  1. The local authorities should set aside an area for them to build their rockets , with some input from the military , perhaps in decades to come they could become the HUB of space travel.coffee1.gif

Do you actually think a 'local authority' should be encouraging home made rockets at all, in this day and age? Well, forget the latter, sorry, it doesn't apply to Thailand.

But really, these things should be professionally manufactured, and sold available in various sizes to meet customer demand. OUT OF each thousand made, there could be an explodable dud, which goes where it wants and explodes where it wants, placed and sold amongst the thousand at random - that's the gamble. ... giggle.gif

  2. The only anti-foreign rethoric, nay, action, that has happened related to the protests was the government attempt to deport Satit Segal for speaking against corruption on a stage and threatening all foreigners with the same if they joined the protests.

Which is ironic seeing as Robert Amsterdam was apparently speaking on stage at the red shirt rally yesterday, so guess one must enquire as to what CAPO is gong to do about it ?....arrest him/deport him, at the very least we should expect condemnation from TV rabid reds same as they did with the indian

I agree. Mr. Sathit Segal (former chairman of the Thai-Indian Business Forum) did not talk about politics at the anti-government stage, neither said names or disrespect anyone; he just said that Thailand would have a better future without corruption. On the other side, Mr Amsterdam is defaming Royal Thai Institutions and adding high-octane fuel to the conflict, and that's precisely what the TV Red Shirt lovers like!

Absolutely, and the kinds of messages is he sending apparently mirroring images for the rest of us is a component that concerns me!

  3. And which reincarnation/alter-ego of the usual rabid reds are you ?.....Rich Teacher, Fab 4, Moonao, devaram ?

None, I am a normal person asking what the hell are you on, what can you be thinking. Its a simple observation, well simple for most except for some of the morons who get to post on here.

Some of the morons who get to post on here? Really? Got any figures or percentages?

After six posts, you seem to know a lot... maybe an experienced poster here are you? Did you insult the king, or yourself in useless diatribe, to get banned?

So as Peely asked... which re-incarnation are you?

In addition, anybody who describes themselves as normal... is abnormal..... as we all know we have bad traits, in one way or another, or at least the normal amongst us do.... that is a psychological fact!

So in rhetoric, what is it you are on, and what are you thinking, in response, in order to MAKE simple observations about this site? You quite obviously have wanted to fragment, in order to disguise yourself... yet again.

NO NEED to address experienced members with the words "what the hell are you on" also.. really... you won't make friends too quickly. wink.png

I know a lot, and learnt most of it in places other than this forum. Experienced member get of your high horse. Experienced at what exactly?

At posting on forums, without provocation perhaps?

Of course, none of us have learnt anything else, elsewhere, have we?

By then, the army will be armed........ and here we go again..... but this time no Shin Corp at the top. And that is the complete difference!

  6. " 50 out of 68 countries surveyed have notified their citizens of the ongoing protests in and outside Bangkok following the Constitutional Court's ruling to remove Ms Yingluck Shinawatra from her office on charges in connection with the transfer of former National Security Council (NSC) chief Thawil Pliensri..."

Seems they missed the goal-post by a fair margin, for the reason given! bah.gif

  7. Who actually is running CAPO now? Any ideas? Or is the medicine man still in a dubious state of inebriation that he's hallucinating he's still the big boss?

We have an interim elected caretaker primeminister, illegally - as he wasn't even an MP when placed, although that seems not to matter because he is the niece's nephew's second cousin's uncle's brother's son of Thaksin, so all's ok then.

Back to CAPO.. who's the big boss?

Darned... I forgot... he still lives in Dubai. w00t.gif

  8. "The army announced it would transport weapons and armaments including artillery and tanks from Khok Krathiam station in Lop Buri province to Bangkok for use in annual military field exercises."

Any fields in Bangkok anybody know of? giggle.gif

Oh! and.. "All soldiers sent to guard venues with Capo police are unarmed..."

Wut? An unarmed army? The reds will love that one! whistling.gif

  9. You may find that Thaksin has screwed the country over one time too many

If you read books penned by his opponents, i.e. the eunuch Mark Abhisit

Lol, no - as told to me by my family and friends - most of whom voted PTP last time, but will not this time

Oh, so will they be voting for Lung Gamnam's anti-democratic <deleted> party?

Whatever is bearing down upon you, please......... see both sides, and not your only blind way to choose a path.

a famous tibetan proverb apparently cheesy.gif says see 2 eyes in the woods and it is a tiger ready to eat you ( I forget the poster ),,, but what if it was a one eyed snake is apparent enough. wink.png.. cool ID name though..... do you have an infactuation with bears?

  10. If it takes a civil war for the majority of the population to retain their civil rights then so be it.

Having been in a country where there was a military takeover (where I lost relatives) and having lost civilian relatives in a civil war in another SE Asian country I must admit that I am not keen to lose anymore relatives. In both of these SE Asian countries civil rights have not been restored to the level that currently exist in Thailand. So please excuse me for not sharing your enthusiasm.
I dont think anyone is enthusiastic about a war including the red shirts but what do you expect them to do when their rights are taken away by the elites? Should they try to arrange talks? Should they meekly go home and accept being enslaved again. Accept abysmal wages again? Accept no health insurance again?

Maybe they should revist merits at the local wat, and band wagon karma? Instead of bandwagoning violence and burning and killing???

Your context is totally distorted.. but then again maybe so your debt to the red family you bought into?

  11. 1.25km is the length of the road from the stage to the park. It's not the full road length, it doesn't cover the east section of this road. The photos do cover the section of road.

    attachicon.giflength-of-aksa.jpg

    I made it 2.6 x 500m minus a bit for the stage, say 50m, = 1.25km.

    Hence 1.25km * 25+20 *4 = 225000

Okay, I'll give you credit for your honesty. The map is an accurate portrayal of the road. I'll even give some credit to the UDDers this time. Apparently, they have let the left hand service road remain more or less open--so people can get into their moobahns. They blocked them from their homes last time. But that also means the crowd is not as wide across the road as last time.

I'm wealthy, I'm old, I should be 'elite' or 'democrat', and yet I voted for PT. They have popular policies that spread the wealth, and expand the economy

Being wealthy and old...... but did you grow wise along the path? Spread the wealth my anus.

  12. " The Red Shirts cannot accept the undemocratic and unconstitutional appointment of a prime minister," said chairman Jatuporn Prompan "

Then it's clear from this that he can't accept who Pheu Thai has chosen out of half a cabinet, for that was not through constitutional means. If Jatuporn is really serious about the constitution ( and he isn't ) he should know that a prime minister can only be constitutionally elected through a quorum-filled parliament, or through the Senate in the event of a quorum-less parliament. That's it, Jatuporn. Period. And Jatuporn is opposed to the later option taking effect, even though it is within the bounds of the constitution. The second thing is - isn't calling for a civil war throughout the country a breach of his bail conditions ?

Latter question...? I just quoted the same thing... The powers that be need to latch onto this, and close him off for once and for all.

Loose canon? Jatuporn? He's beyond that,... he is a threat to the whole Thai establishment in his total lack of political knowldege. He sees an image/ an icon, and he believes it as long as it lines his pockets.... He is not a politician... he is a war mongering red shirt, with no agenda apart from enjoying to bring it on.

However, he's gone too far now.. So let's hope those with some logic at the top take advantage of his thick innuendos which are indeed a breach of his current bail conditions! Good riddance, if anybody at the top can really see the light shining on this poor example of a Thai human being. angry.png.pagespeed.ce.Cla6z9sEn6.png

  13. Holding aloft portraits of Yingluck, the red-clad movement said it would keep up the protest for as long as it deemed necessary to defend the wounded administration.

"The Red Shirts cannot accept the undemocratic and unconstitutional appointment of a prime minister," said chairman Jatuporn Prompan, denouncing a call by the opposition for judges, the Senate president and other prominent figures to choose a new premier.

"It would be the beginning of a disaster for the country that will lead to civil war," he said.

    --------------

Jatuporn should be arrested immediately for breach of bail conditions! He is also 'inciting' war, and that is a threat to National Security - another arrestable warrant should be carried as an indictment for that alone.

"for as long as it deemed necessary to defend the wounded administration."

The admin is not wounded, it is no longer and has been removed - full stop/period.. wounded not all... "It has ceased to be. This parrot is dead!"

Unbelievable statements from the red idiot.. and he should be locked up right now.... before he really incites fighting at the street level...!!

  14. ... Budgetary expenditures are lavished on Bkk way out of proportion to its population and share. of GDP. All other regions including the Central plains foot the bill for this disparity. But the inequality is worst of all in the Northeast and is reflected in measures of healthcare, education, housing etc. Inevitably low government spending on their education and healthcare results in low income in a vicious circle that no Central govt will ever bother to address properly.

I do not see any investment in their long term future, just a volley of self serving behaviour from his supporters and lots of pigs at the trough.

That is an incredibly separatist/divisionist comment to finish with, after a fair introduction of events.

There is greater investment, or has been should I say, into "Thaksin of the North lands" than any other areas, namely the South (including Thai, not only Muslim) and any other areas were there is a majority of (c.f. yellow shirts) anti-PTP action.

They've had plenty of investment in the North, but of course all of it never arrived at its destination and was returned to the investor, once the icing on the cake had been invested and the fruity part disappeared back to the chef!!

  15. most of the Thais I know in Chiang Mai even the ones who have restaurants do not care for their business as they are loud and obnoxious

Agreed. Most of what I hear is that Thais do not care for Chinese much, especially in eating establishments where the cough, score phlegm, and yok it on the floor, and chew voraciously at 120Db. And it's quite true,,,, Chinese trait, tried to be hidden during the Beijing Olympics, but now back in full flight.

I have a Chinese neighbour, and when his doors are open, he sure lets us know when he's eating... it's gross! xsick.gif.pagespeed.ic.tVTSNn-2vr.png
