  1. It's a good idea to buy red roses and surprise her at the airport.

If she becomes happy to see you with flowers, it means she still loves you, specially if she cries on your shoulder. Cry on shoulder means also ,she has done something wrong with another man while she is away and she is very sad about it ,that's why she cries on your shoulder...

If she tells you why do you spend so much money on flowers means that she is materialist , she should be more happy if you buy some gold for her. That means if you go to the airport with some gold , you never understand if she loves you or not.

If you go to the airport empty handed and she becomes happy, you see it in her eyes, THE HAPPINESS , then you ask her what does she want to do in the evening, that will make her more happy.

I have had many girl friends , some of them I gave millions of baht but never saw them happy, some of them I just go to meet them unshaved and no present at all but it made them very happy JUST TO SEE ME COMING,,,, that was enough for them , for me too.

But at the end I lost all my girl friends because of many unexpected reasons, now I know which one really loved me most, but it is too late , they are already past away, and I stay here in Thailand with a young girl , half of my age, I hope she loves me, but sometimes happens things and I see in her behaving that there is no love, that feeling you can feel immediately, because if you love somebody, YOU CAN NEVER BECOME ANGRY WITH HER, NEVER REAL ANGRY, if you see in her eyes the angriness ,means that there is no love. She only stay with you because she doesn't have any other choice. She wait for the next opportunity probably.....

That's life. What happens in the next life ? Who knows, maybe there is a better life. I shall go there soon, not many years left.

    Wish you best of luck.

    CHEERS.

  2. Hi, this sunday 25th of may I have a flight to Europe. I am arriving to Sai Thai Mai Bus Terminal at 6 o'clock in the morning. I have to be at Suvarn at 09:00 am. I've heard that taxi takes long time , maybe 3-4 hours because of the traffic at the airport ( control of vehicles,,,, Martial Law ) . If I take express link from Phaya Thai or Makkasan to Airport than I don't miss my plane. Does that link still there ? Do you know it ? And how shall I come to Phaya Thai or Makkasan from The Sai Thai Mai Bus Terminal quickest way ? Do you have any experience ? How is the traffic there on a Sunday Morning ? Thanks a lot for help. Cheers.

  3. I'm still trying to work out how they get 66 litres of fuel into a 60 litre tank that also reads you have 1/4 of a tank on the guage before they started.

Try explaining that to a pump opetator and you'll be as bald as I am.

Correct. I had at least 10 liter gasoline in tha tank , asked for a full tank at gasoline station. They filled the tank 73 liters gasoline. Tank volume is 76 liter maximum. HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THIS ? I KNOW. Some stations has a price for example 50 baht a liter but they give you 0,90 liter for 50 baht. Did you get it. Probably this is a big problem in the world. But if you have 5 liter empty can and you ask for a 5 liter gasoline, you can see exactly how much gasoline do you get in your can. Correct. Do you have another idea how to find out. Somebody probably check all petrol stations every month , I've heard. But we are foreigners we can not change anything here not even in our countries in Europe. I lived in BKK before. I had 2 neighbors who where taxi drivers. The same rout to Suvarnabhoumi early morning gave 2 different prices every time I go. One is always round 120 THB, the other one is round 140 THB. Both taxis belong to the same company. The same thing happened to me in Stockholm also. That depends on how much money you give to the man who fixes your taxameter to your taxi car. I've learned that it can be up to 100 000 THB in Stockholm. Would you believe that? Let's forget it all . Life is so short. Take a drink , look at some beautiful woman , be happy. The most important think is your health. Without health is life not worth to live. Cheers

  4. Thank you SOUTPEEL. I have all the answers. To get an IDP , I need 2 PP photos, copy of PP, 500 THB and a full 5 year Thai DL. I can get it at any Traffic Department . But IDP is only valid for 12 months. It's good when I go to Europe for visit, there I can use it when I rent a car. Thanks a lot to Everybody. Cheers.

  5. Hi, I've heard that anybody can send an application with their 2 photos, copy of passport, a doctor certificate from a clinic, copy of your foreign international driving license, 2000 THB and a registered address paper from immigration office BY POST to BANGKOK. And you get your International Driving License after few days by post. Can it be true ? I wonder if it is legal ? Have you heard that ? Has anybody bought a Driving License this way or tried and lost 2000 THB ???????

  6. I visited Thailand with my European wife 1990. 24 years ago. That time there was nearly no tourists even on Phuket. So I tried to buy some condoms. I found some condoms and I bought the biggest ones . But I couldn't use them , they were half of my size when I get turned on with my wife. We gave up after half an hour trying. Now you can find bigger condoms but that time no tourists no big condoms. That's true.

  7. Thanks a lot. I shall come back with a new topic about Khok Kloi . I think there are nice and quite beaches what I've seen in the google map. It can be relaxing to sitt there under a tree shadow and read a book or write a book, why not. For example about the Universe. I am fascinated about the Universe but still can not understand the meaning of it's SIZE. Very abstract.

  8. I live on the east coast near Koh Samui but sometimes I want to come to the west coast to swim there the water is cleaner. I've heard that the beaches near KHOK KLOI area very nice and quite. There are only few expensive hotels to stay. I wonder if DO YOU KNOW ANY CHEAP AND QUITE PLACE TO RENT MONTHLY OR YEARLY to stay in that area or close to this area, between the Phuket bridge and Thai Mueang at the north. A place maybe a town-house up to 3-4 km to the beach or preferable near the beach. I live far away but i'll go there and try again. I have hope to find a place soon.

  9. Hi Crossy, LuckyPro pump is interesting. Does this pump has a non-return valve or do I have to buy it separately ? We stay in Nakhonsithammarat. Where shall I go to find this pump or can they send it from Bangkok ? And we also need something to stop the government water ( floating ball ) over the water-tank after the tank is full. ( like a toilet flash ). Thousand Thanks.

  10. Thank you very much Crossy. It helped very much. You connect the tank to the water-meter before the pump. I was thinking to connect the pump to the water-meter before the tank and close over the tank 100 %. I don't know what happens. Will the air in the tank push the water away first and the water come back again and go on filling the tank, I don't know.. The government water has often a good pressure but sometimes no pressure at all because there are some high buildings in town which has direct-connected-pump without a tank , I think. Then maybe I don't need a pump if I do like this, until the water pressure normal again we can use the tank-water with its own pressure because I hang the tank 3 meters up. I can easily take down the tank to clean it, because it's very light. I hope it works. coffee1.gif

  11. Hi Everybody. I live in Nakhonsithammarat, we have a house and garden with my tgf, everything works well as far as we do it or repair it ourselves. One problem is the water pressure from the government water pipe. That's why I WANT TO CONNECT WATER PUMP WITH A WATER TANK. There are Mitsubishi or Hitachi water pumps , but nobody knows anything about them not even the salesmen. I even talked to a German owner to a big store in Hua Hin, his answer was """ we just sell them , we do not know anything about them, people come and buy, nobody ask anything. This is Thailand """" But he tried to contact the companies in Bangkok and asked about the pumps , WITHOUT ANY RESULT. They even can not answer the questions like, """" What is the difference between the Mitsubishi Models, 85Q2 and 85Q3 and 85QS ?? How many dB noise they have when the pumps work ?? Shall I fill the water container up to 65 % water before I connect the pump and start it ?? .... I've heard many things about the pumps, many people has problem with them, and it looks like nobody really knows why these problems start. Some say the pump works with air, but normally works with water ,if you don't fill it with water or if it is leaking , it doesn't pump but it works until it gets hot and stop.

Now I bought a water tank , it is only a 200 liter tank. I didn't purchased the pump yet, maybe a Mitsubishi 80 watt, or a Hitachi 100 watt, because we do have a small house , and there is only a toilet upstairs and 4 taps downstairs and only for 2 people.

I want to connect to the water system myself. Have you done it before? Could you help me with the difficult parts. I am an civil engineer in electro technics and particle physics . I HAVE DONE ALL THE PLUMMING IN THE HOUSE ,BECAUSE THE PLUMMERS WE TRUSTED AT THE BEGINNING COULD NOT FIX IT , EVEN PLUMMING IS THEIR OCCUPATION. That was first and the last time in my life, but I did a very good job, nothing leaking any more.

I shall be grateful if I get any help at the forum.

    Thanks a lot.
