  1. It’s just the amount of tests they do....there were other options as far as more or less tests. This included chest X-ray, electrocardiograph, blood work on many things.

    What's a 'silver' med  exam ?

  3. Have followed this thread for a while as I live in Kamphaeng Phet but first post. Went today for the “Silver” yearly exam at Sri Nakhon hospital in Nakhon and it went very well, just some B vitamin deficiency so all well. Got the ol’ prostate finger as well (65 years old)...Around 7000bt with first vitamins.

Stopped at Tesco and got some cheddar chunks and saltines that I have so missed.....enjoyed this evening. Maybe not everyone’s cup of tea but I enjoyed!

Hope everyone is well, just trying to share some info.

    Boy, you ain't been around.

And by the way, I'm not painting any bad pictures - my wife was a single mother.  I am simply saying that I have never known anywhere else with as many single mums.  The usual story is that as soon as a girl gets pregnant, the Thai boyfriend legs it.

Mine too Khao...my area is full of single moms(16) then talk to any lady working in a bar, they all have babies with no father, my question is will this ever change? Doubtful

Buying a brand new car,is always the best way to loose money.

They depreciate hugely,as soon as they leave dealers yard.

Ive just bought a 13mth old car, which was repossesed by bank, only 18,000kms,nearly half original sale price.

Still has warranty...why buy new ?

Many people especialy thais, buy new, because they can get low,or no deposit and very low intetest rates.

Are there web sites That list bank repos? I would think there would be quite a few available now.
