They charge my wife and I 37% (Panda and Grab). While I try to keep costs at or below 30%, we are barely making it,
So as a percentage of Revenue:
37 % distribution cost,
30 % CoGS;
then say:
5 % Utilities
7 % repair and maintenance;
6% other costs
8 % rent
34 % salaries
total cost: 37+30+60 = 127 % of revenue
Your regular business should be happy to subsidise Grab et al.
after all they take care of marketing cost.
????
(and charge the buyer for delivery, or don't they?) -

.But most expatriates have been left in the lurch and the embassies/government are doing nothing practical to help.
about 35+ years ago I left my country of Birth.
Since then, not paying taxes there except for deductions on Pension Payments for the last few years.
Considering this, and other than issuing a travel advice a year ago and being helpful organising some repatriation flights, in your opinion, why would an Embassy have to do what? -

We tried that a few times, but without a two Letters and ten Numbers as found on the back of the ID cards, and that the back of the Pink card does not have, the App gives an error message: data entry not correct.- 1

Will be the AZ produced by Siam bioscience which I not much trust. And AZ has only 63% protection and is less effective even with the new variants, UK included. Also they only will start in June so prity sure foreigners will be maybe August-Seprember
For me if Pfizer, Moderna which are both over 90% or even J&J over 70% and that one already proven that UK variant works then I'll just go and pay for any of these
I'd prefer Sputnik.
High efficacy, and cost effective.

why except Ireland ?

In Europe it was and is good practice to use free bed capacity across the border.
However, to have a judgement about such practice, one would need capacity statistics by province and by hospital. -

In other breaking news the Russian vaccine that the Thai government has ordered they are not allowing to use it in Brazil due to the fact of lack of data lack of transparency I was a vaccine therefore Brazil will not use the Russian vaccine the Thai government thinks it’s a great deal so why not Get it TIT
https://www.bbc.com/news/health-55900622
Maybe Thai government uses reliable sources?
Or is BBC not reliable enough in your opinion ?
From the BBC page:
""In a comment published alongside the Lancet paper, Profs Ian Jones and Polly Roy said: "The development of the Sputnik V vaccine has been criticised for unseemly haste, corner cutting, and an absence of transparency.
"But the outcome reported here is clear and the scientific principle of vaccination is demonstrated, which means another vaccine can now join the fight to reduce the incidence of Covid-19".
They pointed out the vaccine had good effect in all age groups, and reduced the seriousness of the disease after one dose.

Despite all the ribald posts, it appears to be an administrative step to consolidate handling and approval of various virus/Covid measures in one place, the Prime Minister's office and not the myriad of state agencies mentioned. It's not like the PM will actually be making the decisions, which will likely still be made by the relevant agencies and approved and communicated from Government House.
good observation !
At least we will be spared the deluge of diverging opinions from a too large number of people wanting to be in charge, and two minutes of media attention.
Common Sense, based on Statistics and Expert opinions, and willingness to take the right decisions should support the efforts to contain and pre-empt outbreaks, and accelerate the inoculation program for the population.- 1

And yet, here it is...

Though I think the media has dumbed it down in this article for layman's consumption to a point that they lost the meaning. Or maybe that's deliberate.
indeed the editor fails to mention that the argument is based on scientific research ....
oh well, interesting assumption. faculties of Chemical Engineering and Mathematics no less.
Recently was in need of some solid statistics regarding Earthquakes, came across a good looking PhD thesis with predictive conclusions concerning earthquake damage.
I then asked a few questions to the Author. the answer was that he did the study to proof that it is possible to handle that much data. Nothing like for studying Earthquakes.
so, as I found out, unfortunately, not all conclusions put forward in studies can a priori be relied on.

I'm pretty sure embassies do not meet the requirements laid down by the Thai government for being a vaccination centre.
These include being a licensed medical facility with the personnel, equipment and facilities to deal with any allergic reactions that can occur, such as anaphylactic shock.
Embassies are not subject to Local Law, but to their Home Country's.

This is sad for the dog, the dead owner must have teased the dog a little too much. But now the dog will fined it easier to kill his next owner. Sad to say he should be put down.
Think it is more likely that the owner did not establish himself as the leader of the pack, and when challenged for that role, did not adequately respond. Leading to a fight for leadership that he lost.
Don't take a dog if you do not understand how the animal clicks.- 1

This thread is about Thailand
So sorry, did not know that it is not good form to compare the, for some upsetting, "Thai Dual Pricing" practice with similar practices in Europe, and even to mention examples.
My bad, I am way to practical and like to look across the borders when forming an opinion.
Won't happen again, will confine myself to my garden and the town where I am staying,
and in the near future shall order my very own tailored horse-blinders on Shopit/Laz-all/Aladdin.- 1

Some things like double pricing are the Thai way an I sometimes think I should simply respect their decision - when I do this I usually see that they have a valid reason for doing something that thought 'racist' or unfair.
That neither is nor was a Thailand only problem.
couple of examples that I distinctly remember, in European countries, now EU:
Airport Coffee 1 pound; but when my local friend went 60p for two.
Ice-cream Vendor: Foreign Tourbus ice-cream 0.60 $ equivalent, for me 0.30
And in holiday destinations, street markets, even for food and other essentials (no supermarkets yet), had discounts for local language speakers.

when these first came out I brought one home from the US. reasonable size apartment, cleaned ok,
only corners could not get into as the contraption is round about 30 or 40 cm across.
basically it goes straight until an obstacle and there turns by some 60 degrees so all floor gets cleaned.
running time, in those early models, not brilliant but enough for about 30 sqm.
great for pet hair, dust and small dirt.
it came with a light beam type barrier to limit where it went.
I suggest to get a “homing” one that returns to base for recharge and connects itself.
basic emptying of dust collected took ten seconds, plus the time to catch the ???? , that goes without saying ????
I liked it ????
