hmmm...how will that work for a 1 week holiday ?
At the moment it’s minimum 30 day travelers only
that will shorten the list of contestants will not be many left to take up the offer when all the demands are published

You can fly to Thailand without a visa in your passport. Thai Elite have said that new members will shortly be approved, so then they will be able to travel, with a letter of authorisation.
Or I suppose embassies could issue the Elite visa but as it's a specific sticker, that wouldn't be easy.
Not at the moment you can’t travel without paperwork Approval from via Thai embassy. The visa exempt route may not be available for some time

If and when the Chinese do come flooding back, will they be required to undergo a 14 day quarantine at their own expense?
No, I didn't think so.
China has plenty of real flooding at the moment most people in China will be effected by it in some way. They may not be the tourist saviour of Thailand for a while

Well after checking out Foodland at Bangkok and Pattaya, i was gutted, no more illusive Guinness trails to follow! The very next day at Suvarnabhumi Airport taking a domestic flight, i went to the food hall to grab a bit of munch and
,,, right in front of me was a bar with a Guinness tap. My wife wont let me go to bars in Thailand but this was an exception, she let me stay for 3 pints before out flight, the joy [emoji39]. Unfortunately tho the barman did not know how to pour a Guinness and my wife had to explain to him, his boss didnt like me getting it topped up either, but there you have it, happy flight delays bothers [emoji16][emoji39]

Guinness must of been good, The post is from 2011

Can you track registered parcels to UK ? It is not possible to track or even get a delivered message for any parcels to Canada and Australia.
Yes no problem tracking

Cant i just tell them that we are going to spend like 4 days in cambodia if we get any struggle to fly?
Why
Why can't you just get a tourist visa
And save yourselves all the hassle

Could be big trouble - don't do it. Not allowed to take Buddha images out of the country.
You can take out as many as you want
As long as you have a permit for each one
1000 baht a permit

You can still get a Multiple Entry Non 'O' via the Embassy in London which can be applied for by post. My guess is that the consulates have abused their power and issued too many ME visas, and have had that privilege taken away. There's no reason why that should have a knock on effect to Savannakhet.

Is there no postal service in your first world country
-
My experience is mail seems to depart from the airport every 10 - 14 days
but it does not always go direct to the UK and may be held at the next airport
Posting in Bangkok the tracking shows it is processed and ready to leave the same day
It is just luck whether there is a flight ready for it or not
when it arrives in the UK it is delivered in 2 - 3 days.
I have had mail take anywhere between 3 - 30 days

Sorry to drag up an old post, but seems like the post has possibly reverted to having the same issues as the beginning of the year.
Is anyone else having any issues sending items to the U.K. once again?
How long have you been waiting this time
-
You extend your permission to stay not the visa
you can get the 30 day extension
check the requirements need photo, copies of passport pages
application form TM7 and 1900 baht

More evidence that possession of a valid visa is not the sacrosanct guarantee that some keep insisting it is... When it comes to foreigners anymore, EVERYTHNG is on the table.
There is a difference between the correct visa
and a valid visa.
A tourist visa is not for someone who is spending most of their time living in Thailand- 1

Doesn’t matter if true or not if what you claim damages their business then you are the one going to court.
if you left a review for the worst hotel stay ever they could could file a lawsuit if you where still in the country when it was posted
