I buy diazepam and xanax from the chemist in Thailand. I'd guess about 50% of the chemists will sell it to you at an inflated price. I generally take a couple of either xanax or diazepam along with some atarax from Boots the Chemist at Suvarnabhumi. Does the trick admirably after a couple of beers and a good feed.

I'd guess you will have authenticity/duty issues. Is out of country dropshipping an option?

Water pistol filled with vinegar - one squirt in the face and they'll run yelping, probably never to return.

Only problem is that most water pistols leak a bit, and you'll end up smelling like fish and chips.

Thai's tell you what they think you want to hear which doesn't always (never) chime with the truth. Asking a direct question gets you a woolly indirect answer. One of the pitfalls.

Given the opportunity and with the right mug, not all, but many Thai's will suck you dry intellectually, financially and emotionally. They are the rules if you let it happen.

I read the article and it is a bit worrying,when i first lived here i had 3 infected mosquito bites on my foot,the whole ankle swelled up,and they were leaking pus,luckily antibiotics cleared it up,if they had not i don't know what would have happened,think back to wars ect before antibiotics most of the wounded died from infection not the actual wounds them selves,the other thing is they really have no new types to replace them.

A prime example sir. Antihistamines would more than likely have had the desired effect without the need for antibiotics.

That's an unexplainable mystery for men, because, as I said, it's impossible for men to understand women, and visa versa.

However, I can guess why single western women in LOS are uptight. IMO it's because they are not sought after like they were in their own country, and they see western men out with the local women. No man is calling to offer them a free dinner, movies or nightclub in order to possibly get to sleep with them. If they go to a bar or nightclub on their own, no guy is offering to buy their drinks for them. In other words, they have become irrelevant to a western man that wants sex.

I find it rather humerous to the extent that western women in Thailand despise western men that are going out with much younger and very attractive Thai women. I took my Thai GF to Kanchanaburi on a tour, and when we got back to Bkk, a couple of middle aged western women made a big show of saying goodbye to a young western guy on his own, while obviously ignoring me .

Personally i have no shortage of male attention (of all nationalities).

I work overseas and in the UK occasionally but live in Thailand. I still have a house in the UK. Often when travelling back to work I arrive at the airport and wonder how I would feel if I were never to return due to illness, financial hardship, war, prison. The thought is quite frankly too horrible to contemplate. My honeymoon period has lasted for over a decade and long may it last. I will never live anywhere else.

I was about to break it down further explaining what I meant / the situations. But then I asked myself why I cared about what someone on the internet thought about me.

Based on the negativity of his response, do you realistically believe he could do what you do if you explained it fully anyway? He will no doubt be one of the "I have to pay for it, therefore everyone else pays for it" crowd.

Some people prefer paying for sex. Having no desire to enter into a committed relationship, maybe having been through the mill in a divorce, an unwillingness to have somebody around all the time, a desire to be selfish and autonomous. It's not an easy catch-all statement to say just because somebody pays for sex they are somehow socially inept. Slight tangent but many years ago I arrived in Pattaya (before the Lusseean hordes arrived) after a flight from Europe. It was around midnight when I got to the hotel and went straight out onto Walking Street. I went into one of the bars on the left as you come in from Beach Road and sat down in a big easy chair. After a couple of scoops I fell asleep with my camera on the table. I was awoken by a girl as the bar was closing. In her outstretched arm was my camera which I could easily have forgotten about. A nice honest girl who got a tip for her trouble. They aren't all mercenary predators.

Tip of the iceberg as far as strange behaviour goes but never mind. I know a girl in Hua Hin who wears a strange furry tiger head with long furry paws which she positions on her head when riding her motorbike. I asked her once why she wore it but the quizzical look on her face as if to say I was the mad one was enough not to ask the question again. She also has the same thing but with a furry dogs head and paws which she wears when out and about in town.

LOL, there's even a blog or two about the issue of western women having trouble getting laid here. Some of them try the lesbian route, but the majority of those abandon that and admit they much prefer having sex with men. Apparently they don't last too long in Thailand, the really horny ones anyway. Sometimes they'll have a fling with an adventurous Thai guy, but he never calls back. Bleak state of affairs for them, indeed, because as we all know, there are some very horny women back Stateside, and I'm sure it's the same for them here.

Never even look at western women now.

According to the news over the past couple of days us British are not to look at the UK as an homogenous mix of different nationalities rather we are now advised to re-think and consider ourselves all the same "race". PC again.

Tramadol gets a bad press. I personally haven't had any problems with it but I only use it sporadically. I can see the attraction though if you take a lot of it there is a discernible "high".

Agreed but couldn't you say the same of any opiate related painkiller?

Tramadol for medium pain, around 50 baht for 10 generic in the chemist. Works on the opiate receptors but not strictly an opiate. Work everytime.

There are big problems ahead, the red shirt/yellow shirt, Thaksin, Yingluck, STOP Bangkok protests etc etc are nothng compared with what is coming. That's probably why there is a frown. Cup half full, cup half full.

Some people attract trouble and others don't. I'm in the latter category.

Don't they have these in a lot of outdoor bars? If so, they are very effective.
