For the 1-year extension of stay, it has to be a minimum of 40K THB per month transferred from overseas. That posses a problem when you haven't lived in Thailand for at least a year. There are those that have used an agent for the very first extension, whilst they transfer income from overseas during that year, then applied the following year themselves (1,900 BHT) now having the required evidence.

@Nayet Let me attempt to conclude your position in a nutshell. The Thai consulate no longer issue the Non Imm O ME based on Thai spouse with proof of 400K THB in a Thai bank account for 2 months. They do however still issue the single enter Non Imm O based on Thai spouse without financial proof (that could change). The SE Non Imm O will grant you a stay of 90 days on entry, which you can extend for a further 60 days at Immigration = 150 days. I seriously doubt the Thai consulate will issue multiple Non Imm O visa. The way forward for you to remain in Thailand with your Thai wife legitimately is to apply for a 1-year extension of stay from the 90 days received on entry. However, the financial requirements for the 1-year extension based on Thai spouse are either 400K deposited in a Thai bank account for 2 months, or 12 x 40K THB monthly overseas transfers from overseas. As you have expressed that you cannot meet either of these requirements, then your only option is to employ an agent who can facilitate a 1-year extension of stay based on retirement, without any proof of financial funds. Fees may vary dependent on the agent, but be clear the fee you pay is to obtain an extension under immoral circumstances.

It was a truthful answer. Thailand has financial requirements to stay, just as other Countries have. They have those financial requirements for a reason.
