  1. I was late in reading the new rules regarding blacklisting on overstays..and due to my stupidity have shot myself in the foot over this one...

is there any possible way to get out of this one? can i marry my girlfriend...perhaps give a little monetary gift to a friendly immigration officer..etc?

i really had hopes of making Thailand my home...but now realize I'll be blacklisted at least 1 year...

  2. at the moment 1300 is the minimum ill be taking..ill explore the avenues of volunteering or getting a job possibly teaching English but I don't have the kind of money to open a business... from others readings i had assumed 1300 might get a pretty comfortable lifestyle and after doing cost of living comparisons found the islands are pretty compareable to living on mainland..maybe i was wrong..

the reason I want to move is from all my understanding its affordable paradise..much nicer than my current situation in the rural south in united states

  3. im sure this question gets asked many times but with the current changes to the education visa is there anyway a person can live there indefinitely with education visa renewels still? at the present I cant get retirement visa and not willing to risk marrying a thai woman anytime soon...

if I go to class regularly and apply myself with my studies can I still stay on 1 year extensions with the education visa or does it have a cap?
