Considering a 6 month here and 6 in U.K. but not sure what visa my wife would need as she’d want to work?
I realise I need £18600 income to allow her to apply for spousal visa.
She had permanent leave to remain from 2002 but since expired. What would be best, any thoughts?
Not sure we could live 12 months in U.K.

What a result, great work.
I wouldn’t be complaining about losing the tip of my finger after that!

I failed the first attempt simply because it would not accept the correct answer I used even though the staff said it was correct but not for their computer .
I’ve never had to answer any questions. Just colour recognition, reaction, distance and traffic light colour recognition tests.
And watch a terrible 30 minute film.

Beaches and countryside look beautiful. I wonder what it’s like living there, house rental, shops, restaurants etc?

I’ve heard good reviews on Davao for rentals, beaches and restaurants.
Anyone have any comments?

I misread it as
Daily News Online reported that two Thai men came to blows over high-heeled Adidas shoes.
Handbags at dawn!

They focused on intensive investigations and strict enforcement of the law to bring the ringleaders of poaching and trafficking gangs to justice,
Therein lies the problem for Thailand

I wonder how many here that are over 50 are on O-A visas?
It doesn’t (at the moment) affect us on extensions due to marriage or retirement.

All my U.K. state pensions are coded BTN (Bahtnet) and private pensions I send ad hoc via Transferwise to Bangkok bank are coded FTT.
Will BTN be accepted with a letter from DWP U.K. stating I receive 4 weekly pension directly into my Thai bank?
Anyone had any experience of BTN code accepted as foreign transfers with accompanying proof?
-
My U.K. pension goes directly into my Bangkok bank account but has a BTN (bahtnet) code whereas when I send money from private pensions via transferwise the code is FTT (foreign transfer).
I have a letter from DWP stating my pension goes directly into my Thai bank which I hope will suffice.

No reason to think that hospital does not still do knee replacements. Cost will likely have gone up though.
You have a real problem if your insurance will not cover even under 100k total bill. Are you sure you have read the policy correctly? I have never seen one that low.
In Thailand you need at least 1 million baht cover if you will use only government hospitals and 3-5 million for private.
Note that government hospitals usually will not bill insurance. You usually have to pay yourself and get reimbursed. And it can be very difficult to get the necessary form and details from them for an insurance claim.

Thanks Sheryl
AIA paid for my colon cancer operation 2 years ago which was about 160,000 in Srisawan private hospital and a month recovery in pracherak government hospital after I contracted pneumonia, eboli and bronchitis.
They are only offering about 35,000 for a knee operation though, however I’ll get the surgeon/doctor to speak to them.

75% fat?
That is insane.
A keto diet is a very low-carb diet, where the body turns fat into ketones for use as energy. This increases fat burning.
