Sunday at mbk they refused to pick up people unless they pay a flat rate. They wanted 200 baht for a trip that cost me 68 baht. To hell given them a raise. It seems to be getting worst and worst. Even when they get a pay rate they will continue doing the same crap.
Hey Mango, those central Bangkok taxi drivers are pro Red Shirt. Your people. Just trying to get a fair share like YL promised them. You should be happy.
That was really a stupid remark to make.

I still don't understand what was the weapon or how did this kid kill both of them. This story sounds like a lot of bullshit with no facts.
-
I wonder how he overpowered both they guy and the girl with no weapon.

Dear TAT if those Tour de France talks don't pan out maybe you can mull hosting the Boston Marathon or the Indy 500. Maybe even Mardi Gras.
How about the Super Bowl.

Will they give each cyclist a wristband so we can monitor them?

Happy Birthday Jatuporn.

I can't stop laughing about this story. Now they want you to pay protection money. You think this is going to increase tourism.

Actually people don't want to accept the fact that the soldiers did it. The reporter Hiro Muramoto was between the red shirts and the Thai military. The Thai military initially claimed to be shooting rubber bullets and tear gas, and only shooting live rounds into the air. However, video footage showed soldiers firing assault rifles in fully automatic fire mode in the direction of protesters. Protest leaders claimed that a number of people were hit by army snipers from nearby buildings. The military later admitted that troops fired live rounds directly at protesters, allegedly shooting only single rounds to protect injured troops retreating from the clashes. Do you really believe the Red Shirts out armed the Thai military? I doubt it unless you include sticks and rocks and burning tires as a match for a M-16.We all know the soldiers did it. Give them a gun and bullets and they when wild shooting anything that moved. The people at the top should be held responsible for his death. Guess who that is.
Actually we DON'T all know the soldiers did it as there is no conclusive proof and neither the RTP nor the DSI can change that.
Perhaps in your mind it is a fixed truth but it certainly is NOT in everybodys mind.
If you KNOW who is responsible then please name the name/names.
If not then IMO which counts in Thailand just the same amount as yours then I reckon it is the guy from Dubai who is responsible.
There are no "facts that the soldiers did it".
The red shirts didn't need to out arm the military. The fact that there were armed protesters was enough for the military to retreat. Can you imagine the number of people that would have been killed if the army had attacked the armed red shirts that night?I understand you are just in denial. You can not accept the facts. My facts are a hell of a lot better than the man in Dubai was responsible.
p.s. This is my last post on this subject. I'm not going to waste my time here. The Army did it no if's and's or buts about it.

I was at the yellow shirt and red shirt protests taking pictures.
It was clear the yellows did not like the reports of the foreign journalists.
They claimed journalists were taking the red side.
I think they blew him away to send a message.
They killed an Italian reporter and others were wounded.
The yellow shirts weren't there when the Japanese reporter or the Italian reporter were shot. The red shirts were there, and they were shooting at the army.
Yellow=Army. It's convenient to group anyone that is not a Thaksin supporter as a Yellow, isn't it!
It's convenient to group anyone that support freedom of speech and the right to vote for your leaders as a Red Shirt, isn't it.

Is a police chief held responsible when a policeman shoots accidentally shoots a by stander while shooting at armed gunmen?
Even more to the point, is a police chief held responsible when a by stander is shot by armed gunmen shooting at police?
They are trying to hold YL responsible for the killing during the protest. So why not the Gerneral.

"A good reform needs to get acceptance and confidence from all sides of people in society. Without widespread support from the public, the reform efforts could fail."
It seems like it will fail because all sides of society are not represented here.

They really need a man in the post. Someone with the balls to shoot first and ask questions later if they enter the White House property.

Jeez, why haven't this so called government paid these farmer the money they promise them.
Here is a wonderful example of why I give Pigeon awards.
13th of September, 2013 - The cabinet approved a total budget of 270 billion baht for the government’s rice pledging scheme and said this will support it to March 2014. The red apologists defended the PTP and said "See, the PTP are keeping there promise and do support the grass roots. I have no need to question why they have not been paid yet because the PTP promised and that is good enough for me" Turns out the PTP lied.
25th of Sept, 2013 - Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra has said the government was not considering further loans because it would have enough money from selling rice from its stocks to fund the scheme." The red apologists defended the PTP and said "See, the PTP are keeping there promise and do support the grass roots. I have no need to question why they have not been paid yet because the PTP promised and that is good enough for me" Turns out the PTP lied.
8th of October – Niwatthamrong Bunsongphaisan said they had secured more funding to meet the costs of the 2013 / 2014 scheme costs. The red apologists defended the PTP and said "See, the PTP are keeping there promise and do support the grass roots. I have no need to question why they have not been paid yet because the PTP promised and that is good enough for me" Turns out the PTP lied.
23rd of Nov, 2013 - The Commerce Ministry stood firm that it had enough budget to subsidize the rice pledging plan which needs a circulating fund of Bt500 billion". The red apologists defended the PTP and said "See, the PTP are keeping there promise and do support the grass roots. I have no need to question why they have not been paid yet because the PTP promised and that is good enough for me" Turns out the PTP lied.
So the ardent defense of the PTP's hollow promises to pay the rice scheme back by the red shirts dates back some time. Not once have the PTP been questioned by the red apologists for not making the payments. ALOT of blaming of everyone else has been fostered for the PTP not paying them. Especially Suthep who was not even in the picture when the PTP lied that they had the money and didn't!
Now we have a daunting debt left by the previous regime that has mostly been paid off by the Junta and we have the above post questioning why it has not been paid off yet. No defending the Junta for paying the majority of the money back. No admittance that the PTP left the crippling debt. Silence now on the "Suthep's fault" argument. They have nothing left, but to attack the Junta now.
I pity them.
But before I do pity them I will offer you the Pigeon award Mango Bob. You deserve it.
Congratulations.
You just rewrote history and left a bit out. But I understand you need to make it look good for your master.
