  1. She owns it, but couldn't sell it while I am alive during the 20 year lease. After I die does the lease cease to exist or do my next of kin have ownership of it for the remainder of the term. Not too difficult to understand the problem.

Konying my g/f is closer to me than my next of kin but from your comment that would appear to be something you have never experienced.

  2. Although I am English, I receive 2 Pensions from France for the time I worked there 40 years ago.

My pensions have successfully been paid to me in Thailand for the past 7 years and I unwisely decided to switch to another Thai bank for the payments to be made to.

After requests from the 2 pension providers I obtained letters from Bangkok Bank confirming my account with them which I duly sent off.

I have now received further letters from both. The problem is that my knowledge of the French language is now very poor and I do not understand what they now require from me.

Is there a company or person in Pattaya who can help me solve this problem.

  3. I used to successfully join videos together on Windows Live Movie Maker to make longer videos. I was then persuaded to switch to the more up to date Movie Maker which when I downloaded, removed the original Windows Live Movie Maker from my system. Now when merging videos together all I get is the sound with a black screen for the whole video.

I am using Windows 7 on an HP laptop.

Does anyone have any idea how to solve this problem or allow me to revert to my original Windows Live Movie Maker

MH 100h Melon Morph Bluetooth headphone

It features Bluetooth 3.0 connectivity with advanced multipoint, which allows you to connect the MH 100h to two Bluetooth enabled handsets at the same time. You can accept calls from both, placing one on hold to pick up a call from the second. Noise reduction and echo cancellation help preserve audio quality during calls and music playback. The MH 100h is powered by a built-in rechargeable battery that provides 10 hours of music playback and up to 15 hours of talk time on a single 2-hour charge.

Curious, have you tried connecting them with another bluetooth device, like a mobile phone?

Does the box, literature or user manual show a website where you might find device driver updates?

    Hooray!!!!!

I've got it working. Only problem is that it seems to require me to download driver each time I want to use headset but I guess I can live with that.

They work fine with my mobile phone.

I have Logitech a H800 headset. It took me awhile to figure this out and at first I was going to return them cause I could not connect to my Win 7 laptop.

    [...]

By the way, I use the Windows driver and not the one that came with the headset. It was crap! Maybe try uninstalling the driver and trying without it.

Everything went OK and then I got under Listening To Music " Connecting to Bluetooth Service". It never got past here and has now been trying to connect for the last 10 minutes and yes my Headset is switched on.

    Any idesas

What Manufacturer/Model are you trying to use? I'd like to look up the specs and google for issues.

Are you using the software that came with the headset, or just the default Windows Bluetooth driver software?

    Melon Morph -

Try this, power up the headset and turn on your computer's bluetooth. Then right click on the bluetooth icon in your taskbar select Show Bluetooth Devices. If your computer has previously connected to your headset it should be listed there (If not you will have to add your device and I'll get to that later). If your device is listed left click on it. You should be presented with the option to Listen To Music (stereo is good for movies, gaming or you guessed it...music, but the mic does not work at least on my headset) or if your headset has a microphone it will also have the option to Forward VoIP Calls to Handsfree (mono but the mic works). Once connected you will see a green check-mark next to your selection.

Now if after you click on Show Bluetooth Devices and you don't see your headset listed, close that window and turn off your headset. Check your headsets documentation/manual for instructions on how to make it discoverable. After you have enabled discovery right click the bluetooth icon and then click add device. If the headset is successfully discovered and added you may need to go back to Show Bluetooth Devices and select music or handsfree.

    Hope that helps you.

  7. I was not aware that sound could come out of 2 devices at the same time.

I had more respect for you than to state the obvious.

I'll try to remember in future to state the obvious on my postings.

  8. Have tried that but sound still coming from laptop.

When you respond, you really need to state BOTH of the obvious, as in

"Have tried that but sound still coming from laptop and not the headphones."

Otherwise readers may believe that your headphones ARE WORKING. (At least, I thought this)

Try the options that Pakaty suggested.

See if the Bluetooth headphones are showing up under the Bluetooth in the system tray.

Or see if they show up under Start Menu / Control Panel / Devices and Printers < (includes sound devices)

Open the item and see if there are any additional configurations or activation options

  10. The device has loaded OK and also the driver. It's just the sound which continues to come from the laptop.

When I switch sound to my HD Plasma TV I have no problem. I only have one headset.

  11. I find that the cost of transferring the money from the UK is almost irrelevant compared to the differences in the rate of exchange from one day to the next.

I have a sterling account with Bangkok bank into which I transfer money from Nationwide UK. With current interest rates you receive leaving money in my sterling account for a month or so with no interest loses me very little. When I see in the morning that the baht rate has moved to an acceptable level, I go to Bangkok bank, transfer the money into my ATM account and usually it is processed within an hour. Making the transaction at the right time far outweighs whether you are paying ten or twenty pounds for the transfer from the UK.
