I don't blame her as such, but I'm not happy with her sense of entitlement. It just shows how addictive the vape can be. Many seem to be as addicted to vaping every 20seconds as they are having their phone in hand at all times. Not good for their lives at all.

And over 10 years I have never seen a police vehicle that is/has pulled someone over.
The police pulled me over for going through a red light in Bangkok.
It was at a raised railway crossing where the light was before the line, but by the time I got over it I saw a red light 30m ahead. As I felt I was in the middle of the road, and that I couldn't reverse back onto the railway line, I floored it. Police pulled me over a few meters further down the road. I'm always extra vigilant if I drive that way to Bangkok now (near Phaya Thai).

The reason I made some sarcastic posts earlier in this topic is because this is nothing unique to Thailand and yet people are getting so fired up about that video. I've seen lots of carnage on the roads in Thailand myself and some with very large blood smears on the road that were far worse than all the flying metal seen in thisI didn't initially catch your sarcasm, but I rarely see westerners getting any kick out of all the blood and gore. The Thai news on the other hand...
I personally watch videos like this and ones with road rage to remind myself to slow down a bit and take it easy on the roads.

Fun, fun, fun. Everyone commenting got a thrill out of this video. Otherwise just another boring Sunday.A thrill? Seeing random people being taken out is not a thrill. It reinforces how dangerous the roads are here and I feel fortunate that I was not in that mux/ fortuner. I am also glad that 18 wheeler was OK as that could have become really ugly on the other side.

My thoughts exactly. I was devastated to learn the driver in the black car survived.
By not caring in the slightest about him, I cannot wish death upon him. But if he dies, I care not one iota.

As a burger expert in Thailand you should try Nakorn Mu burgers.

When I see a new beer, I buy it, just so I know what it's like. I assume it's the same for you and burgers.

That's a big one. Fortunately all of the innocent ones are okay. I couldn't give a fig about the driver who caused it though. There's simply no excuse for that.

Only the I5 in those pictures has a good grill and lights that don't make the car look electric (and in my opinion cheap).

I was just reading the worst joke ever thread. You may as well put this in there. The word sometimes generally means between 20-50%. I don't need to do a study to call bs on that.

What utter rubbish. What sampling method did they use? They detest normal people so would never speak those because they are 'wrong'. They'd never ask the younger generation because they are also 'wrong'. No doubt they spoke to their friends and probably asked Muslims tourists.

I only get these incessant adverts when using my phone. Unfortunately for me, I prefer using my phone rather than getting the slow laptop out. Many times when the plane advert comes up, I decide to give up and not bother with the forum.

Now this is the type of incident that deserves prison in my opinion. This man is clearly a danger to others and should not be free to roam the streets.

But that doesn't stop them bigots from hijacking said thread by inflaming it with their vitriols. So let's call a spade a spade. (To steal a line from my "sister" Jingthing:) You are a hardcore homophobic bigot ! So try to find your place in an enlightening society if you can. FYI, bigotry will not get you neither here nor there.
It's you who at the first place brought up the idea of sodomy/buggery - which involves a man/woman butthole, so again let's call a spade a spade. What's a vagina and a butthole have in common? They both discharge body waste. Therefore what makes sodomy more "sickening" than vagina-penetrating intercourse? Bigotry, that is.
Just because he doesn't agree with it doesn't make him a homophobe/bigot. I disagree with him, but he has a right to his opinion.

Can't see it beating this from the same company Mr Mos, never seen him, very popular and many covered it
It's definitely catchy. I like it. Out of interest Proton, do you see much violence at the concerts you go to? My Facebook reels seem to show lots of fighting at events like this. Are fights few and far between or quite common from your experience?

I think this song is going to be quite popular for Songkran. Released today. My Thai friends like it a lot, and the pretty lady in the video.

Why are posters defending the two from New Zealand? They should face the maximum consequences for their foolish actions - maximum fines plus maximum jail time plus lifetime bans on ever entering Thailand again.
I don't understand why posters like you have to go to such extremes and wish such hardship on others. By your words, their actions were foolish, that means lacking good sense or judgement. I thought maximum everything would be for intent, not making a bad call.

I'd rather the people deciding their fate have access to all of the CCTV and then decide what happens to them. If they were to charge them, I'd rather see a large fine and send them back to New Zealand. No one was injured and the prisons are already full. What benefit is there of sending them to a Thai jail apart from causing mental and potentially physical suffering to two people who caused pretty much zero damage. Prisons in my opinion should be used to keep dangerous people away from the public, not for revenge.

Kalasin ahead of CM? Got to be joking.
CM just stank of weed and I saw more tourists there than locals (I know I didn't, but that's how it felt). I've been to CM quite a few times over the last decade and agree with Ben Zioner on the changes. I feel like I get to experience more Thai culture in Kalasin and the people have always been very friendly to me there.

Any tourist, wishing to return after a first visit to Thailand needs to get his head examined. Thailand 2024 has very little in common with Thailand 2009 and nothing with Thailand 1980.
So many greater and welcoming places to visit. Even Malaysia has a lot more attraction.
Each to their own I guess. I live here, but I have no intention to go back to Phuket. My most recent trips to Chiang Mai was also disappointing and Mahasarakham quite dreary. I would recommend other areas though like Sam Roi Yot, Bang Saphan, Nan, Kanchanaburi, and Kalasin, to name a few if tourists want something nice and a bit more peaceful.

"He is trying to kill us" one of the guys said in the video to the Thai couple. You can see that they were not being aggressive or looking crazy in the video. They had zero interest in using the gun themselves. Hopefully we will see all the CCTV evidence to show what actually happened. Either way, I bet they will never return to Thailand again.

Any advice on what to do if meeting one of these bears while walking in a national park here?

I don't know much about this kid but he has a great voice and I've liked all of his songs so far.

I've been on a few local flights recently, but I think I'll go back to driving. It would have been cheaper for me on each occasion to just drive and considering the time it takes to get to the airports, leaving room for delays etc then getting to where I want to at the other side is only an extra hour or two. Apparently it's also better for the environment.

I’m sorry but any man that beats up any woman such as this Swiss #2 Coward did should be publicly horse whipped and sent back to Switzerland ASAP. What a worthless human this derelict is. Anyone that defends this coward is cut from the same cloth. Go with him good riddance.
Could you please highlight who has actually defended Swiss #2 or are you trying to create an invisible enemy? Never mind, you got the likes that you wanted.

The yellow one is nice, better than the snowy one. The blue one is too weak, but I guess if you're watching the carbs it's better than nothing.
