  1. I currently have a UK address and a UK bank account, the banks in UK are recently clamping down and closing accounts on those who no longer live in the UK. I therefore need to identify a financial outlet to deposit a large amount of capital which I then want interest to be paid into a recognised Thai bank. Does anyone have any suggestions on how/where I can do this?
  2. I will be moving from UK to Thailand in July, will be getting married as soon as possible, also have to daughters . My problem is getting money to my Kasikorn account. I have Wise account. My funds are in Royal London pension and Prudential offshore, both have said they will not pay into Wise or Resolute. They will pay into Monzo, but with Monzo you need a UK address. thanks kevtheblue
  3. I spoke to somebody recently at state pensions department, my question was is the state pension frozen when i leave the uk or my 67 birthday. The person i spoke to wasnt sure but thought it was from my 67 birthday. Also said to inform them before i leave the UK which i thought was a bit strange. Can anybody please confirm is it when you leave UK or 67 birthday. Thanks
  4. At the moment I live in the UK. December 2023 I cashed in my 25% tax free cash from my pension. I sent it to my Thai bank account Shortly I am going to put my home up for sale. I will be sending some of proceeds to my Thai bank account, hopefully before the end of 2024. I will then be looking to move to Thailand. Will I have to pay tax on the money I have sent as a non resident. Would i be better off waiting until July 2025 to make the move thanks kevtheblue
