And now they have to beg the EU to get back a fraction of what they’ve just given up. Booked your ticket to Little England yet?
Now we left we have the chance of some fantastic trade deals with Guatemala el salvador spratly islands chile and other such places wooopy

So all that was needed was a couple of days of breeze. Another storm in a teacup?

Me Too!
If we had married or reproduced with a Viet, we would have a 5 year VISA for $50 with no financials.
But I did specify 'tourists', can't see a single reason for them to come here now.
Is that correct

Why did people ever come to Thailand in the first place?
1. It was cheap. Now it is not.
2. It was friendly. Now it is not.
3. It was a care-free and easy life. Now it is not.
4. It had great weather. Well that hasn't changed at least.
5. It had sensational food. Well the worldwide health fascination has put stead to the fried, salty, greasy Thai rubbish.
6. Some single men loved Pattaya. Look at the place now.
7. It was an exotic and exciting destination. Now even the locals in Merthyr Tydfil have been here.
8. It had world-class beaches. Now covered in garbage.
Now it's overpriced, xenophobic, with awkward immigration and even opening a bank account has become an outrageous rigmarole with more paperwork requirements than getting a mortgage in your home country for an ultra-basic savings account that you'd normally open for a child.
Neighbouring countries should learn a thing or two about how to treat tourists who have money to spend. It seems Vietnam is on the up and up.
It had clean air now it hasn't

Why should any ID by the payer be required? If someone wants to be generous and pay a customers PEA or TOT or water bill so what? Why the ID requirement? What am I missing here?
It's to make life just a little more difficult for ex pats living here it's to make you feel unwelcome because the hate us

Strange but true. It appears that foreigners are no longer alllowed to pay bills at Tesco Lotus. I tried to pay my electric bill as usual today. But if you want to pay bills at Tesco Lotus you now have to show your Thai ID-Card. Passport or drivers license are not accepted. I have a Thai ID-card for foreigenrs, that was not accpeted. They didn't know how to proces it as the pink ID-card doesn't have a chip like the Blue ones for Thai nationals. So Tescolotus doesn't even accept an official ID-card from the Thai government. They did look in their manual to see what to do with a pink ID-card. But seems there was no mention of it. Wonder what the Thai government thinks of that. An official Thai ID-card is not accpeted as proof of ID....
I didn't came as far as paying the Tescolotus credit card. I guess that is now also impossible to do at Tesco Lotus. Do foreigners with a Tesco Lotus credit card now have to pay their credit card at the bank instead of at tesco itself? I wonder.
Any body else with this experience?
Yes happened to me foreigners not welcome at tesco any more do i will shop elsewhere
