Duh! Biometrics were (we hope) saved when they scaned them in against the Moroccan passports, and then should be found when they were arrested. Duh!

You’ve probably already used e-passport gates when entering a country – these match the picture in your passport against the face staring into the camera, and read the other information contained in it, such as your nationality.

I'm pretty sure their faces and fingerprints remain the same regardless of which passport they're using, which is kind of the point of biometrics - they should have been flagged and identified immediately as soon as their fingers were scanned.

I'm pretty sure the biometric system compares the biometrics of the person in front of the io with the details on the passport and not searching billions of records on a server every time.

    Thanks J.

    Haven't visited since the pandemic.

Would hate to break any local laws and be excluded from future visits. 😟

I know e-cigs are illegal and maybe also oil vaporisers, but not sure dry herb vaporisers are illegal. However spending money on a vaporiser just to try weed for the first time is a bit of a jump. If you never tried using weed try smoking joints a few times. If you like it then search for a vaporiser that suits you - there are so many types and brands in a wide range of prices.

As for were to use - not allowed in public basically.

We built a house in Buriram, Ampur Phuthaisong about 10 years ago, which the family wants to sell. I designed and build the house but know little about the housing market, nor it seems does my family.

My immediate task is to workout a reasonable price for the house and land, which raises a few questions. Any help answering them is greatly appreciated.

Description: The house sits in an active moo ban with a mix of modern and old style Thai houses, and occasional new construction. It's modern design, ~150 sqm, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a Western kitchen and dining area with a large walk in attic. It sits on elevated poured concrete pilings. There is a separate concrete structure with a Thai style kitchen and dining area. The house sits on 0.77 rai = 1236 sqm.

Looking at local listings (dotproperty.com and ddproperty.com) raises a few questions.

    1. What is the accepted way to calculate house area? The West is pretty strict that only enclosed heated area is considered. Our raised concrete floor area includes the interior rooms and a living balcony under the same roof. Which parts can I count? The listings I've seen aren't clear.

    2. Listings I've seen give a 'base price'. What is a base price?

    Also

    3. It would also be helpful to know how much the cost of construction in say Isaan has gone up in the past 10-12 years.

    4. (Land only) Can the local land office help estimate current land prices, or they only price very low prices for tax purposes?

A few post construction pictures, the first two show the front open area that shares the raised floor and roof. Can I count this? The third shows the separate Thai Kitchen and dining area. Click to zoom.

I think a good starting point will be the land office to get the official valuation of the property. It will probably under the actual market value as it will not take into consideration what you have installed in the house (A/C's, kitchen etc'). You can then compare that to the price you paid for the land and construction.

That's your opinion, which happens to be quite biased, as we know. Others are of the opinion that the real terrorists are on the other side.

Plenty of topics on the same subject.

It's not an opinion. It's a fact. Only terrorists suffocate a 9 month old baby and his 4 years old brother and then trow stones to mutilate their bodies. And if that wasn't enough, they then gathered "civilians" including children to dance on the stage on which they delayed the coffins.

particularly these who have families and Thai kids to support, etc, losing businesses and work time, etc..

If they live and work in Thailand why don't they apply for an extension/permit to stay? Seems like they are either not qualified or prefer to "work the system". For anyone visiting Thailand either for tourism purposes or visiting family member the 60 days VE is more than enough and can be extended by 30 days anyway.

Looks like immigration have egg all over there face on this one did someone snitch him up at least he has supported the local economy for many many years just proves the 90 day report and the TM 30 are not fit for purpose and I bet there are many more like him !

You can say that about any police force anywhere in the world after any crime has been committed. So many fugitives from so many countries somehow managed to get out of their respective countries and come to Thailand, Cambodia, South America or wherever they think they have a good chance of not getting caught.

In Thailand, you must be at least 15 years old to ride a motorbike with an engine of 50cc or less. To ride a motorbike with a larger engine, you must be at least 18 years old

AFAIK Thai laws have not changed yet and a bike licence is a bike licence with no regard to the engine size. Yes, they were talking about making different categories according to size but again - AFAIK nothing changed yet. I'll know for sure next month after I renew my licence.

They way I read this is that the insurance company covering the motorcycle covered the accident of an underage Thai illegally driving the insured motorcycle - or - the insurance company of the owner of the car the under-aged illegal motorcyclist plowed into covered the accident. That's about par for the course here in the LOS.

What's your point? You think the boy should have been left to die without treatment because he was riding without a license?

What killed children are you referring to ?

Not only children. So many of them bodies recovered after October 7th were burnt and mutilated to such an extent they could only be identified by DNA tests.

What's missing in the OP is that Ariel and Kfir were murdered by hands and that their bodies were then mutilated in order for them to appear as if they were killed by bombing, trying to push the blame on the IDF.

There's no bottom for how low these bustards monsters will go. Every time the world thinks they've reached the bottom they dig more and more. They must be eradicated from earth.
