What exactly do you need? The UK Embassy and you provide documentation for foreign party which results in a paper that you are free to marry. Thai provides normal paperwork. You both visit a District Office to register marriage.
Do you need help with reception/party? NO
Do you need help obtaining your paperwork (expect you are best qualified for that)? I HAVE MY UK DIVORCE PAPERS BUT WOULD PREFER NOT HAVING TO GO TO EMBASSY IN BANGKOK HENCE LOOKING FOR AGENT WHO MIGHT HANDLE THAT
Do you need help obtaining Thai paperwork? A lawyer might be useful in that case (if a visit to District Office not enough). OK
Are you asking about the actual requirements? Expect UK Embassy will have information available specific to UK. THAT IS AGAIN WHERE A GOOD AGENT WOULD BE HELPFUL
Or do you mean same sex marriage (use of partner?) Do not believe any Thai source would be qualified to advise if that is the case.NO

Can anyone recommend an agent / company in Pattaya that could assist a UK citizen with the necessary arrangements needed to marry my partner of 15 years. I would appreciate it if all the would be amateur comedians on TV could retain their talents to posting on other topics and leave this one alone.

I live in a 60 house gated village in Pattaya. Midway through the financial year 3 homeowners have not yet paid their annual maintenance fee. What action do other villages take to try to obtain these charges. 2 of the houses are actually rented out.

I have just read on the internet that if you register with an email address on a new device it automatically deletes LINE and contacts from the original device. This seems to be what has happened to me.

Can I use the same LINE no. on my IPhone and new IPad

Android? Win 10?
I know very little about tablets - so which is likely to be cheaper and which type would you recommend?

I am looking to get a reasonably priced 10" tablet to use via my home WiFi to chat to people in Thailand and in the UK and also access Facebook, Google, Youtube etc. I do not need it for playing games. Any ideas from any of the TVisa experts out there.

I want to connect my laptop and also an Android box to my computer via the HDMI connection but the TV only has one HDMI slot. Will I need an HDMI splitter and can anyone recommend a suitable one.

I expect Immigration would want a bank statement for the account, which you can request, along with the required letter. Not sure if your branch could print the statement or whether they would have to request it from HQ.
Picked up my certificate this morning from Bangkok Bank and asked the girl if I could get a letter for immigration from the bank based on this account. She said no and if I wanted to use a sterling account I could only use my sterling deposit account which with its low interest rate I have no intention of keeping the equivalent of 800,000 baht in.

Interesting, thanks, I'll pass on this information to my friend.
He requested a book but was advised they only issue certificates now.
I opened a sterling one year a/c @ 0.9% last week at a Pattaya Bangkok bank and was told that they will issue me a certificate not a book in about a week. This is similar to the previous 2 I have opened in the past 12 months. I was wondering if this would be accepted at immigration and how would I show the current balance even if I had withdrawn no money.

They weren't selling it there a year ago. Do you know if they now have it in stock.

I know it has been a problem obtaining them in the past but does anyone know if it is currently available for purchase in Pattaya.

I don’t think Jomtien are currently enforcing that.
800 or 1,600 baht are the usual fines. It’s a maximum of 2,000 baht.
Thanks for info. How will they know if I don't do it.

It is so. But only if your local office want one.
TM.30 is designed to track our whereabouts. So if the hospital report your stay the system shows you at the hospital until a new report is made at the next place you stay.
So as jonclark said, do they really expect me to report to Jomtien immigration within 24 hours of returning to my house after a major operation. And what are the penalties for not doing it.

It is the hospital's responsibility not yours.

Would they do it automatically without me asking them to. It doesn't mention that in the paper.

I have just read in the Bangkok Post that non Thais who leave the address shown on their previous TM30, and stay in a hospital for at least one night must complete a new one for immigration.
I am off on Friday for a major operation at a Bangkok hospital. I have enough anxiety at the moment anyway, Please tell me this is not so.
For expats, spending even one night away from a reported residence, including at a hospital, also requires a new TM30 form to be submitted within 24 hours

Debit and credit card with Bangkok Bank

Thanks all.
I went to my bank yesterday and explained the situation. They have increased my daily/transaction limit and as I am there several days I can make large enough daily payments to cover the cost.
