazine announced the 2005 results in a variety of categories in New York on Monday. The scores are indexed averages of responses by readers to a questionnaire that asks them to rate destinations, properties and companies relevant to their recent travel.

  8. I don't care much about the food but like the cliqueness specially in the Offshore which has a good atmosphere with lots of regulars who have either been living in LOS or coming to LOS for ages. Pity though that Preston didn't make it to the Premier League :D

I'm still upset about that.... :o
