It was fine. Maybe could be cheaper but I am happy with the staff and results. Will repeat next year.

It’s just the amount of tests they do....there were other options as far as more or less tests. This included chest X-ray, electrocardiograph, blood work on many things.

Have followed this thread for a while as I live in Kamphaeng Phet but first post. Went today for the “Silver” yearly exam at Sri Nakhon hospital in Nakhon and it went very well, just some B vitamin deficiency so all well. Got the ol’ prostate finger as well (65 years old)...Around 7000bt with first vitamins.
Stopped at Tesco and got some cheddar chunks and saltines that I have so missed.....enjoyed this evening. Maybe not everyone’s cup of tea but I enjoyed!
Hope everyone is well, just trying to share some info.

Is mail from US quarantined when it reaches Thailand? Had one sent on JAN 10 and still waiting. Anyone else had something delivered recently and how long it took?

Boy, you ain't been around.
And by the way, I'm not painting any bad pictures - my wife was a single mother. I am simply saying that I have never known anywhere else with as many single mums. The usual story is that as soon as a girl gets pregnant, the Thai boyfriend legs it.
Mine too Khao...my area is full of single moms(16) then talk to any lady working in a bar, they all have babies with no father, my question is will this ever change? Doubtful

How many keep records of payments, work, and income? How many calculate cost of cars, machines, etc.?
It seems lots of farmers "think" they make a lot of money when they just sold the harvest. And the next time they have to buy for the next season they are reminded that they didn't actually make so much money and/or they spent that money already for "luxury" goods like the new mobile phone and TV.
Had the GF start bookkeeping the expenses for her rice farm on the last crop and opened her eyes. She is harvesting the 2nd crop (after starting bookkeeping) in about a week. The last harvest had a profit of 22,000 for 16 rai. She splits this with her papa who also works the farm every day.
Told her I would give her 11,000 for the 3 months up it took to grow and she could stay home and play with me.......no answer lol

Buying a brand new car,is always the best way to loose money.
They depreciate hugely,as soon as they leave dealers yard.
Ive just bought a 13mth old car, which was repossesed by bank, only 18,000kms,nearly half original sale price.
Still has warranty...why buy new ?
Many people especialy thais, buy new, because they can get low,or no deposit and very low intetest rates.
Are there web sites That list bank repos? I would think there would be quite a few available now.

I was issued an O-A visa from Chicago consulate “valid from” 24 JUN 2019 and “valid until” 23 JUN 2020. I entered Thailand on 6 JUL 2019 with “admitted until” 04 JUL 2020. What would be the date to leave and return to get almost another year out of my O-A? ( if the borders are open!)
