  1. The police it seems have to comfort themselves with a method that almost guarantees failure. Success it seems is predicated on one of the leaders being completely alone. The chances of that happening again one would suspect would be next to nil. Any other intervention will almost certainly spark violence. When the success of an emergency decree is measured by how many luxury hotel managers you can invite in for " questioning ", perhaps there is a reason why Chalerm has to do vaudeville acts in front of the cameras daily. It's entertainment.

    This is indeed the tactics.

It's going to make the leaders stick together and really inconvenience them.

No sloping off for a beer or to see a mistress, lover, school collection, spot of business, nice lunch out.

They don't need to get them arrested now, this is just containment. Frustrates the hell out of the PDRC when the police don't just steam in all guns blazing.!!!

  2. 3 months in and no clear idea at all from the PDRC. Less still from their fanclub.

As it's a slow news day - only 7 rice articles to go at smile.png try a few of the followin.

Who is going to appoint Poodles Council? What will the make up be? all intellects, few working class (sorry stupid i know)

    Will they be vetted,

will they be proposed by others and if so based on what?

Who can propose? can anybody be proposed from anywalk of life?

    Who chooses the proposers?

Who sets the ground rules for who can and can't be included. (yes thaksin out we know,,, but who's in)

Will they be interviewed, background checks?

Will they need a degree? will it be in relevant subjects? will this exclude the majority of the population that cannot afford to buy a degree?

    Who says yes or now.

PDRC said they would have 100 of the seat? Would they just!! Which 100? and do the Dems know?

Are they in for a period of time, all time, as much time as they need or just plain (UNTIL THEY ARE DEPOSED AGAIN)

Will they have to take a vow to anybody, any set of rules etc?

What if during their period in office, they see something obviously not working and need to oppose the direction?

    What will they reform? everything?

Who will be the new police? The PDRC Guards.

This and a thousand questions go totally unanswered and many just slavishly posting troll comments instead of reasoned proposal.

What if, your reasoned proposal is not drastic enough for the Poodles Council? You've lost your vote and have no chance to alter the course of it?

Wake up Thailand. You're walking the musollinni walk of the 1920's

For a person who seems to know all there is to know about everything to do with the current political situation! Maybe you would like to enlighten us all as to what the answers are to the above questions. Then maybe you would like to enlighten us as to what PTP should do if they manage to form the next government after all the votes have been counted? wai2.gif

So, thats once again... "no ideas from you." Well done, I knew none of you knew what you were spouting about.

PT. If they Govern Democratically and bring about real reforms of the system to prevent future coups. I'm happy.

Please ... Have a think now and just have a go at one or two questions. You can ask your friends if you not sure what to say :)

  4. BTW did we already get the names of the five foreign leaders of the PDRC ? Didn't the DSI, CAPO or CMPO promise us that info a while ago?

We got the Indian guy so that leave 4

then the 2 French army guys were pictured, but have gone to ground. A canadian was caught working as security on the march,

Still a bit up in the air, but they have got some foreigners already.

Got a lot more Army and Navy involved, and that is starting to really come out into the open this week.

All in all, they picking them off, and the backers will be getting the shi1ts this week as well.

Slowly slowly. Don't want a big arrest with Tear Gas etc or shooting as this pays into PDRC's desperate hands. We've seen from the leaked list what we knew. Some big business in the Asoke Central area are backing.... BUT. oh happy day, are now seeing their business start to tank!!

Singha were so worried that they made one of their clan change her name, so the pressure does pile on and it does work.

  5. The other paper says it is Chalerm Yoovidhya, father of the absent Ferrari driver and head of the Red Bull empire, not Chaleo.

    Don't

You'll spoil the rant of the day for many people who want to help out Suthep.

Rest assured, people will vote with their wallets over this!! They did enough with Singha to get the airhead to change her name.

So you suggest that 132 LARGE companies, with a lot of knowledge in how to handle a business, and a several million people of all walks that support Suthep are all dumbers ?

You must have a lot of self esteem .

I'm suggeting what most people have been suggesting for years.

There is an elite clique that help each other in any way possible to grab the power back from the voters in anyway they can.

and 7 million people in all walks of life is about half of what PT picked up in votes last election (the one that wasn't blockaded by fascists).

Quite where you plucked the 7 mill from is beyond me, but I'll let it go as it demonstrates your lack of knowledge of democracy and what constituts a preiviliged self serving clique.

  6. Bangkok Post has named a list of companies, accordingly leaked to the media.

I'm surprised that a few of the top departmental stores in Rajaprasong would want to do that. Aren't they shooting their own foot ? Paying the protestors to stage a protest site at your doorstep and frighten away tourists and Thai shoppers ?

This has been a belief of mine for over a month now.

Government leave them there to kill their own business off. If the Government clear them out too quickly and they have their finances intact, they regroup and come back.

I think they want them out there as long as possible. They damage themselves much more this way and don't get the sympathy from the Army as they are not getting tear gassed and bussed off to prison. Yet.

  7. There was the mystery raid down there last month where they raided a smuggling camp.

Where was the follow up from that?

The South is an absolute basket case, and totally corrupt at every turn. Hope some NGO's get serious and get some boots on the ground there soon.

  8. Still plugging away at their final hope of a Coup of some sort.

Just counted and there are TEN threads covering this!.

I think the Authors of the editorial Opinions should be punished for this. Couldn't one of them think to chase down all these armed militia on the streets?

Couldn't one rice scheme expert op ed writer be assigned to counting the sheep at Asoke and Silom anymore. They don't need to be able to count very well to see it is well short of 6 million

  9. Yes, please increase your protests, as I can still sit in traffic another 2 hours per day. 4 hours a day is still not enough.

I wish you guys wold talk before you post

ponl the lst hand you sau you are all stick in traffic because of the massive protests

then some one says that all the protestors have gone home

You Taskin supporters must all be under the Lao spell the Taskin is using to make every one in Thailand see he is the new President

This Thaksin for president nonsense really shows how little you know.

Nobody can discuss the background to this in this country. You'll have to fine independent media outside.

When you read where the allegiencies lay, you're realise this could not be further from the truth. In the meantime, enjoy spouting it. One day, you'll understand the real battle going on here and feel ashamed of your post.

President. Not even Thai;s believe that old chestnut these days.

  10. Loved Blue Nosed Codger's piece.

Nobody knows what they want to replace democracy with, they all leave that to Suthep and have some airy fairy idea that all will be well.

Everybody outside this fantasy tale knows, it can't work. Suthep and Korn fell out on day one. So it's either or with them two.

What can they do? What if Suthep does not like it?

Who next. Thats obvious. Its Sutheps Son/stepson Akanant. So it is the North Korea route. No chance of getting them out without civil war for over 30 years.

Crazy days when they can fill a paper with this guff and all around there are armed Militia supporting a coup and actively pushing the army to do so.

Lucky there is balance. Not on this forum, but there is a lot of media countering this nonsense and Pantip, twitter are really getting their message out as real media read and feed from these media more than twitter.

Many thai's are very alert to the dangers of PDRC. Not in the media, but certainly in the streets where Suthep is facing riducule by photo all day everyday on instagram, twitter and Pantip. One stage was pumping out to ONE person yesterday and we put the pics on here to demostrate what is happening.

Well why don't you go to pantip where all you buddies are and leave us in peace! I liked the bit "Not on this forum" Is you mission to convert the none believers on here, We don't convert so easily, We are able to think for ourselves and see the bullshit that is PTP.

We aren't buying your bullshit, not today not tomorrow not ever. OK.

Thanks for liking my post and suggesting Thaivisa become a one thought forum. Anytakers for a PDRC re-style of ThaiVisa? Thought not, so you in minority again smile.png

No opposing opinions of diversity, just like you want for Thai People. Dream on with that one mate.

I do not waste my time trying to persuade people so far gone on Bluesky propaganda.

Lot of reasoned debate does go on here if we ignore the troll posts. Which is what we usually do with yours.

  12. why not an arresting of a 40 strong armed militia protecting this fascist.

We really need to know how an armed gang can keep this guy in central bangkok when he is down to his last 100 protesters.

Is it army protecting him on behalf of elites?

is it private militia protecting him on behalf of army and therefore elites?

Nobody seems to be worrying that this armed force is operating openly and preventing the Police from doing their job. A job they are doing quite well away from the actual stage areas. I do notice lots of arrests and warrants of straying sheep.

  13. no uniforms = civilians

in uniform = criminal with a badge

So you are suggesting that it would be ok for street thugs to detain anyone, uniform or not, civilian or not...to be interrogated, beaten and then presented for some kink of judgement session with a monk. I wouldn't like to live in your system
Well that's the system that Suthep and his mad monk have in mind.

A lawless, street-thuggery society where people have no voice in the running of their lives.

How long before the disenfranchised are made to wear identifying symbols sewn into their clothing?

Sent from my iPhone using Thaivisa Connect Thailand

    Yes. Right .. stupid post!

Sent from my XT1032 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

This is the story you were denying existed 2 days ago. Suddenly you are not only right up to speed with all events, but you are judge jury and executioner once more on TV posts that disagree with your (Bluesky) views

    .

Luckily the coup appears dead, and the Army now well boxed in after the outing of the hit squad. Prayuth meeting with Police chief so he must be taking it seriously... getting caught that is, not the initial hit one supposes

  14. Could be easily resolved if the Army sent as many people to clear PDRC of the streets as they do to protect them and their coup aspirations.

The PDRC rearguard of 30-50 last night are holding BKK to ransom as the police cannot move them.

Simple. Police touch fascist = fascist sceams COUP, army rush in!!! Can't let it happen and if the cost of this stand off is that democracy prevails, so be it.

Nothing comes free and that includes democracy. Most people in the world have voting rights that were bought with blood of the millions who stood up for Freedom. If Thais. want this Thai way of theirs.... they have to pay for it. Can't have any sympathy as it is the tax payer paying and it is this group in BKK who are trying to overthrow the Government.

  15. Does the army know something we don't as usually they are not too happy about BIB involvement with soldiers.

I love the bit about the supposed mastermind, a Lt. Col, not being reachable by his supervisors. Does this mean he is AWOL, MIA or ML ( Mislaid ) ?

We are very lucky that the pace of internet, IT and CCTV cams has outstripped the Army's ability to work behind the scenes un-noticed. Pantip, twitter and FB have done what the Thai Media are incabable of doing and have widely circutalted thousands of pics every day.

2006 and 2010 it was all "oh, it's a mysterious third hand" or men in black cambodians. This time round, we are seeing it is members of the forces. And some at a very high level indeed. No mystery now and the Popcorn Bag man is next with his mates. Be interesting to see their names and if they are soldiers. They have the names... just waiting for the warrants!!!

Reg. the Lt Colonel this goes right to the top of the pile. These are no rogue conscripts, this is commissioned Officer ranking. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lieutenant_colonel

This has now openly become and armed insurrection and power grab. So many military involved protecting Suthep and protecting those ballot papers last weekend.

5 or 6 years ago, this coup would have succeeded already smile.png

  16. All this yammering about "democracy," "elections," and such is about as vacuous as it could be. In a place where people are prosecuted under an SOE for "gathering" in a group of more than four people, it is impossible to conduct a free, fair, open and true election. So just stop talking about your bogus elections and democracy.

May I remind you that the state of emergency is needed only because Suthep's thugs have:

    - Occupied government buildings.

    - Blocked public roads.

    - Damaged state property.

    - Shot at civilians with their private militia.

    - Prevented people from voting.

    - Seized ballot papers.

    - Caused billions of Baht in damage to the economy.

    And so much more.

If Suthep's thugs and their armed militia didn't threaten the country and prevent society from functioning normally, the state of emergency wouldn't even be needed.

So before you complain about the state of emergency, take a look at who forced it into effect.

Nobody in Bangkok wants a state of emergency, but Suthep's actions make life difficult to impossible for non-lunatics.

Maybe if the lunatics can get off the street, then we can have a free and fair election.

Once more 'Suthep's thugs', if only to keep on stressing that this is not about valid democratic anti-government protesters who from the start got bullied by the government, police, DSI, CAPO and CMPO.

Try to avoid anything reasonable, keep on telling all 'thugs', 'violent', 'armed', 'minority'.

BTW I think millions in Bangkok hardly ever notice the ongoing protests. I think even the PDRC came to realise that the normal Bangkok traffic is much more capable of shutting down the town that any number of protesters could. Assuming we don't get new petrol soaked tire and bamboo walls like in 2010 that is.

Nobody is bullying any normal demonstrators. But shutting down streets and causing financial losses to small businesses is unacceptable. Many shops at JJ Market went bankrupt because of the blockades and many people lost their jobs due to being unable to go to work.

You mean like these bamboo & tires at the PDRC barricades?

    bambootires.jpg

They do look pretty dumb don't they when they make these troll posts without knowing anything about it.

Good thing now is this guy is spending his 2nd night in the clink. Might be having a bit of a think now about spending the next 15 years there.

Hope for a crime re-enactment. They usually end up with the criminal copping a few slaps and boots from the audience. Be nice for his supporters to head out there to see him. Might bump into a lot of people who really hate PDRC...

Well done again for outing the trolls with this pic.

  17. The only blocking one now is Suthep.

The Governemtn have publically called for talks, but they want the full ouster and Poodle Council.

EC talking to the wrong people and they are part of the problem as ever

Pipkins your posts, on average 22 per day, are so inane, inaccurate and deliberately 'misleading' that one has to wonder who you represent? This is sometimes obvious from the construction of your sentences, like you are Thai. If for once you stated the facts it would be appreciated by many TV posters.

Dismiss your tardy post as usual with a google link to the many times Suthep has point blank refused it.

He even blasted it out on Bluesky when the Gov sent a delegation to asoke to talk with him. Your post is absolutly the worst ill informed dross I have seen today.

there are links on here to all Thai media , bloomberg, AU media, India media, most US media.

So, just you in the whole wide world thinks Suthep is prepared to sit down and talk? Well done :)

    https://www.google.co.uk/#q=suthep+refuses+talks

  18. Nice one. Let him rot.

Meanwhile, other media are saying the Police searched his house this morning and arrested a man in possession of a war weapon!

Won't fit the media here's idea of news, but most people who see it are saying <deleted>, throw away the key.

Of course you have a link to that report.

Reported on here. Well done on your most well researched post to date!!!

Meanwhile. They should get used to prison food as they could be in there for a long long long time if the Coup does not happen.

We all know how badly Amnesty Bills go down, so it's not like that is an option is it... Som nam nah!!!
