Mini buses.
I travel the Sukhumvit from Pattaya to Sattahip regularly.
I find the mini buses are selfish and disgraceful; they use the breakdown lanes at speed. Once in the break down lane and the light changes to Red no one can pass to turn left.
They seem to think they have priority on our roads.

Do the exchange at the transport department.
Have the bike inspected and then transfer ownership to your name.
Hand money over.
Expect several hours and don’t forget your documents, passport, Residence Certificate etc.

1. 30 year Lease
2. Do you have a Thai child
3. Usufruct
NOW YOU GO ON...... have you already paid for the house?
You only had to Google owning property in Thailand and the answers are there, possibly too difficult for some.
Lots of people out there wanting your money though, trying to sell you a company, they can see you’re an easy target.

‘I have bought and finished paying for my house in Pattaya’
Who have you paid money too?
You have paid money, what name is the house title in?
Don’t pay anything before your set up.
Steer clear of Company ownership if possible, there are far better options.

Thank You Don, from Mukdahan ...That is a great way to get a bike into Thailand with no tax.
What did Don from Mukdahan quote.
I'm sure we would all like to know.

I have just checked the population of Thailand.......69 million.....
There is suppose to be 240,000 coppers....therefore, if my calculation is correct, there is one copper for every 287, 500 people.
How can laws be enforced with such a small police force???
Wrong calculation.
The maths for the above equals 287.5

Wonder if it was more people breaking the law or more people being checked.

I’ve had a couple of PM’s about the bike I spoke of earlier.
To those of you that would like more information (not NICKMONDO_ A.K.A. Mr. Negative who has no idea how to reply to comments) I have attached a brochure and contact number.

why the <deleted> would you want to buy a pile of crap like that?
I hear what you’re saying, but really don’t you think it is a bit harsh.
I personally have had 3 big bikes hear in Pattaya, a Buell and 2 Ducati’s both with excess of 160HP.
The bike I displayed is of similar appearance.
I am not bothered what the guy rides; he is a biker, that’s cool for me.
BTW, what do you ride?

No, I had a one year licence 17 years ago which expired and was never renewed but that has no bearing on the one that was issued recently.
You probably should not have commented as you are not the norm / your situation is not typical.

That's simply not the case. I have a Non-Immigrant visa and was issued a temporary 2 year licence in Bangkok 2 weeks ago.
Your first licence?

I've had my Fortuner since 2013 now and would like to sell it to buy something different.
Over the years the corners have had some scratches and the paint needs slight repairs - not big areas, the corners only.
Does anyone know of a good panel shop/paint repairer?
I live South Pattaya but don’t mind travelling.

Best place to find out about your situation is to visit the nearest DLT office.
I had a 5 year licence and went from a Non B then to a tourist visa, at the time they would only give me a 1 year licence. I heard a 2 year licence is now issued.

You better get used to it, especially living in Pratumnak.
These buses are trucking in the tourists for mostly the New Nordic buildings.
New Nordic has destroyed Pratumnak, it was the Beverly hills of Pattaya,
now only a sea of Orange.

Glass roof in Thailand ? Must be an SUV-OVEN.
Not true, I have a HRV with glass top which has a rooftop underneath. It's a great idea, the kid's love it.

Here we go again,speculating.
What happened earlier? Any footage?
As far as I'm concerned both at blame.
To king hit someone in a school yard, unacceptable, the poor little girl she was begging. That will stay with her for the rest of her life and all the other students.
It's sad all round.
Two grown men, or should I say grow up men!!

Likewise. I am using the sort that come on the yellow sponge and never had a problem with getting stabbed.
Easy to separate the green pad from the yellow sponge if so desired.
No yellow sponge, it is the green plastic type scourer.

I'm positive it's coming from the scourer, I can remove the steel but there are far too many to get them all.
BTW, thanks for the information attached. I shall give 3M an email to find out what's going on.
