My Thai wife scrutinizes all the bins we get when out and about.
She does all the tipping,,,,,,and in most cases always leaves a tip for the service/wait staff.

Wait until after the 1 year licenses expires at least a day or two before you go to renew for the 5 year.
As for using a Thai license in another country? Check with the country in question and their motor vehicle laws as to whether they accept a Thai license to allow driving in their country.
An example in the US is the Thai license is acceptable as a driving license in most states and no need for a International driving permit as the new Thai license is printed in English.
If you don't already understand the IDP is just a way for the police in any given country to read a statement that the driving license held by a person actually is licensed to drive in their home country. You cannot get a IDP without first being a licensed driver in the country where you apply for it. The IDP in and of itself is not an actual driver's license.

Sorry for your loss------and that's what it is a loss------------you have learned a lesson and I'm betting this is not the first hard lesson you've learned. As has been said here many times invest only what you can loose and not miss. If for some strange reason she comes around again and asks for more don't be a real big fool and give her more. These girls have a way of giving you some sob story and look and then we cave in.

Have a close friend or relative make a TT from their bank account to you in LOS----------of course you would have to transfer the money to that friends/relatives account first

Out and about today and had some shopping to do at Lotus in BC. I noticed as we drove in to the car parking area there is what I believe to be a new Pizza place open on the inner drive way strip of shop houses near Lotus. For those familiar with the place it will be on the very end of the row of shops opposite the store and carpark. The last shopfront. I did not see a name other than Pizza Place and did not stop to ask about it. Next time I am around I may stop to see what they have to offer.

Sauerkraut does not hold up well to the freezing process and looses flavor---------so I'm told
If it's just plain kraut it is made by the fermenting process and it should keep well in a tightly closed container in the fridge for 2 or 3 months.
Just like pickles, they stay good for a long time.

I will be getting bids from builders later this year.
Please pass the details of your guy to me?
Thanks

To each his own and that is especially true of pizza and pizza lovers.
My opinion is the Offshore has one one the worst pizzas ever I would eat Thai Pizza Hut first if they were here in BC
We have a Lotus and KFC maybe PH next?

Dealer is wrong. Tell him you will find another dealer.
I bought my D-MAx 3 years ago on a Non Imm visa living in a hotel in Pattaya from a Isuzu dealer in BKK.
They registered, insured and plated the truck in my name before I paid a cent.

I can tell you from looking at it that the input is 3 wires - from the topmost (on the right in the first picture) set of wires. Then the output is 4 wires. The MEA ran the new supply (3 wires) from the nearby Soi & the dead legs pictured terminate in front of my house. This way everyone nearby has more current available - should they need it.
I was watching discovery channel the other day. They were saying that USA homes used to be wired for 100 AMPS. But today 200 amps is minimum (@ 120 volts) & 400 amp is not uncommon at all.
Let the experts tell us. The power coming into the transformer - is it 480? or higher?
Someone correct me if wrong here but I am pretty sure the supply from the street to the home meter and Panelboard in the USA is typically 240 volts not 120. They stopped supplying 120 many years ago. The 240 comes in with a neutral and the Panel splits the two legs into 120 down each buss bar for the home. There are 240 volt breakers designed to cross both bus bars to supply a clothes dryer or other heavy draw appliance

I have used SCB online for almost 3 years and do all my transfers up to now from the US to my account here. All done on line at both ends.
Depending on the time of day I initiate the TT the money hits my account in about 18 hours.
After a transfer and the next opportunity I visit my SCB branch and have them print a detail report of the TT for my records.

pattayapip,
Your new WRvinyl widows look great.
I think you made a good choice.
Would you care to reveal the total cost including install?
If not maybe a PM to me?
I intend to have them quote me a price early next year on my new build.
They were 160,000 Baht (10 Big Windows and 5 Big French Doors) , Which i think is great Value, with payments something like 50% on order, 40% When made and 10% when fitted and happy, good choice you wont be disappointed, They actually have a display at Careforre i saw Yesterday
Cheers
pattayapip,
Just to clarify one more time?
Your cost was for:
10 ea 1700mm windows with multi point locks and screens
4 sliding doors 1700mm with multipoint locks and screens
1 double French door with locks and screens
Installation and any other misc. pieces.
What glass was installed? Green? Low e? Double?
Did you get pricing from any other Upvc dealer in the area?
Did you price aluminum to compare?

The 30 year lease with an option to renew for another 30 can be added to the lease contract I believe but no lease can be added to a Chanote for longer than 30 years.
As I am in my 60's,, 30 years is plenty for me.
-
The answer is at the local PEA office. A trip there to ask should answer the question.

I've been using Roboform for almost 2 years. I think it works great. I also use the Roboform2go for a USB zip drive
It is way easier than keying in your different logins and passwords and it allows the use of much more complicated passwords than you would normally choose because of laziness.
For me ------------works well

I hope Hutch keeps on going for a year or so.
I always connect and stay connected. Speeds vary but typically 100 is the norm here in BC. Better than nothing which is my alternative
