What is really fun is driving out on the country highways after dark. No light on the highway, 1/2 the trucks have no real lights on the back of them, 3 lanes converge into two with no visible warning, people out on their motorbikes with the lights turned off. This article is just stupid. So there are a few monasteries and people in Thailand that don't accept lgbt but the vast majority here could care less including the heads of the monasteries. Yes you have to dress like a monk but other than that it is about meditation and following the rules of the monastery, that is it. The first time in Phi Phi I had to take a long tail. No other boats going there. There were bungalows mostly. I wanted to take a shower and went to the shower area and many girls and guys naked in a circle surrounded by a tarp with a well in the middle and a bucket. It was a shock for me but boy was it nice to see all these naked girls from all over the world and not caring, just bathing. I feel really old now and a little depressed that there is no place left like this, maybe on the earth.

Lock up the small Thai brains and make them even smaller. Good idea. I always say that they should never have let foreigners into Thailand except by strict controls and never let Thais change there culture from the turn of the 19th century. No cars, no radios , or tv's or phones and keep it a pristine culture for the future generations of the world to study like a museum.
