why are the Netherlands so flat ?

so they can see visitors coming before dinner time, then lock the door and hide under the table.

    off topic already....

I think generally accepted practice is that labor contracts have to be minimum standard as per Law.

Now, if an employer wishes to create enhanced safe environment on top of that, but the employee does not agree with the reasonable measures introduced to that effect, the employee would be in breach of contract and can be let go.

(if can find the time will seek to underpin with relevant clauses in Thai Law)

Come on its not a joke that the people from Belgium lack intelligence its a fact we Dutch always put out there ????

Like how to drive a Belgium mad, telling them that there are fries in the corner of a round room. ????

trying to remember a joke about the Dutch, but nothing comes to mind ????????

Stupidity rules in some posters. Thinking that the Netherlands has a French speaking part

actually it did, so I’d prefer to think that those you refer to are a bit slow, but only about 400 or 300 years.

in any case, at that time it was already clear that French and Germans, the neighboring countries, were not to be joked about.

therefore emerged the need to create the famous country of Belgium, so  that Dutch and Belgians could be joyfully joking about each others stinginess, beer and fries, and mental oddities ever since and live happily forever after.

(and create the precursor to the EU together with Luxembourg)

I joined the RAF in Jan 64 and within days we all attended the medical centre several times for a needle in the arm, no choice, no information, not even what it was for.

Where would we be if everyone could walk away from their responsibility.

and so you may have participated in a clinical trial, without knowing, if no side effects, good for you !

it is as it is, no need to discuss legalities and freedom issues in such situation at that time.

wish this part was brought out a bit more because all the Covid is just a flu people are only focusing on death rates.

indeed, “long covid” is a huge concern, but not sensational enough for the international press.

Guess we both will wait for the Janssen vaccination ????

    you said :

My point is not an opinion but a fact, Russians and Chinese don't have the same transparency in testing as the European and US vaccine. These are not countries known for their transparency

    “”

absolutely, and are used as influence pawns in political powerplay.

Having said that, since Russians had been working on Ebola and Sars vaccines, it is said they were ahead of the crowd with development.

However, did not find first hand information about clinical trials.

but, apparently, so far so good.

Thing is the studies on the Russian and Chinese vaccine are not on the same level as European and US vaccines. So i don't trust them. (fact that the studies are not on the same level)

    point taken,

and media are not helping creating informed opinion. Having said that, VOX News ( ???? ) did an interesting article

    “”

That gap in efficacy numbers is fueling some people’s perception that the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine isn’t as good. However, scientists say that these numbers can’t be fairly compared to one another. The efficacy levels of the Covid-19 vaccines are specific to the clinical trials that produced them, and those trials were not conducted in the same ways.

In addition, health officials have been emphasizing that the most important numbers — how well the vaccines prevent hospitalizations and deaths — are consistent across the board and are arguably more comparable. Even after these vaccines have begun distribution, researchers are finding that Covid-19 vaccines are doing a remarkable job of keeping people alive.

That’s why the recommendation remains that the best Covid-19 vaccine for the vast majority of people is the first one they can get. “That’s how I think of these vaccines, as basically interchangeable,” said Adalja

    “”

as for an explanation why the efficacies are not comparable the video  offers good information :

    Not Russian or Chinese

     both have pretty good efficacy.

suggest to read up on WHO web site why some vaccine score higher than others on this test (got to do with timing of testing period) and which test results are more relevant than the numbers pushed by certain media.

  8. if one does not believe those small geckos eat bugs, look at the amount of matter not useful after digestion they produce, usually found near or on walls and windowsills.

a TukToo is a different matter, some are about 20 cm long , speckled and look like a dragon. our house TukTo, after hiding under and  behind a cabinet fled for the curtains.

I left window open, one light outside on, a bit away from the window to attract flying nuisances, and inside off.

Next morning TukTo had moved ????

by the way, when going after a gecko, it drops its tail to distract the hunter, be prepared for a wiggling piece of reptile, seemingly alive, falling upon you !

    Good hunting !!

If you want new batteries I think you will have to go to

Aliexpress and order them from China, then there's the problem

not all suppliers will send batteries to Thailand, and they can be expensive,

up North, a local electronics store stocks rechargeable batteries, worth checking out your local shops.

but... standard sizes, so, space permitting, you would likely end up soldering and taping a few standard sizes in series.

(Note: Mail takes several months to arrive now, I have three packages with electronics “ in the mail”.)

p.s. did you check the Led itself ?

Just waiting for @Scott to start another "poll" on when this announcement will "flip flop".

Or is it a "flip flop" from a previous thread, in my olde age I'm loosing track of all this schite!

not a flip-flop at all, Different Ministry.
But in any case, it makes one wonder what Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of the Interior and Tourism Authority has to do with how Ministry of Health handles its job.
The Centralised Leadership of Covid response will surely soon inform the underlings what the roadmap is, so each can focus and get on with his/her real job.

Thank you for your "take" on it.

Jeab is 62 now so not a young one. In her youth and middle age she was a pretty girl but she is still beautiful now and carries herself well.

    only 14 years younger ?

    with 16 I "beat" you there ????
(in my youth, one of my relatives got married to a man 5 years older, they almost were expelled from the family for such disgraceful act.)

That's interesting, what did you put in the contract to secure it ? Thanks !

Usufruct (since the land already had a house) what is noted on the Chanote after the buyer. Usufruct expires after a period or upon passing on, so the company shareholders or the registered owner(s) would benefit.

Depending on the situation and the value of the investment, adding the Mortgage option could work to protect your estate, if you deem that necessary.

My "story" goes back 76 years, so please excuse me if I spend the next three years describing it all to you...

It seems you married one of those young girls of barely fifty if that, same as I did.
(When telling someone in London on the phone I was marrying a young girl I got "you dirty <deleted>" snapped at me, a few minutes later my colleague could not contain his curiosity and enquired about age ???? )
My wife has a few Medals and Honors on her Uniform as well and I think it is cool.
The typical Western mentality questions as to a possible correlation between wages and rewards was answered with "that is different" ????

Good Luck to both of you,
    Stay Happy Together.

They will not transfer to a company which has a large foreigner presence in the shareholdings.

I bought land + house in CM and the rule was :

no foreign shareholding or directors allowed at the moment of purchasing a property.

suggest to protect yourself with an real encumbrance, (I did that) , shareholders agreement, loan to company secured by house, many possibilities.
