Thanks everybody. Looks like a problem on my end if CC/Debit is still available to others. Odd as I have never had a disputed payment.
Have you checked with your bank to make sure your CC/Debit card is authorized for online payments? I remember I had to do something special at the ATM machine before my card could be used for online payments.

Wear socks ALL THE TIME. I am never without them on my feet, and they are baby soft. When I didn't wear them, my feet dried out same as you. ????

Change the locks ASAP. This will ensure he is kept out and you are safe from him locking you out. When you move out, switch the original locks back. I have done that and I even told my landlord because I knew she didn't care. When I moved out, I gave her the keys. That is an honest landlord for you.

ubonjoe. But if he leaves the country 3 days after his non-B expires, wouldn't he be subjected to penalties at the airport? I thought we get 24 hours to leave unless you get a 7-day extension.

Some are probably saying, Those pesky foreigners. Why are they here in Thailand? If they would just leave with the tourists, this would not be a problem.

I get the certificate every year for WP renewal. There is a standard form that all clinics and hospitals use. Just go to any local clinic. Any. They look you over (some clinics take blood, some only confirm your name and address), and within 5 minutes you are walking out with your certificate for about 500bht. I wouldn't worry about it. Hospital probably do more.
Just one more thing. I would request your blood type is writing on it. For some reason, the IO caught it missing as a problem one time. But only one time.

The poster said he likes to RUN. And obviously he prefers running outdoors. I sympathize with that because cardio machines are so boring that I quickly step off them within 15 minutes. Nothing compares to the beautiful outdoors and the view of our world around us while exercising. I like 4MyEgo's comment to wear one around your chin.

Am in Pattaya, so would appreciate it if anyone has a contact in Pattaya that would use nitrogen to zap them off.
Honestly, you don't need to spend money at all for what you have. Skin tags and warts can be removed easily with vinegar (I frequently use apple cider vinegar, if that matters or not). Take a cotton bud, remove it from the stick, then dip it liberally in the vinegar solution. put it over your wart/skin tag and cover it with a water-proof bandage. Do this for 2 days and it will shrivel up and be gone without a scar. Nitrogen doctor treatment will definitely leave a scar. For moles, you cannot do this yourself, you need to see a doctor for laser removal.

SuperRich by far, as others have said. However most SuperRich booths at BTS stations only give out Thai Baht. Go to the Siam station for the SuperRich that will give you USD.

Most ALL temperature sensors available to the public are of no use to you. Cooking thermometers, aircon unit room thermostats, IR thermometers are usually off by +/- 2 deg C. This is an industry that I have worked in for 30 years and I can tell you that anything accurate within 2.0% is going to cost thousands, if not tens of thousands of USD.
Trying to get linear accuracy over a large temperature range is no simple task. It requires complex calibration algorithms that must be calculated for each individual device. That is not going to happen for a 1000 bht unit from Lazada.

OK, I did a quick Google. Between 30,000 and 60,000 people per year DIE of the normal flu virus, despite all our vaccination efforts. Now we have a panic and global financial catastrophe over a virus that has killed far less. Just saying people. This virus will blend in and become a part of the normal death toll of which we have been normalized.

And as the Thailand economy tanks, here we are.

I still haven’t had a cig and the cough is going away...slowly
I know how you feel.
Just want to take the time to congratulate you on you achievement. This was no easy task for you, and you well deserve recognition. Good job! Any smoker, or even any daily drinker, can look up to you. Keep it up!! When I was a teenager, my boss used to say "Quitting smoking is easy, I have done it a dozen times". LOL

My work has shipped epoxies packed in dry ice to other countries all the time. You might consider that.

I only use my bike to cycle to the village barber every few months and usually have to pump up a tyre. There is no comparison to thick car tyres, which rely on a seal, rather than the permeability of an thin inner tube in 30C heat most of the time.
Did people read the wife's reply? It had nothing to do with "how long air has been sitting in the tyres", she blamed the low tires on not using the bike enough. I am surprised at how many smart farangs missed that.
Both car and bike tyres lose air just the same. You will notice it more on bikes because of the smaller amount of air in the tyre. Sorry folks, but air doesn't mysteriously vanish from the tyre for no reason and reappear in an alternate universe. The valve stem seals leak gradually, and the older the valve stem, the more they leak. Also, temperature extremes do play a part in the performance of the seals. Tyres will actually leak more from using them, not from sitting around.

In Penang, Malaysia, taxi business is over 90% Grab now. it is the only thing the locals will use and it is less than half the price of a metered taxi. The standard taxi drivers still refuse to use the meter, and now they sit empty on the sides of the road, complaining and whimpering. A Grab driver pointed them out as we traveled down the road. He also pointed to everyone on the road using Grab. Here is the future of Bangkok if this keeps up.

I thank all for your help but I have since contacted a well known Thai Legal Firm and here is a Snippet of what they said;
"Firstly, it is true that you will need to come to Thailand to sign the will in person before two Thai witnesses.Second;y, please note that "TRUST LAW" is not applicable under Thai law. Kindly be advised that a will drafted under Thai law will be good for the properties located in Thailand. The property(s) located in other jurisdiction should be listed in a will drafted under such country's law.
Unlike in European countries, it is not required that the will drafted under Thai law must be signed before and/ or kept by a notary public", They went on to say"Our service fee for drafting, revising or updating a will starts at 30,000 THB + 7%VAT for one person and 40,000 THB + 7% for husband and wife's will. This varies depending on the complexity of the will. The will will be in both Thai land English language"Well the thing is, the Thai Lawyer who prepared the original Will in Thai and English only charged me 5000baht Total. So who is right?"Firstly, it is true that you will need to come to Thailand to sign the will in person before two Thai witnesses."
No, no and no. I have never heard this before. Please check with another source.

YEP. TRUE
Your Thai WILL is for the assets you have in Thailand. Whatever you have in your home country is different and not included here. Be fearful of Thai lawyer's advice here. They are only looking for your money. Do some Google research and you will see so much how this lawyer did not tell you the truth.
You do NOT need your WILL drafted or signed by a notary republic anywhere or by anyone. Your personal copy is legitimate and legal by anything you write. Just make it in Thai language and signed by 2 witnesses.

Laughable. Most were caught "leaving" Thailand?? So no one caught them coming in? Why would Thailand care if they were leaving? The other stories had nothing to do with the biometric system. They would have been caught anyway.

So just go make a new one, send a copy of the new one to the Thai lawyer.
Exactly. There are a few things that must be in a Thai WIll to make it legal, but being in Thailand for a signature is not one of them. Nor do you need a lawyer to make one. You can make the changes yourself, get the changes translated into Thai, and find a couple of witnesses to sign the new version. Done.

Just got back from a 6 hour drive to Khao Kho with my friend. I can count more than 3 near fatal collisions. None of which would have been my friend's fault. These roads are crazy.

The 3 chemicals listed on the Nyquil bottle are Acetaminophen, Doxylamine succinate, Dextromethorphan HBr. They are all legal in Thailand and I bet you can ask any pharmacy. You will just need to pop 3 pills, instead of one.

Only enough that I am willing to lose. Usually about 2,000bht and one ATM card. I can't think of a night out that I would need more.

I saw some recent documentaries on TV saying that plastic is now in everything seafood we eat. We are ingesting it.
I also saw another TV show saying that 80% of the recycled items we segregate every week for trash pickup (in the U.S.) is not recycled. It is sold overseas by distributors who eventually dump it.

However, I think that one problem will arise when people get hit by a sudden downpour, and their paper bags disintegrate and dump their shopping over the road/pavement. (OK - before someone gets in first - get a a canvas bag!)
I grew up in a generation that didn't have plastic bags. Paper worked just fine. No handles on the bags, we carried them with both hands. I don't recall anyone complaining.

They gave me a new WP and canceled the old one all on the same day. The non-B didn't change. Extension of stay still expired the same. They made the WP expire at the same time as the extension of stay. New company renewed both on the expiration date.
