  1. The delays seem to be with larger amounts. And only sometimes, not all the time. There is that inconsistency.
  2. It can be problematic. My last retirement extension was done in a different province. After 90 days I went to my local office and filed a TM30 which they accepted, but they then refused to accept a 90 day report and told me I had to go back to the previous office to do that. Bizarre. I was leaving the country anyway a month later so didn't bother, but theoretically I'll be up for a 2000 baht fine when I do my renewal, which I will certainly do in the same province this time.
  3. Did you sign the paper at the airport (of which you keep a pink copy) to say that you have agreed to do the Day 5-7 PCR test ?
  4. Ah - broke it up into smaller amounts and it sent instantly. 50,000 baht and higher was stated as 4th Jan, anything lower was in seconds. Tip for the future.
  5. Done a transfer just now, it says it will arrive on Jan 4th into my BKK account ! Why that wasn't instant I don't know, that is 2 business days I think.
  6. Yes. I phoned Kasemrad Sriburin Chiang Rai today which has recently been added to the list. They said I could not come in today because their computer systems were not ready for it. Tomorrow is fine, so I'm going in then, which happens to be Day 7 for me.
  7. Yes, as per my post above, this is the biggest frustration with Wise. Inconsistency. Mostly very fast, but then not, and when you least expect it.
  8. I find from my UK bank to Wise borderless account is pretty fast usually instant. From Wise to my Bangkok Bank account - sometimes frustrating. It is usually instant and you get used to that, but then sometimes you get the dreaded "we need extra time to complete your transfer" or some such message, and it takes a day or two. So whilst I'm happy with their service, consistency could be better.
  9. Indeed, I did the day 5-7 ATK today - which is pointless because I have to do the PCR anyway - and there is nowhere to upload it into the app. Apparently the app will notify me that it it time to do the test and invite me to record it in the app. I'll believe it when I see it. However having scanned in the Thailand pass, perhaps it realises that the ATK is not needed because I fall under the new 2nd PCR test regime.
  10. There is a new document now under the google drive folder listing all the public hospitals. The original document is now dated 29th as well so must have had further updates. Kasemrad Sriburin Chiang Rai is there.
  11. The document has now been updated Hospitals participating in the 2nd RT-PCR testing project 1. All Public Hospitals under Ministry of Public Health 2. Hospitals under the Ministry of Higher Education (All University Hospital) 3. Private hospitals wishing to participate in the 2nd COVID-19 Screening Program (RT-PCR) in Test&Go (Only) participants Designated Private Hospital)
  12. Yes I just saw ! Google Translation: Hospitals participating in the 2nd RT-PCR testing project 1.
  13. I was given no such instruction by the hotel, but I didn't expect to, it was totally obvious what the one night test and go was all about. The hotel reception phoned my negative result to me in the evening so I knew I was OK to check out the following morning.

Crikey, our house is lit up like a Christmas tree all night ! There you go. But I've seen them once or twice scurrying into the house in daytime anyway.
  15. That is great news ! I'll be phoning the numbers given tomorrow to try and book a test for Thursday which is Day 6 for me, counting the day of arrival as Day 0. Hopefully they will confirm that the local hospital does it rather than having to go into Chiang Rai city, but happy to do that if neeed.

Yes, we have them here too. A real nuisance but seemingly impossible to get rid of. Simply open the door to the house to let some fresh air in, and you let them in as well. And they are very hard to catch, too quick. I don't want to hurt them so is a matter of living with them, unless there is a way to discourage them from coming in.
  17. Oddly, it seems to be both. They still gave me the ATK test kit at the airport with instructions on how to do it on Day 6-7 and to upload to MorChana. As well as signing the document agreeing that you will take the PCR. The ATK test is totally redundant now of course with the PCR test requirement.
  18. I did get a pink Test & Go receipt at the airport, and they asked me to scan the QR code for the test centres. At the hotel, they checked that I had that list and had the QR code there if I didn't. No-one asked me to install the MorChana app, but I knew about it and did anyway, and scanned my Thailand Pass into it.
  19. Ah, just spotted this for Chiang Rai from that other page สำนักงานสาธารณสุขจังหวัดเชียงราย – Posts | Facebook
  20. Thanks for the facebook link, it is the same 24th Dec list that has nothing in Chiang Rai province. See here: Corona Virus Disease (COVID-19) (moph.go.th) 1422 is listed as a call-centre number, may be worth a call. Perhaps my wife can ask the Village head - to whom I had to supply passport, vaccination certificates and BKK negative covid result before he would "allow" me to stay at the house. As a tourist, staying in hotels, no doubt the freedom after the 1-day test and go is real. Returning to a residential address in your village, it certainly isn't.
  21. Phone the hospitals and ask. As I mentioned in another thread, there is no hospital listed in the province where we live and the nearest one seems to be 3 hours away. I'll have to try and make some phone calls, or get my wife to, to ask what they expect me to do in that situation.
  22. I'm guessing that there is a lag for Covid to show in PCR tests ? If he was exposed in the last hours of the plane journey from the UK, then merely hours later the PCR test on arrival wasn't able to detect it ? Then over the next 3 days it took hold and he started to show symptoms. I just arrived in CR yesterday, having flown from the UK and did the one night Test and Go. First PCR test is negative but I'm waiting for a few days before seeing my wife and family just to be sure, and taking daily lateral flow tests in the meantime. Last thing I want is to pass it on to them if I was exposed and it didn't show in that first test.
