  1. someone before messaged me that I was a now a mod, the guy was just telling me BS though

Why, you don’t want the power to arbitrarily delete member’s posts

It would take him hours just to delete all the shit posts he has put up :D he wouldnt have time to do the other mod duties :D

As for spam, i have been here well over a year and never recieved anything resembling spam via pm or via email :o

  2. brilliant guesthouse,

as now ive got your arse exactly where i want you.

In the interests of peace and harmony I'm going to step down from the argument and offer an olive branch, a hand shake to Terry over the internet. (an E-Handshake :D )

I hope Terry you are able to accept my greetings for what they are, a friendly call to cease personal abuse Please Accept my e-handshake

I have to admit Terry it is not easy to step back like that, so please I hope you have the grace to respond with respect and humility Or Perhaps Respond in Equal Terms.

    Quality mate :D

You sure your guesthouse and not lacoste? :o:D

  3. the £315 on the british airways website is just one way,you go through the booking process and they double it

    £697 inc taxes!!!!!!!

Yeah apologies for that i should have said one way. Your right that does seem expensive, seeing as i only paid £430 return including taxes in June this year. I did book in January so maybe that's why it was cheaper, all i was trying to point out is the fact that £500 was a lot for a ticket bought in Thailand, the ba thing is neither here nor there as the op was asking for Thailand to UK, below is the receipt for the wife and i from June

    Payment Type:*************

    Card Number: *****************

    Payment Total: GBP 861.80

Date / Issued by: 05 Jan 2006 / British Airways, Newcastle, UK

    IATA Number: 91498363

    Fare Details: GBP 664.00 + Tax/Fee/Charge GBP 197.80 = GBP 861.80

  4. Thanks for great replies. This time I am traveling with kids so don't think Nana would be the best choice. Have to concentrate on smthng more family oriented

You might try the Windsor Suites on Sukhumvut Soi 20. Rooms are 2 room suites w/ sofa bed for kids. Very nice pool, breakfast buffet and in your price range. Not the Nana Hotel environment.

I have to say though about the Windsor suites, that they have the rudest most racist staff i have ever come across in any hotel, anywhere in the world :o

I stayed there with my wife, an when we booked in i was asked for an extra 1000 baht to take a Thai girl to my room, which pissed me off and they wouldn't let the charge go until my wife had produced her id card to prove that she was marred to me.

They also openly racially abused a friend of mine, who is of Moroccan decent. Calling him extremely rude names in English by the swimming pool :D

I would never stay there again, bunch of rude ######s :D Ohh the rooms are well past there best as well, very tatty

  5. Fast reply is working Ok. But reply brings up the usual response thingy. Then when you click to write something. It redirects to bkkfighter.com. Admin?

the code displaying the sponsor link caused this problem, i have fixed it now. please test

    Working fine now. Nice one!

Everything back to normal, thanks huski :o

  6. Just to add a note about pulling prices out of hats :o

    Price £315

    Time depart 2215 arrive 1535

    Airport depart Heathrow arrive Bangkok

    Flight BA7312

    Operated By Qantas airways Ltd

Taken from British airways website for travel on the 1st October for 14 days. So like i said before £500 seems like an awful lot of money :D

  7. That does seem pretty expensive, even for the uk. You can get a return for £400 here in the uk, i would expect to pay betweeen £250 and £350 in bangkok. I think you are looking in the wrong place, in fact where have you been looking? I always use a travel agent called pornpin travel outside the old airport, other side of the road in a rank of shops.

Just shop around, and i am sure you will find a better price than that

" i would expect to pay betweeen £250 and £350 in bangkok."

Doesn't help the OP if you just pull prices out of a hat.

If you had read the rest of my post you would see my indication to where he could go to get these tickets. So not pulling prices out of a hat, just in case you missed it i have higlighted it for you.

So rather than make pointless comments why dont you try and contribute something yourself :o

To the op, if you want phone numbers give me a pm and i will try and dig the number out, although i have just packed the house up ready to move, i will make the effort to try and find it :D

  9. We flew with our little lad in June this year, when he was 7 weeks old, and what a great little lad he was, slept the entire flight there and back without waking once :D what a proud and relieved daddy i was. :o

Just follow the advice of other posters about seats and sky cots and book early and double check with the airlines that you have the correct seats.

We flew direct with BA, and i have to admit, that it is the best i have ever been treated on any flight by any airline. Well done BA :D

  10. Try it again. Or click your own link. Seems to be fine.

Well i click quote then reply, and it wont let me put the cursor at the bottom of the post, and everything on the page is underlined, including the previous 10 posts, and all the wording of the site itself

  11. Thanks for the phone call rusty, i know you were just trying to rub it in cause your going on holiday, unfortunately you will never match my phone call to you from the beach, strategically timed for 9am on a Monday morning, i know you really enjoyed listening to the water lapping up against my feet :o and it was better than your call from the airport to rub it in :D

Have a nice time mate, and not too much plane spotting or you could end up being locked up for spying :D

  12. ...hand me the map honey, I will drive and read the map at the same time...just try to fold it so I can see about here... :D

    :o

I have to do that all the time too...

    :D

Same, same. OK i retract my statement from, I trust her 100%, to, i trust her 97.5% :D

My wife doesnt even know what a map is :D
