I live in Jomtien and in my building we do not have fiber. So I have 3bb VDSL. I usually do a speed test once in a while just to check if everything is fine
To my surprise today the speed inside Thailand was a bit more than 75 mbps compared to 30-32 of last time.
Very happy about this news, and a big thumb up for 3bb
Anybody else experience this speed jump?

Good evening,
the title say it all. What document as a condo Owner are required to submit the Tm30 in Jomtien?
I never did it before, I just back from abroad and want to submit it tomorrow.
Thank you

Viza soda stream also sell gas cylinder. When you buy their machine there is one inside, but you can buy more if you want. Just contact them and they will tell you all the information. For Pattaya at the moment for refill gas you have to send them in Bangkok.
-
I use viza sodastream. Is good for my needs. In Pattaya for exchange the co2 you have to send to them in Bangkok, and than they send you back.

update, I have been to Tmb bank.
The lady in the bank took my phone and answer many questions without even ask me anything.

In Bangkok it seems to come to 70B/bottle, which is already nearly double what I pay (40B). Also your 24 coupons are only valid for one year and I'm not sure that I would use 24 bottles every year.
I dont trust anyone here, big or small.
Sprinkle in Pattaya not work with coupon. 1 bottle is 79 thb. Is more expensive than the local water company, but before I was with one of them and the water of sprinkle test much better. So I am happy like this.
My experience with big bottle company has been as follow:
1 local water company (quality not so good in my opinion, so I started to look for other source)
2 Nestle water (was good and worked with coupon)
3 Sprinkle water taked over nestle operation regarding big bottles and so now I am with them. (Very happy with the quality of the water, not work with coupon in Pattaya)
Ps: they don’t delivery only 1 bottle at the time. 2 to 3 is the minimum, depence where you are. So for a single maybe is not convinient. As for me, I really like them, water even better than the small bottle.

I am in Jomtien, and I use Sprinkle water, I think is good quality. They have a distributor for this area. In Pattaya it's a bit more expensive than Bangkok, but I don't trust the small local company, so it's ok for me.

For Pattaya, please contact our distributor

Was this in Welcome Town or elsewhere ? Not that it would matter actually - since I am only interested in the small size safe - but I could have a look anyway. But they do not answer to enquiries via the web, nor was the telephone number operational yesterday.
Today, I have been in the shop opposite Foodland. And the lady there seems to know what she is talking about. They would as well install the safe - for THB 1'000.--. A good shop.
yes, there is only one Siam secure and is in Welcome Town

They seem to have been gone out of business. At least they are not anymore at Welcome Town (what kind of ghosttown that is - we have been there today). The advertised telephone number does not work either. And if you fill in the contact form on their (still existing) website, you get no feedback.
A pity actually, I liked the idea to split your "valuables" between things you do not need often (like a Chanote or a social security paper) and the rest (to be kept in a safe at home for immediate access).
Does anybody use an alternative ? Cheap and secure Safety Boxes ?
I have been today to enquiry at Siam secure for a safe. Everything up and running. Was open, and all the small size safe are already been taken.

Where is the problem ? I think is a good news. It’s important to have some money ready in case of emergency. I hope they will also make inpatian insurance mandatory. Too many time i read of foreign people that are not able to pay hospital bill.

Hi everybody,
is a couple of day already that my internet connection is slow and unstable (i use 3bb and live in Jomtien, Thappraya road), before everything was ok.
I will like to know if any other member experience the same problem or is just me.
Thank you

You are right the price of rent is going down. With your budget you can select some building that have a nice gym inside.

I've also had the Singapore Noodles at Tuk Com Coffee Club.
I've been to Singapore. Those ain't Singapore noodles.
Cheap enough sure but in my view still poor value.
It's weird that there isn't really good Asean neighbor food in town -- Singapore/Malaysian/Burmese/Cambodian/Vietnamese, etc.
Hoping that new Fusion Bistro place across from the Avenue fills the gap but not really expecting it to.
you are right in the real one the ingredients must be seasoned with curry paste separate from the noodles. I don't think that was the case there.
But the portion was big, in a nice cool enviroment, with excellent service.i don't wake up in the morning and think to have lunch there, but if i hang around tukom can be a good choice. Next time i am in the area I will try another dish at 99 thb.
what you think is good value for a comparable amount? I am always interested in try new place for lunch.
I notice that for lunch because there are less cumstomer, there are usually the better promotion, and since i have children, i prefer to go eat out for lunch when the school is open.
Next in the list will be Marco's on tappraya road.
i don't know about the Fusion Bistro across The Avenue, i will try it in the near future. Thanks for the information.

Coffe club , different location in Pattaya. I tried the one in tukom. Price from the standard menu are high, but they now have a promotion for some Asian food at 99 thb. Tried the Singapore noodles, nice and big portion. Excellent service. For 99 thb is a good addition for lunch.
Wooden box on tappraya road near the court house. For 95 thb you can get a fresh big salad and If you pay more can add many different ingredient. The ceasar salad sauce was fantastic and the salad very fresh. I really like the place

If you are looking for the cheapest option in the Pattaya area you will have to consider Banglamung Public Hospital (Naklua) or Queen Sirikit Hospital (near u-tapao).
You may have to visit and ask about prices as there is very little information online. Language could be a problem.
I don't have any recent information - my wife's daughter had her baby at Banglamung about 5 years ago. The maternity unit there is in a new building, clean, efficient and nice staff (but very little English spoken - so I assume zero Russian).
If I recall correctly, she paid about 20,000 Baht for a package which included regular pre-natal examinations, doctor's attendance at the birth (natural birth - C section or complications would have been extra), 2 days in hospital, and a few post-natal checks. She also paid extra up front for ambulance service.
Of course, price for a foreigner may be more.
In the event, she didn't need the ambulance as my wife and I were with her when she started labour, so we got her to the hospital quickly. Also the labour was so short that the baby arrived well before the doctor - so he wasn't needed.
The doctor had a clinic on Pattaya Klang road, below Big C Extra and on the opposite side, but I'm not sure if the clinic is still there.
I expect there are a few of these clinics in the area, but I don't know where they are - maybe the hospital will recommend one for you.
Best wishes to you both. I hope everything goes well.
if you don't want to spend much, i suggest as well to go to the clinic on Pattaya Klang for all the pre natal chuk up. It is still there, and the doctor work in Banglaumng Hospital, so he can advise you.

I went to try Pulcinella Italian Risto-Pub that has opened in the former Punch & Judy Location the other day
Bought the tortellini with cream. Big portion, tasty and I believe they was home made.
I will try something else in a few days, the menu is big and the price are reasonable in my opinion.
