Has his country any embassy in Bangkok?
-
New charter could completely alter power structure
This is the aim. It's a way to legalize the coup d'etat.
-
As no country (even THA at this time) accepts this "pass", this is just a cheap but useless booklet.
Well, kids can draw inside.

As a father of 4 (P3 to M5), I can tell that the real number of hours in front of a teacher to learn is decreasing dramatically since one year. Most of the time now focus on propaganda for Junta, Thainess, etc. My daughters spend hours and hours in traditional dance training, activities related to Mum, flags, religion, etc. The aim is clear: even if education level is one of the lowest in the world, Junta wishes it even lower => if young people are educated, know something about the world, can think by themselves, can express an opinion, they will obviously reject the current system which is absolutely unacceptable by any educated kid or adult in any country of the world.

A military Junta leader is a military Junta leader, what do you / they expect?

Human trafficking: CAM in Tier 2, THA in Thier 3 said the USA
Judges in prison (we know that they are corrupted all the ame in THA and CAM): some in prison in CAM (let's say Tier 2), none in THAI (Tier 3).
Hun Sen is "strong" (this is an euphemism), like Junta in THA but political parties are allowed in CAM (Tier 2), not in THA (Tier 3).

Any compassion?

CNN said the bomber left on a motorcycle taxi, and while on the taxi spoke on his phone in a "foreign" language that was not English.
Isan or Khmer Surin are foreign languages.
By the way, the final story will be what will fit with "their" plans.

Good move from gvt. If still in Thailand, the guy cannot be unnoticed and 1 M. is a great motivation. Well, if linked to this Uighur stuff, the guy is already out of THA.

Too bad there is no strong and male power in this country who could deal with a couple of brainless kids, invoking article 44, for example. Probably too busy reading Facebook.

A few years ago, Thai nationalists provoked Cambodian troops at the border. They wanted some pieces off Cambodian territory back to Thailand but maps are maps. They was the arm wings of the ultra royalists and yellow shirt. Abhisit was more than happy to DO NOT condemn them and even support them => a short war erupted.
Now Cambodian ultra nationalists are provoking Vietnamese at the border. They want some pieces of Vietnamese territory back to Cambodia but maps are maps. Hun Sen does not want any war with anyone... outside Cambodia.
The funniest is that the Cambodian opposition brought their "real maps" to prove Vietnam is evil but... after looking at them, the experts saw that they were THE SAME MAPS than the gvt. Maps are maps. The only solution for Thai extremists and Khmer extremists is to reject all the French legal maps (in the 2 cases, French made the maps) and "imagine" the maps they like, thus HoChiMinh City could be Khmer and Battambang could be Thai. Fortunately maps are maps and you cannot just change the border according to your wishes.
The real point of yellow Thais is that they hate Khmers and are ready to fight.
The real point of Cambodian opposition is that they hate Vietnamese and are ready to fight.
Yellow shirts and Cambodian opposition are Dangerous because they want war and death of inhabitants and soldiers. They need to be calmed down. "Incitement to racial hatred" is an offense in any country. Well, civilized countries.
So:
Fortunately Hun Sen is wiser than Abhisit and he does not fall in the trap. No war should erupt between Cambodia and Vietnam for a couple of rice-fields.
Unfortunately, Hun Sen is Hun Sen and even if he's 100% right about the border story, he's 100% wrong when he arrests this Senator. Well, let's say, 200% wrong. -
I read Thai newspapers since more than 25 years and every 3 months there is a similar article = I read this %£$§ more than 100 times.
During this time the level of education is Thailand is still sinking.

No "out of order" sign because teachers were illiterate.
By the way, there will be compensation. If it's a poor family they'll get a 5 kg bag of rice. JASMINE rice due to generosity of administration.

Thaksin is 66 yeard old. What is the meaning to have or do not have the rank for a retired man? Would he work at catch burglars or Watch the trafic jams?

So they though The Shin's away beause it's was a clan accused of nepotism, then Junta Leader came and promoted members of his family but this is ot nepotism just "right man at the right place". OK
Corruption is still here
Nepotism is still here
Why not after all?
Maybe this is Thainess and we should repect that!

Junta version of "fighting human tafficking".
Very funny but not sure it will help to reach TIER 2 in the US rating.

I have 4 kids in Thai schools (P3, P5, M4, M5). Some in public, some in private schools. I have a extended knowledge of the local system. Today, I'll just answer the question and it's "NO". The reason, beside the weakness of the teachers, is that, since a few months, they don't learn anything at school, anymore => they spend all the time is propaganda activities related to Thainess (IMO this is "how to become dumb in 90 lessons"). How could a Vietnamese come here to learn to be a Thai dumb?

Sorry, police and army are dedicated to be at the service of the citizens => it means to obey to an elected gouvernement. The political ideas of the soldiers or policemen cannot interfer with their job. Period.

Self proclaimed experts.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease, stay home, look Channel 7, drink Chang and SHUT UP!

'We've done our best,'
This is the saddest sentence I never read. The situation is awful. Army, police are fully involved in human trafficking. At this minute, NO TRIALS, NO SENTENCED OFFICERS, NO REAL IMPROVEMENT. If this is "the best", this is very weak and I wonder what is the worst.
In Thailand, if you smuggle one kilo of drug => death penalty, if you smuggle one ton of human being (20 x 50 kg), you risk a transfer to another city.

This spyware is like the aircraft carrier or the submarine: no local human resources to make it work, to motivation for something "mai sanook". They just have been bought for the kick back they generate.
By the way, would you buy a software at this amount when you can find it at 80 THB in Pantip?

I'm sorry PBS and Thaivisa, but, due to Thai laws, it's forbidden to publish pictures of dry fields. "Junta Leader asks media not to report pictures of parched, cracked rice fields because it'll make people depressed"
-
The point is not the ridiculous picture, it's that a British newspaper has the right to publish it. Congratulations to English freedom of speech.
