Treat them mean and keep them keen policy is working a treat

My experience is mail seems to depart from the airport every 10 - 14 days
but it does not always go direct to the UK and may be held at the next airport
Posting in Bangkok the tracking shows it is processed and ready to leave the same day
It is just luck whether there is a flight ready for it or not
when it arrives in the UK it is delivered in 2 - 3 days.
I have had mail take anywhere between 3 - 30 days

Sorry to drag up an old post, but seems like the post has possibly reverted to having the same issues as the beginning of the year.
Is anyone else having any issues sending items to the U.K. once again?
How long have you been waiting this time

Strange, nobody asked for anything like that when I married my wife in Sweden.
The OP is in Thailand

You extend your permission to stay not the visa
you can get the 30 day extension
check the requirements need photo, copies of passport pages
application form TM7 and 1900 baht
-
More evidence that possession of a valid visa is not the sacrosanct guarantee that some keep insisting it is... When it comes to foreigners anymore, EVERYTHNG is on the table.
There is a difference between the correct visa
and a valid visa.
A tourist visa is not for someone who is spending most of their time living in Thailand- 1

What airline did you fly with ?

Thanks for all the helpful replies which tell me things I already know.
What I asked was how long it would take to drive from Victory Monument to Ekkamai at 5pm.
I ask because apparently the government are arranging a shuttle bus to do exactly that.
Anybody who decides to take that journey deserves the pleasures it will bring
-
How on earth is this going to reduce traffic at Victory Monument!?
Instead of getting on a Minivan to go to - say - Rayong now a commuter has to get on a Shuttle Bus at VM to get to Morchit, then get in the Minivan.
So instead of the Minivans causing congestion at Victory Monument there will be scores of Shuttle Buses causing congestion there.
I really wonder sometimes at the idiocy of these "planners"!
Patrick
.
Normal people will not go to Victory monument if they Know the vans will not be there
The shuttle busses will benefit people who are local to Victory monument and those who did know that they had moved

Visa on arrival is not for 30 days
are you getting confused with visa exempt
-
How long is your total trip ?
You can extend the tourist visa by 30 days

Interesting chat with local Post Office.....
What are the sizes of the boxes used for the "one box" service ?
A: We dont do that, no hab, you must go BIG office.
Yes, but you are the Thai Post Office too, do you have any information on the one box service offered ?
A: No, must go BIG shop, we not do nothing, not know nothing about that.
Oh the joys of living in Thailand.
I saw those boxes hanging at the wall in a postofficeshop in a mall and asked her how much to ship it to the UK.
You like big box? No that box on the wall is the perfect size, how much to send to the UK? No hab UK sir, cannot do.
Then i gave up and went my way.
How can one work at an international postoffice and not speak english? Thailand only
Where is the international Post office I have only ever seen regular Thailand post branches.

So you've avoided the BTS for years rather than work out how to use it properly.
Like others have said - Rabbit card. Bangkok 101.
No, I know very well how to use it, it is very simple, but if you read my OP, I said I object to queueing up twice for
the one thing, and if possible, I walk, use a bus, or the MRT where you only queue once.
I do not live in Bangkok, so a rabbit card would not suit me, and a lot of times my business is not near BTS stations.
The card lasts for 5 years
the money you have on the card lasts for 18 months from top up
you don't have to live in Thailand never mind Bangkok for the card to suit you
the idea of the card is you do not have to cue

I heard all these kinds of things started going up back when Yingluck transferred 3 trillion to the central bank.. or something
Yes that is why they charge for ATM withdrawal

If you've maintained 800K+ Baht in a Thai bank FX rates are irrelevant.
A Baht is a Baht is a Baht!
The topic is not about savings

Anything that has been sent to me recorded from the UK arrives in Thailand in 5 - 7 days
after that it has taken anything between 1 & 21 days to finally arrive depending where it has to go.
When I was staying in Pattaya the tracking was the full of the page it must of stopped at least 10 times from it left Bangkok.

Please let it be true this time

Your battery is knackered. Get a new one or better still buy a MacBook (I know Apple are a horrible company, but their computers are good). I bought an HP for the wife a few months back, the screen detaches to become a tablet. I regret the purchase and she won't use it. Windows 10 is a shambles, a dreadful operating system. I had to buy her a MacBook.
Windows 10 is a great OS
Some people just do not know how to operate computers

Nobody cares but I hardly believe that someone not even able to check shipping prjce on post website will ever succeed in anything.
Also, it's clear that you will never sell enough ti register any company, open your eyes.
This is what Thai Visa is known and loved for. I would be disappointed if I didn't get at least one answer like this! Haha. Let's talk about Thai women and double pricing next. 555.
You got the truth
If you have no experience selling online you could it difficult especially with clothing.

Lucky for the whales that Thais haven't developed a taste for them. Soon they will be the only "fish" left.
Whales are not fish

Was it only a few years someone claimed "it will never flood in BKK again".
Or did I imagine that ?
You think too much
