  1. Connected to my phone (Bluetooth 4) it plays music and sounds good. Can't comment on battery life yet.
  2. Or as a Thai man once said to me ........ my shack is for the wife and kids ..... my gfs only ever see my new car.
  3. 2 weeks or less.
  4. My local coffee shop has one of these and they're great, Marshall Stockwell 2 portable bluetooth speaker with 20hrs playtime. So I thought I'd buy one .......... $220 US on Amazon, 2,200bht ($67) on Lazada. It arrived today, sounds great, looks real. Surely it must be a fake at that price?
  5. I think companies selling holiday insurance should be forced to cover all incidents arising from normal holiday activities. The details of the contract would be irrelevant as all western countries have 'fit for purpose' laws. Having a few drinks and walking around are absolutely the most basic of normal holiday activities.
  6. His Thai gf and her parents are very wealthy. I suspect this will go nowhere!
  7. Make peace, not war! Trump was at least a peaceful man. During his presidency the USA stopped killing foreigners like never before. Trump may well be a criminal, but he wasn't a war criminal.
  8. Gmail works fine for reporting SPAM and unsubscribing.
  9. Plenty of cash machines at KUL, Thai bank cards work fine in them.
  10. Doubt they will be arresting women, but men are always fair game for the authorities to punish.
  11. Unless you were a successful farmer in your home country, you are unlikely to make money farming here. Same advice to anyone in any country, if you didn't make money from it in your home country, etc. Works for almost any business. My woman's family are all unsuccessful Thai farmers.
  12. I don't believe any government should keep secrets, it's not democratic. Let every adult read everything.
  13. But decent brick can be had for 4bht/gm so a considerable difference in price.
  14. I would say yes, as it's normal behaviour when on holiday. And there appears to be no evidence that she was drunk. Falling off a non-existent step is something anyone could do (drunk or not).
  15. Only if you admit to living abroad.
  16. I'm betting I could get a few thousand empty unsealed envelopes postmarked fairly easily.
  17. Would point out men can usually take a few punches to the head, whereas women usually can't.
  18. Any election, where the outcome is reversed by postal votes counted AFTER the in person votes have been counted must be considered suspect IMHO.
  19. Surprised the financing company would pay up front for a non-existent truck. Sounds like some sort of fraud between the importer/dealer and finance company.
  20. Looks like this place to me .......... https://steemit.com/thai/@campingkinteaw/hww2v
  21. https://www.lazada.co.th/products/mousetrap-i3067557725-s11243468489.html I use these, and they work really well, just buy 2-3 and put them down around the areas you see the rats. I just used a crust of bread as bait, and the rat was trapped within 1/2 day. 80bht each.
  22. Not pro-Trump, but .............. If the President of the USA can't view and share their countries secrets it just seems wrong. Surely it's all up to him? If I were president, my defense would be, "They're my secrets to do with what I will"
