Congratulations OP. You are very lucky man! In one month you spend more than the average Thai does in a whole year. While I don't spend that much money per month:
Feels good to be a rich white guy in a developing country amirite?
Is the average Thai only earning Bt.6250 per month ?
About 7200 per month for minimum wage i think
So if your spending 74k a month you should be really enjoying yourself or you need to reassess your life

I probably do around 25k a month when im here, i dont eat much western food and dont have expensive habits and addictions though i do spend big on toys like motorbikes and computers every once and awhile
My TGF earns 15k a month and spends half of it on new car repayments on a car she hardly ever uses, shes doing fine and has a kid
Its obviously a very subjective thing, everyone has different realities

You usually need a return ticket to get the visa in the 1st place, im going from my experience in getting a 2x entry in australia
This obviously dosnt apply when your getting a tourist visa in Laos, as long as the form is at least half filled out and you give them money your sweet
-
You'll probably need to put the date shown on your return ticket which since you want a 2x entry, should not be within the 1st 60-90 days
-
Im sure its nowhere near on the same level as an australian building site, you need to lighten up, develop an ego and throw the shit back at them and have fun

I got a lift from a guy who had a radio scanner tuned to the cop frequencies, obviously you need to learn Thai but sounds like a good way to avoid the checkpoints

Giving them a go for the 1st time in May
I got bangkok-chiangmai return for $3 when i added it on to the syd-bkk flight, it is more about flying on the 744 for the last time before they go completely extinct though

I wonder if we're talking Brisbane to Bangkok or Bangok to Brisbane?
The Brisbane to Bangkok flight is an excellent flight and at the right time of day.
Just the Bangkok->Brisbane one, Thai Air is planning to steal planes from Qantas to use for the return trip

It feels good when you make it to the top of Doi Suthep on your push bike, even better when your coming down. When you get down the bottom you realize how cooler it was up the top

maybe the radiation in the air is weakening immune systems and allowing these diseases to thrive , dont expect any health warnings from governments as radiation is a word they will never speak of.
yes its all due to global warming <glad i got that in before anyone. >
I dont agree, this is obviously Putin's doing

<script type='text/javascript'>window.mod_pagespeed_start = Number(new Date());</script>
The full service airlines are always going to be more expensive when you book only one way
Try return ticket pricing & you will see what I mean
Yeah saw that also saw this
syd-bkk return $1067
syd-bkk-cnx return $1070
$3 for a bangkok-chiang mai return is allright

Half the fun of cycling for me is mixing it up with the traffic and lane splitting/filtering the hell out of it, also having something to help push myself to higher fitness levels, eg keeping up with traffic the entire way around the moat road

Doesn't matter whether I'm off to Bangkok or Pattaya, I stuck two fingers up to these taxi drivers a long time ago...BTS and buses are good enough for me and better than them...I'm a light traveler but if you happen to have too many bags for that then there are quite a few taxi services that people book in advance and often mention on these forums....use them
I dislike public transport nearly as much as whining cab drivers, ive locked my push bike at the airport and left it for a few days from time to time as its the one mode of transport that is free, im in control and in charge at all times and dont have to deal with anyone or have to explain to the driver i dont want to go to his ladyboy brothel

Damn, was about to book Thai airways for a may till september trip but dat KUL-SYD for $105..

Get on hormone therapy, hip and breast implants and become a LB prostitute, style your makeup so you look like a mixed asian/white

AA fly out of DMK, factor that into your budget and travel plans, also have to pay extra for baggage, seat selection
I recommend Nok air and Thai Lion Air, cheap but no extra charge for bags and seat selection. Keep in mind they too fly out of DMK
