  1. Use Google Lens to translate it but the main one is at Nakornping Fridays and Saturdays except public holidays 8-2.

You'll likely also be able to get boosters at major District Hospitals as well.

Good question and I have no idea of what such places might charge on a 6 monthly package basis.

I just asked the guy concerned, he says hopefully between 5,000 to 8,000 per month on a package basis, with contract for 6 months possibly extendable long-term.

I have no idea if that's reasonable/possible. I hope it is, he needs to find something soon.

You're not going to get a three star hotel on that budget but you can get a fairly basic apartment.

Check out this group on FB - it only deals with listings under 10k baht.

I have been to the Rimping Nim Daley, the River Ping, the old Promenada Rimping, MaeChoke, and one other, the name used escapes me,

The name of nearly every one seemingly escapes you. NimCity, Nawarat, you actually got Promenada right and Meechok. Other branches - Kad Farang, Maya, San Sai and Mae Hia.

warm most of the time    thailand is hot all year round you should know this

You're a clown if you believe that - this is the Chiang Mai forum, not somewhere down south. The outside temperature is predicted to get down to 17c next week in Chiang Mai city and much cooler in the mountains. The average minimum temperature in Chiang Mai city is 14 in January.

  6. They should be included in the rent payment. If you're in a private moo baan with pool and clubhouse, there will be a common fees but that is supposed to be part of your rent. Garbage fees should also be part of the rent and notably are not expensive - I live in San Sai just near the Doi Saket border and it costs us 300 baht for six months of garbage collection. You buy stickers from the local tambon office and put them on garbage bags to be collected.

  7. Is it ok to name other suppliers here when Asean Now has it's own designated advertiser?

I'm just finished 2 grams of Green Crack from a shop that previously advertised here and is well known and I am very happy with it and would buy it again. Had primarily been buying stick from the same place which is also a good smoke, whereas their more exotic and expensive options I found to be hit and miss.
