I would contact the amphur where the child was born and see what can be done. Normally a birth certificate is not easy to change.

But the important thing is that you legitimize the child and that the legitimization is recorded at the amphur.

today my girlfriend went to the amphr and they ask:

copy of dna test

copy of my passport

my name in thai

we provide what they ask, but after they say that everything have to be translated in thai and they need autentification of embassy bangkok (i suspect they refer to thai ministrey of foreing affairs in bangkok)

i also ask a cople of quotation for get the parental right via the court, 1 was 80.000 thb and another 1 was 55.000 still looking if i can find something cheaper.

they actually told me also that since i live in Pattaya we can go to court in Chonburi and not where the baby was born, is it correct?

quick update.

I am the real father of the child.

I use the service of easy DNA Thailand and i am happy to reccomand them.

Next step is to live together with the mom and the child and after have to look how to get parental right.

I actually have 1 year licence that expire on end this month and I will apply for 5 year. So the 5 year just follow the birth date? My birthday is in June. So than is better to make it after that and stay few days without. I understand correct? Thanks a lot

in short this is my story.

in 2013 i meet a thai lady in Europe (never pay she). I was there for a short trip. We stay together some time in april 2013 and after in may.

After that, i never hear about she again since yesterday.

I find she on facebbok and she inform me that actually she live back in thailand, that she have a daughter at the end of 2013 and that she think is mine. She told me that she lost my phone number and she tried to contact me with not succes (possibile since i did not have facebook ecc since yesterday...)

she also send me a lot of picture of the child and i have to admitt that she look like me.

Now i am living in thailand too, but i stay with mu girlfrined for more than 1 year already...

So what you will do if is me?

i am actually thinking to invite are and the child in bangkok and do a paternity test (any suggestion where?) and after that i will decide what to do...

if i do a test and it will show she is my daughter she will become that automatically or not?

for sure i want to take care of she , if is really my daughter but first i also want to know the mother a little bit more since i meet she only maybe 20 days in 2013...

last year i made a contract with 3bb for the Adsl at the speed of 13 mb / 1 mb for 900 thb a month

Now i am looking at the 3bb internet site and i see that the new package come with 15 mb / 1 mb for the same price.

So i will like to switch to that one . I was wondering if anyone here have do that before, and if you think there will be any difference.

Saw that CPALL - the 7/11, Makro group are about to issue some more debentures. Indicative rates are: 4.1% for 5 years, or 3.55% for 2 years. There would be 15% WHT on those.

From an issuer's point of view, it's a nice time to be issuing, with low rates. From an investor's point of view, I don't find Thai bonds particularly attractive at the moment. The rates are a bit better than cash, but at those levels I'll stick with 2.3% - 3% on cash. I bought some CP All bonds a year or so back, and rates were 4%+ for 3 years, so wasn't too bad a lock in, with falling rates. Don't have much appetite to add to them at even lower rates than last time

Actualy i Have a similar problem. I did the 90 day report at The begining of dicember. But i am Now moving to another Condo. Also at the end of february i am traveling abroad for 1 week. Should i inform them of the change of adress Now or should i Just write the new adress in the arrival card at the end of february ?
