The coronation concert.
Excuse my lack of knowledge but what's a deaf signing choir?
"diverse group comprised of Britain’s Refugee choirs, NHS choirs, LGBTQ+ singing groups and deaf signing choirs, will form The Coronation Choir and also perform at the concert"

Saw a young Russian couple pushing baby in a pushchair along Pattaya prom today. It beats the hell out of being chilled to the bone in a trench waiting for Ukranian shells to land.
Agreed. We're in Chanthaburi, yesterday morning two minivans stopped where we were at an Amazon Cafe/PTT Station; 24 or more passengers, appeared to be all young Russian families, kids as well, on their way to Ban Pakkard or Ban Laem on a visa run. Good luck to them.

Rabbits for Chinese New Year, on one of the bridges over the Chanthaburi River at Chantaboon
This thread for Eastern Thailand photos though that seems too difficult to comprehend!

Do you think the comments here are representative of a population?
You're right, they're not.
In the most recent NZ General Election (Oct 2020) Jacinda Ardern gained 70.1% of the vote in her electorate. The Labour Party gained 50.0% across the country giving them 65 seats from 120 under the MMP voting system, allowing them to govern without needing the support of a coalition partner. The first time a NZ party has been able to govern without a coalition agreement since MMP was introduced in 1996.
The main opposition, National Party, received 25.6% of the vote, giving them 33 seats from 120.

29 January
5 March
Location - near Khlong Khud (Khut) which is between Tha Mai and the coast at Chao Lao; 24km from Chanthaburi city, or about 10km from turnoff on Sukhumvit Rd.

This style:
Racing on Sunday 29 January and Sunday 5 March 2023 in Chanthaburi province.
In previous years there's been up to six boats per race, on a long oval course as opposed to what I've also seen which is straight-out two boat drag racing.
I se DJKai who makes these videos is booked for the 29 January event.

From before some of us were born . . . found this Tull for a television show - mimed in this case, Bouree off their second album Stand Up, where the second flute (Martin Barre) is evident.
Plenty of later versions available online, some with a distinctive jazz feel, but this is the original.

Eas to make these inane, vacuous statements on an internet forum.
So often the criticism has come from an aged white redneck demographic unable to cope with a younger woman in any position perceived as 'powerful' ...just sayin'
Care to back it up with facts?

only flute player in rock music ever.
some of his music is pure genius.
watched an interview once ... he toured with led zeppelin. ... they would sleep with groupies and do drugs after shows.
he preferred to be alone and quietly read a book.
Not only, ever. Try:
Moody Blues - vocalist/flute player, eg Nights in White Satin.
Genesis when Peter Gabriel sang/played flute
Traffic.
Focus.
But Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull undoubtedly the best-known. Saw them in concert Sydney Australia 1984, New Plymouth, NZ 1994.
Tull's guitarist Martin Barre also played some of the flute on their Stand Up and Benefit albums
In 2023, flute in current music it'd have to be Lizzo, from pop to Grammy awards to the Library of Congress

Aim low. That’s the Thai way. A bunch of wannabe superstars.
Funny I'd always considered that 'the English way' when it comes to global sport.????
They can only 'play what's in front of them' as they saying goes. If they're happy, sponsors happy, well that's good enough for me.

An old thread; but still alive
There's racing in Chanthaburi on Sunday 29 January 2023 and 5 March 2023.
These events for the smaller boats as I'd pictured previously, presume same as previous years where they race up to six at a time.

Different standards for different offices. Chanthaburi Immigration on 5 January I was shown Google maps of our area, asked to point out where our house is, she simply took a screenshot.

He said “I stopped my car completely to talk with him before a furious argument began".
Key question - does he speak English? If not, then that is an outright lie as there was not going to be any discussion, just an aggressive confrontation that turned out to be deadly.
English - with a NZ accent?
UK news report states that Apicha Boonsawat attended King 's High School in Dunedin, New Zealand - but not how many years he was there.

A bit of a moron, if he’d hit him with the Mercedes he could have called it an accident. But he’s HiSo so probably nothing will happen to him. Very sad, and very very stupid. What do Thai people think the horn is for?
Where did the Mercedes come from.
As shown on CCTV, he was driving an aged Honda Civic fitted with a roof rack, that's how they identified him.
Hi-so BS.

Thanks. I switched to data on my phone (AIS) and the link works, however on home internet using the laptop (TOT internet) it's blocked. Bizarre.
Live and learn! Cheers.

Nobody should sign any contractual agreement without reading and understanding each clause. This has nothing to do with supposed "fine print" but has everything to do with the customer performing due diligence and understanding what T & C's that he or she is agreeing to.
I didn't have to check the fine print; with Southern Cross Travel Insurance there's a prompt as part of the online application - do you require motorcycle cover? - with a Yes/No before continuing towards payment.
It's a small additional premium and is highlighted as 'covered' on the one-page confirmation of travel insurance which accompanies the full policy.

Echoes of John Key who left his National party pre-election - his farewell speech:
Quote:"On a family basis, I don’t think I could commit much longer than the next election.”
"All I can say is I gave it everything I had. I have left nothing in the tank.”
The next election, National crashed and burned. Even worse in 2020 they dropped to 25.6% of the vote and just 33 seats.
A lot of ground to make up v Labour whose 2020 results an even 50% and 65 seats.
