To say we are reaching breaking point is an understatement and as previously suggested by some contributors it maybe time to take this project to other countries. At the moment it looks like mid July is D-Day, win or lose.
Not entirely surprising (as other projects have failed to) but still very disappointing news ????
perhaps you need to invest in larger brown envelopes ????

I agree. When she was a mere lass, she was a stunner. She is still holding up rather well, but back in the day? Ooh la la.
If you watch the 1990 move "The Hot spot" you can see all of her !!! ????

where is that JohnG ?
No sign of adjoining road so must be for railway i assume
The photo was taken at Na-Jomtien near to the now defunct Alankarn Theatre the railway road never made it this far south I''m assuming too that they are preparing for the high speed rail track and not a road but possibly both but that would make less sense as they are widening the Sukhumvit road. which runs parallel already.

Rumour has it that a big shopping mall is going to be built nearby..
They are widening Sukhumvit to what could be 5 lanes each way.
As well as preparing for new train track

Breeze block are the coarse, dark grey stuff with visible air holes and often hollow on the inside aren't they?
They still sell them ( breeze blocks) at the builders merchants here in Thailand cheaper than Qcon blocks.

A lockdown that would have destroyed thousands, if not millions of peoples lives.
The once booming tourist hotspots Like Pattaya,Phuket and Chaingmai have been devastated with the measures implemented so far which for Pattaya did involve check points on all road entry and exit points for a short while not really a "hard lockdown" but things just got worse and worse from there on closing all bars, pubs, disco's,massage, cinemas, swimming pools, beaches, parks, restaurants etc the street vendors are thinning out, many 7/11 and Family Marts closed, even the "free copy" real estate magazines seem to have thrown in the towel !!!!
The lady in the article would be better off if she could add a sidecar/cart to her bike so the kids would be a bit better protected but she probably hasn't even enough money to afford one. ( 3000 +++ baht)

Never happen with a SSD
They have other disadvantages like limited write cycles, being newer technology we don't really know how long they last for compared to traditional HDD's ( I have one that's more than 25 years old still works)
also for an 8TB SSD it's still about 900 dollars compared to about 140 for a spinning disc version.

Western Digital Mybook they have various capacities buy online cash on delivery from the official J.I.B store on Lazada

( like they show in the adds) it got knocked over whilst reading/writing data which crashed the heads !!! always always lay them down flat.

So for LED I can just change my 2 Blade bulbs which the same as the 3 pin ordinary car headlight bulbs to the H4 LED bulbs that you can buy on-line at Lazada. ?
You may come across a common problem of flickering at low RPM's if the LED's are not driven by 12v DC direct from a battery I encountered this when I fitted an LED bulb in direct replacement of a filament bulb to my Suzuki Raider it did not have relays fitted so draws power directly from the flywheel generator and regulator/rectifier which obviously doesn't do such a good job of rectifying the 3 phase to a single phase DC stable voltage the battery and filament bulbs don't seem to care much but LED bulbs are a bit more fussy.
a wiring diagram to fix "the problem"

I have a feeling that my old TV may prove to be a problem of some sort relating to its main board technology.
The Tv will not be a problem it will just be displaying the picture/sound the "set top box"
is doing all the complicated stuff.
Using an old PC is of course possible but they tend to be noisy and power hungry compared to a dedicated set top box.
I have no recommendations for a fully loaded box as I just use a raspberry pi 4 running libreelec/Kodi.

What is RCA?
"Royal City Avenue - more commonly known as RCA - is the epicenter of Bangkok's clubbing scene. It's an officially designated nightlife zone so you can be assured of a party 7 nights a week. Clubbing institutions are packed every night and, on weekends, they're rammed to full capacity. There are so many options for partygoers in RCA"

Have you noticed how many of the fish supply shops have closed in the past months.
I don't know what the reason is, but majority of the shops i knew about, are now not there any more
No I haven't specifically noticed aquarium shops closing amongst the huge number of other shops/business which are closed, I would imagine that hotels, condos and restaurants would have counted for a large part of their sales prior to the Covidiocy.
I think the one on South Pattaya road near the Mosque is still open ?

Your Thai driving licence is definitely, fully valid for 12 months of driving in the UK.
With a 2 year provisional Thai licence ? thought it had to be a "full" 5 year licence.
