as my experiance over 20 years of computer maintanace, the best way is just using a brush and a vaccum (and don't need to be so close to the boards, only).
i'd never recommend any blowing methods, as it would just replaces the dust! and it will be settle down somewhere else
vaccum with a brusing (the best is women make up brushes) not only works with dusts but also it would remove stains from grease and smoking.
after removeing dust, you also use some kind of stain removal sprays, something like contact cleaners. this method also cleans the inside of slots (PCI or other slots with tiny holes) andother deeper holes.

Taking copy of ID card and/or writing details in a book – often keeping the ID card till the guest leaves – is normal procedure at many or most hotels. However, as posters above has also mentioned, if you stay at four or five star hotels they may not accept “extra guests”, especially arriving late night. That’s also depending of the size of reception area, if you can walk in unattended, and/or the expected dress code. Some hotels may charge extra for a third person occupying a double room; some don’t care. That might also be depending of the where the hotel is. At some places the hotels will have a night guard by the front door for in-check of temporary guests – bringing two ladies back often not a problem, if the hotel is already gained for extra occupancy of a room – however if you stay in a bungalow resort, they may not check anything at all.
My opinion is that its a good and safe practice for the hotel to take the ID card or details of a temporary guest.
In the end they are helping to protect thier reputation and your safety.
There have been reports over years of men being drugged and robbed or in rare cases even killed and robbed by Girls and Lady Boys in hotel rooms.
This is more likely to happen if the person is a free lancer or street hooker rather than from a proper Bar or Go Go.
Having proof of identity at the hotel also acts as a deterrent against them doing something illegal.
So I actually prefer staying hotels that care enough to check ID of girls as it makes me feel more comfortable.

i don't think checking or holding id cards would be any advantage coz i've seen dolls leave without any notation and i have not faced a phone call from reception, never!

OP: Surely the real reason your asking is it will be your first visit to Thailand & you want a threesome with your friend.
wow what a wonderful analysis!
i visied thailand so many times. in my own trips, i know how to manage my DK, even alone or threesome that was just an easy question regarding "bringing ladies to a double occupied room" but i'm sure people are so curious about your threesome storeis in a different thread

one of the first questions a girl will ask you, "after what your name, how long you stay, where you come form ?"
is "where do u stay" they all will know the joiner fees if any.
Usually its no problem for 3 star an under but a 4-5 star she might suggest a "curtain" /short time hotel
although your answer is quite fantastic! it's certainly irrelevant! please, i don't think people SHOULD and always answer "just for rising their number of posts"!
i just asked for the situation: i book for people, but i don't go and drink with them in bars!!! and i cannot negotiate with their ladies

You are more likely...to get attention...if you DO NOT bring a girl or 2 to your room...
absolutely right! have faced it so many times

This is the only beach on Samui with no buildings and I hope it'll stay this way.
It's about 1 km north of Phang Ka or 1 km south of Taling Ngam.
thanks for info, i'll check this out for sure but do you know what locals call this beach? and is that branching from the road from "IBS fightcases" south of "villa la kosta"?

Hi folks
Just a simple confusion regarding “usual joiner/ extra guest policy” in hotels all around Thailand;
I’ve traveled so many times to Thailand (freelance tour guide) and I know that there are some hotels or guest houses which have extra charge for bringing ladies to the room. But I always got the double room for naughty guys and ask at the reception for the matter, if they charge or there’re free. But I wonder how’s this matter for a double room occupied with two people and bringing a lady as third person. Guys would you please tell me about usual policy about this? I mean. Are there hotels to let bring extra 3rd-guest (a lady) for a double room already occupied with 2 persons?
Thanks

i don't think planktons would be serious to do their jobs near crowded places! that much seems the water poisiong them, than photosintetic issue.
by the way, try to swim a little bit far from the beach, you can also see this in the photo, i've done it so many times; you go further and you'll see and feel a fresh cold water under your feet, no smell, no nothing. why planktons are so courious to patong beach?! i hate those boat and jet skies
