I witnessed some  "logic" recently during the very bad smog days ..someone had gathered up loads of leaf litter and other stuff and was burning it making a lot of smoke,  neighbours complained , management company came and put out the fire..then came back with machetes and started cutting all the trees down...no trees no leafs to burn "logic"  luckily the same neighbour who called them to put out the fire  managed to stop the felling before too much damage was done.

well after a bit more experimenting with  Software Defined Radio

I found no DAB  in my area and not very surprising as we seem to be in a very bad spot for terrestrial broadcasts.

I'm wondering though if they are  testing DAB on  a strange frequency  at about 100 MHZ instead of the usual 200(odd) MHZ

in the screen capture there are  signals but they are not FM voice  maybe digital  maybe DAB ?

you will get best results with an outdoor antenna ( unless you live very close to the transmitter)

they use the same frequencies as the old analogue TV did so  no need for any "special digital" antenna

"public"  land now.

The other "restaurant"  you can see in the background  just behind the red sign is also  closed..so nowhere to get a beer now except from the 7/11 at "bali hai"    but not  between 2pm and 5 pm  and 12 midnight till 11 am

That road has some nasty potholes and  undulations ( MX whoops) they did resurface recently but I don't know if they got all the problems ..could have been a stray dog or  drunk pedestrian run out in front of the driver even another vehicle hit and run.
