Are you joking. Thai travelers are the worst with their cell telephones and talk loudy as hell. They don't care about anybody, naiv like a 1 year old child, shout as hell. Specially when you take a bus in Thailand. THAI TRAVELLERS ARE 100 % DISTURBING ALWAYS. I am tired of it. This is the only reason I am going to leave this country. And you can have a nice trip and sit down with Thai.

What about over Hat Yai. I usually do that trip on my way to KL.

Hi, I am one of the looser after the new rules for the retirement visa.

I hope UBONJOE read my topic. He knows very much about what I am asking for.

8 years I've been in Thailand with my retired visa with an 800 000 THB in the bank account.

Now they change the rules and I have to transfer to a Thai Bank from Sweden 65000 THB every month.

I don't have that income. I am 80 + and I survive on 30000 THB monthly because I can't drink alcohol and can't make a lady happy. So I pay my rent and eat a little every day and drink water and look at the birds.

My question is after I leave Thailand when I come back as a tourist how long time maximum a year can I stay in Thailand????  Do they give me 3 months visa the first time? After that if I go to Malaysia and come back again , Do I get 1 month more visa and how many times I can do that ? 

Or shall I go to Malaysia or Vietnam for 3 months and come back again or maybe Philippines .

The problem is I can't stay in cold in Scandinavia. I have less pain when the temperature is round 30 degrees.

I forgot to tell you the smelling from the garbage and burnings and pollution from the streets. There is nothing positive at all. 

Koh Samui was very nice 30 years ago. It was a PARADISE. 

Worst place I have been. I travelled round the island and changed hotel 20 times. RESULT....  I couldn't find any clean beach to swim ( garbage floating everywhere )  and food wasn't good and expensive,   and I didn't have any nice sleep without any noise in any hotel,   and I have been to a hairdresser, I looked terrible in the evening in the evening, my hair was different seizes everywhere ,,, I had to leave koh samui , left for the main land. First thing I had to go to a hairdresser and cut off all my hair.  

I've been round the world to 80 countries and never ever been in this situation before. Hair dresser had on her wall hanging 4 diplomas. You give me 1 million US , I don't go to Koh Samui. Punkt och Slut . in Swedish.

I am here with a retired visa yearly. I don't know more.

This guy is also retired but wants to stay here about 6 months maybe 8 months.

I know he can get 1 month when he arrive from Europe ,

And he can make it to 3 months if he leaves the country and come back,

But can he make it longer ?

What does he need to do ?

We are getting older and get more health problems which gives more pain often.

I fell down badly at home for 2 months ago.  I have been to 4 hospitals , they did what they could, they missed what they couldn't.

At the end I am out with a lots of pain. First injections for pain afterwards the pain tablets.

When I check in the internet, it writes, this pain always disappear with the time, sometimes after a month, sometimes after a year or up to 5 , 6 years.

  But I am not going to live so long time and these years are maybe the last years of my life.

It is not nice to live with pain and use wheel chair sometimes because of that.

So I have heard that they sell electric massage machines for pain and it helps.

If you have bought one in a shop, where did you do it ?

I live in Nakhon Si Thammarat and I hope I can buy it in a shop here.

They do sell them in ALIBABA but they want to keep your credit card information, no good for security.

These are the children to the women who earn money on foreigners in Pattaya. Nearly every Thai women earn money on tourists even if they have another job or they are married but of course not everybody. There are some woman do everything for their children and have time for them also but they are not many. I think this is something to do with what they believe on. For ex. Boudism or other demons.

This is not a tlger of the year, this is a year of monkey. And it is no meaning to go to a Chinese temple or Budha temple as far as you don't want to become a slave to a demon after this life and born again and burn again infinitive and stay in hell forever with your best friends but the pain is awful and forever. you shall never ever feel the happiness again.

Yes of course something wrong and very wrong. They have to earn money from you however, not telling you the truth , no lies but they don't tell you everything. I have CIMB visa card. They told me there is no fee if I use the card in Malaysia or Indonesia or Taiwan etc. But the exchange rate was 3,5 % higher then every other exchange office. That makes I loos 3500 THB for every 100 000 THB exchange. You lose most but no fee.

This bank only for just keep some money there , for ex. 800 000 for immigration. Rest of it can you try SCB for example. Another thing, they tell you that , no tax on interest but you show them the book , taxes is written there. They just look at you , big eyes, no answer. They don't accept that they don't tell you the truth. Thai style.Try to visit a doctor or dentist, if they do something wrong, see what happens. I don't blame them. I can be wrong many times but I accept and apologize. I am just a human being.

And if I send my pension to a Thai Bank from a Swedish Bank , I get 3,57 THB for a SEK... ( 3 satang lower )

And ordinary Bank Exchange in Thailand, they give you 3,48 THB for a SEK. ( 12 satang lower )

Because of the decision from ECB.

So what are we going to expect ?

1 US$ = 1 Euro ,,,, maybe.

We can not live like Thai people do. They survive with 50 THB a day.

Go back to Sweden and go to a Swedish hospital when you are ill is worst. It happened to me once because of a kidney stone. Never again. Bad nurses , bad doctors, when you need them , push the button but nobody show up.

It was terrible . And because you are old nobody care much. That's their policy. They want to get rid of you , They don't want to pay more pension.

Here when you had some money , than you go to a private hospital. It's wonderful. You get respect with your money.

But now that possibility has disappeared .

Probably I move to BKK to a 15th floor building. To an small apartment , maybe 3000 a month.

That kind of apartments has very easy solutions, these are free solutions and they are very effective and they never miss.. You read about it often in the news. It's very common and popular solutions.

You have what you've done all your life. Actually there is not much to do more, you can't live to become 90.

Probably it's time to move now.

We'll see what shall it bring at the new place.

Maybe you born in another place there they are already fighting with each other and your mother try to protect you from them ... Ohhh my son....

If you knew how to get a job at Thai airways. Than you understand the situation.

I can not tell you how to get a job there because they kill me if it comes out.

That is only the people know who asked for a job there, They are Thais of course, ordinary people who are without a job and full qualified for the job. They know it.

About the sound from a temple.

I lived near a Buddhist temple a while ago. That time 1 hole week they had very high " music" torture sound with low frequency sound, EVERY NIGHT UNTIL 4 O'CLOCK IN THE MORNING, FROM 7 O'CLOCK IN THE EVENING. When I asked why is that , they told me the temple has to earn some money, that's why they rent it out.

to fxe1200 , this should be forbidden by law.

in a Buddha temple , 10-15 hertz frequency sound, where the America use this in war to hammer the enemies heads and give them pain at nights at the war front..... This should be forbidden by law... Not to call muslims to pray 5 times a day 3-4 minutes each time from a Mosque.

Of course I had to leave my house near the Buddha temple and moved away. And never want to go to near a Buddha temple again.

That's my experience.

I had an terrible op. the same kind , to take away the stones at Bangkok Phuket Hospital on Phuket Island which cost me over 120 thousand baht. They had an VERY old equipment. I get the stones back also in a plastic bag.. I stayed 3 days in the hospital, I had very bad pain, I was bleeding over a week, and I had troubles and problems about a year after this op. until I became normal again. I felt like there was no doctors but vet. Doctors did not even speak English. Never forget this rest of my life.

If I have a problem with something I always go abroad, anywhere is better and CHEAPER, you name it, Singapore, Malaysia etc.

That was my experience of the number one private hospital in Thailand.

1- If you multiply 3,86 with 1,32, you get 5,09 . That means 3,86 has to go up 32 % to reach 5,09.

25 % it's down, but it's another way of looking at it.

2- Ok, that is not correct, but what does it matter 10 months or 4 months ago, it's going down that's the most important. Maybe that's why I got so many answers.

When you are young weeks days hours are important, but now it doesn't matter so much.

3- There are separate houses near the beach of Koh Lanta and many other nice places, Quite and fresh air but expensive. If you prefer big city ok for you. But everybody can not live in a big city.

Probably my life will end soon, and I don't have to bother about anything.

If the XE Currency Converter writes 3,86 THB for 1 SEK, it doesn't mean that you get it in your hand.

How much do you get in your hand after exchange is important.

If I send the money from SEB Bank to SCB in Thailand , I get 3,77 THB for each crown in my hand.

If I have cash and go to a bank in Thailand, I get about 3,70 THB in my hand if the XE is 3,86.

Since March 2014 has SEK been going down constantly THAN SEK WAS 5,09 THB.......

SO IF YOU DIVIDE 5,09 WITH 3,86 WHAT DO YOU GET. YES YOU GET 1,32 ..... WHAT DOES THAT MEAN ?...

YES, THAT MEANS SEK HAS GONE DOWN 32 % AGAINST THB SINCE MARCH 2014 ..... YES ....CORRECT

SO I WAS RIGHT TO START THE TOPIC WITH " SEK IS DOWN WITH 32 % AGAINST THB "

WILL THAT END LIKE THIS,,, NO ,,, NOW WE HAVE TO PAY A FEE TO THE BANK TO TAKE OUT THE

Because you can not move to a cheap place with dirty old fashion toilets and m. m. You have to pay 20-25 000 baht a month for a nice and quite place to stay. But you can save rain water m. m.

Now the exchange rate for Swedish crown in a Thai Bank is round 3,70 baht for each crown.

3,50 is the line for staying there I stay. Have to find a cheaper apartment to stay.

If the SEK goes under 3,00 THB, than there is no hope left to survive here.

But something makes me confused .

When the people empty their Bank Accounts, what do they do with the money ?

Gold price is still going down. That's very confusing.

I don't have money left, but if I had some probably I should have bought some gold.

If the people don't have money left , than WHERE IS THE MONEY LOADED ?

Probably in these 80 rich peoples pockets. They own the World.

But I think WE ARE MORE HAPPY THAN THEM.

I have to travel from Suvarn to home again soon.

I never want to take any taxi anymore in Thailand.

There is always problems show up when I take a taxi.

Either huge price problems,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or a big car for 10 people take you than you have to pay double even if you travel alone,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or very bad drivers often(can not drive a car proper) (it makes you sick),,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or disturb you by shouting in his mobile phone( private calls),,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or old cab has very bad sound from everything in the car even the sound of the motor ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,or they always drive first to a petrol station to fill gas with the meter on of course,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or they never find the address you want to go and they always leave you far away from the address you want to go than you have to walk,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or they try to drive with light speed,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or the cab is not always clean but smell terrible,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or they have the air con on max so you freeze to death,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, or they take the longest road if the meter is on,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and they look at you unrespect fully there you order your taxi plus the driver never smile and never say something nice.

Here I have counted 13 reasons but there are more , I am sure about it.

Not to think about you can be robbed by a taxi driver or they rape you and they can even kill you. Once a taxi driver took 600 baht from me to Sai tai mai EVEN IF WE DECIDED A FIX PRICE FOR 400 BAHT BEFORE I TOOK THE TAXI. You can never trust a taxi driver in Thailand, it looks like they are all criminals who has just come out of the prison.

I WILL NEVER TAKE ANY TAXI IN THAILAND ANYMORE.

So what is the easiest way to go to Sai Tai Mai Bus Terminal from Suvarn, do you have any experience ?

I know one way there you take the Airport Link to Makkasan and walk from Makkasan to Phetchaburi ( I don't know how easy to walk that road ), and take the line to Hua Lamphong, and take another line from Hua Lamphong to Sai Tai Mai.

There is another way ; Airport Link to Phaya Thai, change to Sukhumvit - Asok, and to Hua Lampong, and to Sai Tai Mai.

Another way ; To take a bus to Donmuang and take a shuttle bus to Sai Tai Mai , if there is one. I don't know.

However at the end I have to find another way to come home. Maybe a flight to Kuala Lumpur and bus or train to Hat Yai Thailand, and another bus home, they do even have Hat Yai - Phuket.

It'll be interesting to hear what is your experience.

It looks like we have to live with this until 2018, than maybe SEK goes up to 4,50.

No one knows when does that change. If you knew it you get a Nobel Prize and 36 million THB. But you probably earn more money from the business you make by selling your knowledge.
