I had this alot with Amex, so I cancelled it, Visa is alot better but there are still places that insist on the 3% credit card charge.
You can report these stores to the credit card companies, but I reckon the stores will just stop accepting those credit cards then...

Came across this site www.telestunt.ie that offer cheap calls to Thailand from Ireland.
I used their service when I was back in Dublin 3 weeks ago on a sunday from a landline. Quality was good and supposedly the call was the same price as a local call!

Not those cities, but you are very close except for Jakarta!

San Marino is correct, but you didn't need me to tell you that.
Indeed, you left too much info for me, the website and filename!
What about Katmandhu? This is sort of a trick one, it's a Hindu Temple in a different setting..

Sounds good, I'll check it out soon. Any parking???
There's a parking lot behind it, but it's a bit of a construction site still, you can park in the soi's near it or if you treasure your car, best park at J Avenue in Thong Lor 15!

They are open already, but still in the midst of getting ready for the official opening. They are definitely a more upmarket feel, but it's still the same great music! Ground floor is a restaurant & bar feel, Second floor has a pool table and a music jukebox, and the Third floor is a sports bar!

Back home I used Olivio, as it's spreadable straight from the fridge, and tastes closer to butter than margarine. Over here I use Olivio or Bertolli butter, can be found in Villa or Marketplace around Sukhumvit area. And actually sometimes for a fry up I use President.

Ben,
Yes it was Music & Movie lovers, the whole deal I did with them. I was drawn in by the Gallos..

Hi Ben,
The second reason I went for the Onkyo, was for the 'Nettune' feature, so when I finally get my ADSL connection I can get net radio through it, not to mention stream my mp3s! The similar spec Harmon Kardon, looks beautiful, but you need an external box to stream mp3s.
As for the Knolls I remember paying a similar price for them definately not more than 9000 baht (inc. VAT)
Actually I was glad about the lamp warranty of 3 months, as my first lamp dies almost 3 months in, so I got a free replacement!
As for in wall speakers I actually don't have enough wall space for them, my screen is in is surrounded by windows, I have black out blinds, the house is one of these modern contemporary, lets have lots of big windows type houses.
Cheers Ben,
Thairish

When I bought my system I prewired my house for 2 zone audio. Giving me a 5.1 surround Home Theatre and 2 outdoor speakers for the patio. The HT speakers had to be wife friendly so I choose the tiny Anthony Gallo Speakers. The projector I got is a decent lower end one, that I can run at half lamp to preserve lamp life with very little loss in picture quality. Saying that I had to make the room as dark as possible. My setup is listed below, this came in at around 250k baht.
Actually out of curiosity Ben what do you think of these speakers? I'm more a movie watcher than an audiophile type..
Hope this helps..
The setup I have is:

There seems to be one opposite Emporium too, called Pita Pan or something like that, can't tell you if it's any good as I don't like kebabs...
