Then there was unsalted crisps with the little blue bag of salt in 'em.
Not the recent (?) revival, but the original from around 1962.

You see that right there ? One thing that really bugs me these days is that we have to "qualify" remarks instead of just saying it ! Now we are conditioned, cant say that, this or the other.

Yup, I grumble about the increase, & it's because I see how Thai people are getting fleeced, by those * deleted* from CP.
700 new 7/11's are coming which will completely dominate the market, & wipe out any competition. People will have no choice but to pay whatever CP decided.

Let's discuss happy times though, otherwise some unmentionable members will turn this into the predictable spite-fest.

I can still remember the taste of malt, fills me with dread even now, at the thought of having a spoonful....must be around 60 years ago!
Cod Liver oil was bearable, somewhat like banging your head against the wall; it's nice when it stops!
School milk in the little bottles.... awesome.
All those memories....☺️
Slightly tearful.
What about when you got sick..? Mum would open the little packet, dissolve the white, strange smelling powder in water, & 5 minutes later I'd be fast asleep.

I went to open an a/c with a few weeks ago, & after the initial "foreigner mai dai" nonsense, & my wife speaking with her, it was deemed ok.
However, I didn't proceed with them as they were generally unhelpful - or maybe just didn't know about the different interest rates.

That sounds as if he is shifting responsibility, on to 'the people', when it was him that promised all Thais vaccinated by the end of the year.

It's like Christmas in reverse....
I think the total price will be rounded up, including Dr/ Nursel Ancillary staff fee, to a nice 6000 baht.
Any advances?
Jokes aside.
Finally it seems as if we can get another vaccine, rather than being maneuvered into Sinovac.

I have had many experiences.
Last week I had 2 nights in hospital, in a private room so my wife was with me all the time.
After my op I was unable to move much coz my back was hurting too much. There was a table by my side about 2 feet away from my bed with my glasses & phone on it. During the night, I heard my glasses fall to the floor. I am certain that neither I or my wife had touched the table.
The next day my wife & I talked about it, & thought it was a bit odd.
Later that day my wife went to 7 & bought a medium size plastic food box & put it on another table on the other side of the room.
While she was having a shower, the box fell off the table, despite it being a long way from the edge.

Diprosone ointment / cream Any alternative to diprosone in Thailand ? It's clearly too expensive and a generic must exist ?

It's Betamethasone & available at most pharmacies for less than that.
