Problem solved. Cause lay in the portable apps application, for somereason didnt like the drive. The light version works, so i will try full version again.

Its a lexar 2gb. Came preloaded with google package which would not delete, which is why i formatted.

Can use it to transfer files no probs, so perhaps the problem is with 'portable apps'??

Now trying to install 'portable apps' which asks to install to root directory, but now there aint one. Tried just installing to new folder, but wont work.

This morning there was a stage set up, trucks everywhere, and what looked like movie production vehicles filling up Tha Pae Square.

Not sure if theres a connection... any idea as to what activity is what and if they related??

Yeah, its a pitty. With everyone so keen on dj'ing these days, you'd think they could be a little more adventurous than hip-hop. When horizon first opened, their dj threw in an hour of really good techno, and even some old classics... but last time i was there it was all hip-hop.
