If you are in the country where the original goods are manufactured it is likely that you are buying over-run or slightly substandard goods.

The hysteria comes from the brand-name owners who don't want to lose 700 or 800% profit.

I lived in Hong Kong and bought Versachi shirts at 3 for 10UKP. They were manufactured on the same production lines. by the smae operators using the same fabrics and accessories so to all intents and purposes they were not fake or copies. The only difference was price 3.33UKP in Honk Kong .... 105.00UKP in UK.

Naturally Versachi claimed they were low quality fakes.

If they were low quality fakes why do they still look almost brand new and crisp after 15 years?

I thought that the brand name was versace !

Interpol, FBI, Boeing or whoever are not being able to explain how the plane vanished for the simple reason that this is a rare case, we have been used to hear airplanes crashes during landing, take-off and taxi or on some altitudes where the plane has time to descend but in this particular case it was at 35k feet high cruising at 900+ km/h, the cabin pressurized at a height where the pressure inside exceeded largely outside. The stock of emergency oxygen supply should have been enough for 450 passengers, this could have contributed to boost fire/explosion, there is also that moving that fast the debris speed would have continued to travel to a certain speed spreading over the sea.

Women looking for love in a foreign country is not new, old women seeking for young and even young women as well is very common, some are even accompagnied by their male compagnion or legitimate husband. Most are not looking for husband or long term relation. As long as it is among consent adults in their privacy and they can afford for it. I cant see where this is disturbing!

The plane vanished completely with no traces. It was itself a big balloon at 35k altitude with much pressure inside exceeding outside, if there was a fire, the stock of oxygen for about 450 passengers in case of emergency depressurisation could have largely contribute to burnt all inflammables. Even the seats are specially made as floaters and of non-flammable material but with the great heat, i think nothing would have resisted. Any bits,pieces and ashes would have dissapeared by the time the first rescue boat reach the spot after 12 hours the boeing dissapeared from the radar screen

I think that malaysian immigration should look how these two entered malaysia and check their landing cards if that card was not available, it means that they have been in transit only, its easy to know then how they went to malaysia, whether by road or plane or any other means

If they had such a plan in their head, they have never use the stolen passports to leave Thailand as they will fear to get caught if the passports are declared stolen and by also the fact that immigration would have asked for the departure card and look for their length of stay in Thailand.

Perhaps a study of these victims would shed some light on as to why they choose this path. Thailand can be harsh on a man who just retired. Some may have sold off everything to come here, only to find it was not for them. Financial problems, loss of self esteem, alcoholism, unrecipricated love...(very heavily on the unreciptricated part). A journey gone wrong....wild expectations of love and happiness.... perhaps a death in the family, or just guilt. I was full of guilt for 15 years after divorcing my wife in the USA and running wild. Did nothing but hit bottom....fortunately, the bottom was full of people who had a safety net. When the urge strikes you....go to a safe place and call somebody. A good night's sleep and a friendly voice can be just enough to make it to the next day. Your perspective may be much better in the morning.

What is going on with spate of suicides of late? I know clinical depression is a killer though it seems to be on a daily basis. So sad for the codger and his family. If you're feeling down anybody, let someone know. In fact all your friends or even on TV. Their is a severe lack of help in Thailand for the I'll. Please reach out you will be surprised how many out here care.

What's waiting back home for a 64 year old guy? Bingo?

I don't know about you but I have family,( Children, grand kids and 5 great grand kids) a home back in Canada plus enjoy fishing, skiing, camping, skidooing 4wheeling etc. Last year when I was a little bored, I undertook a trip up into the NWT and Whitehorse etc. 3 years earlier, I took a drive to the East Coast, Canada along with the USA has much to offer, all you have to do is go out and enjoy it. There are so many thing to do and enjoy I'm over 64 and and still looking for new places to visit and things to see. My bucket list still has a few items in it and hopefully will never empty. There is still Africa and South America to visit and explore.So don't let a number like (64) stop you. Enjoy life, it's yours.
